My website is here and I'm using the dark version of the default theme: I understand that this is provided without official support so I'm hoping someone here can help me. I really like the theme but there are two problems that I can't figure out how to solve: The search box has a dark background but the text is black. The WYSIWYG editor has a white background, which is fine, but when quoting another post the quote box is dark but the text colour from quotes is not maintained. As such, quotes in the editor show up with dark text on a dark background and are almost unreadable. Other text entry (e.g. user profile) works fine since they're all just…

Hello Is there a simple way to remove a member from following me? Currently when I ban a member it doesn't remove him as a follower, if i wish to do that I have to set him as active again (because I can't sign in into banned accounts ) and then ban him again Is there a better method?

Hello, actually I use only the forum APP, but I want to create a social site, creating diferents groups, with subscriptions to diferentes groups, with separate contents for diferent groups... Similar to Jomsocial in Joomla. Is it possible with the IPS4 apps?

I just finished converting vB content into IPS 4 and when I look at Blogs, all my blogs appear to me fine. When I look at my list of members, everything appears to be fine. However, when I go into AdminCP and click on Community ? Blogs, to list the blogs, I get a list that says Member Has Been Deleted over and over. No username are on any of the pages. Please help.

I have recently installed the latest update for IPS and it seems to have broken a few custom error messages that I was using on a few pages. Basically I was running a few checks on page load, and if they failed I would use: \IPS\Output::i()->error("Message", "CODE"); However, it seems to be broken now. Is there a different way to achieve displaying an error message or is it just me that this isn't working for? Thank you! Hi, just wanted to ban a complete domain for using in image urls. In the last couple of weeks we get a lot of posts containing transparent counter pixels from one domain. Now I tried to blacklist this domain but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

hhhhh so i've been using IPB for years with a separate CMS built in php. recently i made the decision to upgrade to 4.x and get Pages so I could pull the two halves of my site together. however, I am struggling to adjust to invision's Pages app and I feel like I've already tossed one too many dumb questions at the official support. I am running IPS4 and my some of my users are experiencing an issue with adding images to posts. What is occurring is that the "Drag files here" portion of the reply window is not showing up and it is happening across several browsers. I have recommended clearing cache, which has not helped and these users are all within the same group with the needed permissions. Again, not all users, just a few. IPS says this is not a known bug. Any recommendations?

I ran a conversion of a vB 4 database and noticed several background processes running on the admincp dashboard. I clicked to run them manually, but I receive this error after about 30 seconds of doing this. It happens every time with the same error. Any help resolving the issue is greatly appreciated. Hello everyone, I finally managed to launch our forums but I found out that I am not able to upload any cover picture to my profile. More users are also affected by this issue. I set up that administrators can upload 4996kB for the cover picture. I made sure that the settings are allowed. I get the error "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200" once I try to upload any .jpg image as a cover picture. Any idea what is happening? Hi, I am looking for a plugin (or any working solution) with which I will be able to create a reputation system, not levels. By default I can choose from: likes, up/down reputation, only up and only down. I would like to be able to create/use a different reputation system. Can anyone help? I would be grateful!

While we are waiting for this functionality in the core or as a plugin … Wasn’t there a plugin which showed as message to remind members to add certain profile information data? I remember something like that vaguely. But it also could have been for 3.x. Or is there an easy IF query we can put in a template to check whether an avatar image (including linked social media ones) exist?

Hello, We would like to colorize our code to respect a specific theme and for this we add the pluggin codesnippet to ckeditor. The button is present but this does not work. With ipb 3 we had managed to use GeShi (also designing our own theme) but there nothing seems to work on this version 4. Could you help us?

I have created a few groups with multiple products within them. I know how to disable individual products, but how do I disable entire groups/categories? It's only giving me the option to delete them and I don't want to have to re-do all of my work, but I don't want them showing in the store right now.

I can see enable utf8mb4, which I assume converts utf8 to utf8mb4?? How long will it take to convert a 5gb database?
