I don't think there is any way to do this outside of a SQL statement, but I thought that I'd give it a shot. Is there any way to get all of the ip addresses associated with one member out of the ACP? Right now I'm on 3.4 but will be migrating to version 4 in a few weeks. If it can only be done via SQL, can someone help with the statement needed? I know enough SQL to be dangerous.

Hello, Prior to version 4 IP Board had a auto save facility when posting or sending a PM, this was very useful if a user deleted the text in a large post or PM. Now I've moved to version 4 this facility does not seem to exist and I have had a number of users asking how they now retrieve lost text in a post or PM. Does version 4 still have this facility?

Hi All In the previous version of IPB you could specify that the users listed online (on the bottom of the homepage) can be specified by timeout. ie if a person was online within the last 60 minutes they would still show online, or you could change that setting to 15 or 30 minutes, etc.. Where is that setting in IPB4? Thanks!

So I've got small forum going, and I'm trying to set it up to be s little faster as I'm on a cheap shared host. I wanted to set up a cron job, but my host only allows 15 minutes minimum for cron jobs, where ips says it should be run per minute, can I set my cron to 15 minutes AND use automatic with traffic, right now there we have very few members and it quite frequently goes an hour+ with no members on the site, would this help/be possible to use both options?

Unsure if this is a bug or a quirk or what, but, if you go to advanced search, there's no easy way that I can see that allows you to filter your search to particular forums: https://community.invisionpower.com/search/ Even when you select Topics you don't get an option to filter. I do realise that you can just do a search in each forum via the search box and select "only this forum" - but it seems odd the option isn't on the advanced search page? For whatever reason the editor seems to think that each new line needs to end and reopen a new div. On 3.4.8 we had custom bb code for a box that was used for a template in one section of our community. In 4.1.x we've not figured out how to make this an option in the editor except to copy from an old post and paste it into the new thread. The issue is when we go make a new line by hitting the enter button, instead of going to a new line inside the box, it instead closes that box and creates a new one. It's also impossible to click under the box to type anything outside of it, and each new 'enter' just creates a new box... How do I work around this? H…

Hey, I got the following errors after I moved my installation from server A to B: 1. Login to AdminCP not possible. I log in with the right email and password and it just reloads the loginpage. Nothing else happens. If I add wrong creds, it shows me the errors... Is it a seession / cookie problem? 2. It's not possible to post topics, screenshot: See attachment. 3. Hi there, I'm using some secondary groups to specify permission for different sub-forums and areas of my suite. At this time my permission concept looks like that: Primary gorup: Member Secondary group: isAllowedToPostCalendarEntries, isAllowedToPostInSubforumTeam It's not exactly the way my groups are named but in fact it's the way my permission system is built. Hi to all of you, I have successfully migrated my board two times Due to some issues I wanted to re-run the upgrade and everything went fine. The only thing that I have issues with is background tasks. After the upgrade I have logged to Admin area/Dashboard and I could see couple of background tasks standing at 100% and other tasks and 0% I've had to manually run the background tasks so they could be completed. And again I see one task standing at 100% and it looks like it could not be finished. I recently updated to 4.1 from 3.x. Everything is working really well and our members love the new forum. There are a number of members where the forum seems to continuously log them out even if they check off the Keep Me Logged in checkbox on login. It happens to me on occasion too where I will get kicked out of my session and have to login again. This never used to happen on the old board. Anyone have any ideas of what might cause this?

I plan to move a forum on to a subdomain from a sub folder. There used to be a checklist somewhere if I recall correctly, but I can't seem to locate it. I'm using the latest version of IPB and while migrating the forum to the new domain and changing some configuration options is fairly straight forward, I'd image this will result in broken links 1. What SQL command should I run to update any links that may not have updated 2. What's the best way to handle 301's after the migration 3. Anything else they may be useful Thanks so much

I have a custom field setup on my downloads, I am using check boxes for selection. When I select the 'include field in topics' setting I can fill out the display format box, I currently have this filled in: <strong>{title}:</strong> {content} The problem is that the above outputs the title correctly but the content outputs: 0,1,2,3 Which is when the 4 options are checked, I was expecting the result to be my actual option names comma separated, these seem to be array values or similar. How can I get the option name to output?

One of the most annoying features of IP.Board 4.x so far is the auto conversion of a thread link into an embedded link. This also happens when a thread link is added on to text, in which case the text is all removed, and replaced with the thread summary. We have several threads with lists of links to important threads, and these are now all quite a mess. I'm really hoping that this either is something that can be disabled in future releases, or at the very least present the user with an option to either embed or show a link as text. If there is such an option already, please post it here.

Hello, right now i get complaints that the formatting of the email has changed from IPB3 to 4. Previously, it was possible to see which topic caused the notification. But with IPB4, first the author is mentioned and the topic title is far at the back. How can i change the order of this textblocks and how can i change the textblocks themselfes?
