I need some help in excluding the standard IPB ads (header and footer) from certain pages: register, signup, store etc. Can someone please help with required code editing in those pages like by placing some exclusion script or add those pages names in advertisement codes to be excluded or place some exclusion codes in custom.css. So I have recently installed IPS Community Suite V4 (self-hosted), however upon attempting to login to the Admin control panel (ACP) with the correct credentials, I receive an error message stating "Your IP Address does not match this session".... Occasionally I am able to login, and can see that every log in attempt comes from a 10. address, which i've not come across before. My public IP address is in the 109. region. When I am able to log in, I am only able to manage a few clicks in the control panel before I am kicked out again with the same error message. I have 40 + themes setup on a local. Every time I need to shut down Designers Mode for an upgrade restarting after is a pain in the back side... Reason is Microsoft slips in their little hidden thumb.db file anytime you add an image to a theme file causing a permissions error while rebuilding Designers Mode. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, how did you fix it? The only way so far that I have found is un-hiding the hidden files through out the Windows 10 system then going to the themes directory and deleting every instance prior to restarting Designers Mode.... Or wait until the permissions error pops up..... Either way this is a waste of time hunting them…

Hello; yesterday our site started throwing generic_error EX1210 and will not display any content. We are unable to access the ACP or restart the webserver or database server right now. We have not installed anything or changed anything and the error seems to have started on it's own. Hi, i have an IP Pages creating a forum topic for each article, for comments. The thing is, IP pages also puts the whole content of the article into the topic. As google may complain about the duplicate content, i would like to know if it could put just a "teaser" of the article instead of the whole text and how can i do this. I suppose i have to edit any file, but i don't know which one. May somebody help me?

Is there a way to set a given notification configuration to all users in the database? For instance (just an example), I want to change the "When someone likes something I posted" notification from all users to "notification list" instead of "email". How can I do that? Maybe through an SQL query?

Hello, I've been trying to use an an FTP, both FileZilla and WinSCP, and I haven't been able to connect to the server because I've been getting timeouts on both programs. It says the connection is established, but it will not allow for the directory to retrieved before telling me it has timed out. I've tried adjusting the settings, trying both active and passive modes, as well as disabling my firewall and no results. Could this be a server side thing? Thanks.

I like to customize the welcome email for every member who sign up to share some little brief and couple of forum guideline links and privacy policy. I explored a bit and reach till: ACP -> Custom -> Emails, but after that in each email template there was just a bunch of codes and no text all for email validation or registration completion email. Where can I find below text to edit? And any way to preview welcome email while customizing or some wsyiswyg editor exists for this?

Is it just me, but ever since the latest update whenever i try to load my unread content feed it can take upwards of 5 mins to load. At first I thought it was my signal, but I have the same problem even when connected to various different wifi networks.

Alright, the short version is that I haven't installed and setup a web server in about 10 years. In order to get IPS setup within the company I work for I need to setup an internal server and I'm having nothing but a pain in doing it. This server is refusing to install anything but 5.4 PHP which I'm willing to come back to later. Before I tried updating to 5.6 I had free and clear everything and I should have installed and just left it at that. Now I'm having a nightmare of a time getting the install script to work at all. i got some issues with member accounts in my forum i believe after i upgraded to ips 4.1.3.2 or it was exists even before that im not quite sure so dozens of my forum members are completely broke im not sure how many because they are in all groups BANNED LOCKED SPAMMERS VALIDATING i have checked several members in each group they are all same so the problem is i cant change edit move or doing ANYTHING ELSE on this members the "SAVE" button on this members doesn't work in acp for example if i wanted to move one of them to another group I CANT because after i change their group and clicking on "save" nothing happens its like the save button is not clickabl…

Hi guys My board has thrown a wobbley during the latest upgrade. Its saying my PHP version needs to be 5.3.0 or above but my version is 5.3.27 Unless im reading something wrong here i already meet the requirements. But like i said the upgrade process has stopped.
