I'd like to modify the sign up page to say Email Address - Please use the same email address as you used on x to ensure you can access the restricted forums. Can anyone point me in the right direction of which php/html files these assets are generated from? I can figure it out from there.

Just a question, I wonder if it would be possible to hide tags ( but not prefix ) from the grid that shows the topics in the forums. It's cluttered many times and hard to read. Some of my regulars have complained about that. They don't have any problems when reading a particular topic, but the forum grid with all topics seems to be more than some of them can handle. I think they have a point since some topics have more than 12 tags,. I wonder if I could hide them using a CSS instructions or it would require to create a new plugin. Thanks in advance.

Hi friends! I make now application, which should work on 4.1.19 version of IPS. This app will deploy before production will upgrade to 4.2. And i want for make this app working on two versions. All code inside worked now well on both versions, but i need to log member info (ip address and useragent). In 4.2 it must get from Devices, which are not present in 4.1. So my question is: how can i get current version from code for make right logic for each of that versions? Something like \IPS\Settings:i()->current_ips_version.. ) or any. Couldn't find by himself good source of that. upd. found it \IPS\Application::load('core')->version thanks for me)

I really really need this. I currently have about 30 pages of validating members from over the years that I want to just bulk delete I dont' want to sit and individually click to delete each one as that's way too laborious a task and isn't the most streamlined process with the new version Is there a way to select all validating members and delete their accounts? This is very important to me and any help would be very much valued :-)

Hello, as I type this, I have requested my web host to make a copy of my site in another server to start testing a full upgrade from 3.4.5 to 4.x Once that's done, and before I upgrade. I imagine that editing config file and images url pattern is the first thing. However, I'm wondering if there's anything else I should do when running two almost identical 3.4 sites with two almost identical databases respectively. What happens with things like email digests, nexus invoices, etc. Are they going to be sent from each site (therefore users will get things twice?) I don't want to bother them, so is there any settings from my live site that I should cha…

Hi guys, I'm not sure what these two lines are that are appearing in the title. They only seem to pop up when I'm away from the page, I assume it has something to do with the recent topics reloading / some sort of alert. I'd like to know why it happens & how I can change those lines. If anyone knows please let me know. So I just added the pages license to my ipb installation and have a new page in the nav bar "Home" How can I add a font awesome icon to it? I feel like there is some simple way that I am missing. When I share a link to my forum on Facebook, there is this message that always shows up and I cannot edit it out, "Sorry, you do not have permission for that!" It is really bad PR when I am trying to get people to come, not tell them they can't get in. Is there a way to edit this?

Over the past year we've been migrating a large site (hundreds of thousands of items in various sections) from a relatively unknown CMS to IPB, using an in house developer. The developer has built scripts to move the database fields across to the corresponding ipb fields, and we're almost at the end now. However, we've got one problem that is still causing issues. Even though all the data exists in the database, and is even there when one browses the relevant pages app, the items in the DB aren't being indexed into the caching (so they do not appear in some widgets and searches). Does anyone work with Stripe and third-party marketplace payouts? We currently use a PayPal merchant account with payouts, but are looking at Stripe as an alternative for various reasons. We are a digital art commissions community, and some artists are complaining about the PayPal payouts gateway. How easy is Stripe to get set up to accept payments and send payouts? Hi, I recently upgraded my community from 4.2.5 to 4.2.6 and this upgrade apparently brought a template change in sidebars (I understood that this was done for better advertisements management.) My sidebars do not include any ads, but do include custom blocks which I created from the Pages app, and added in the pages by using the "easy" block manager editor. The code of my custom block simply starts with an ipsBox wrapper and an <h3> title, which previously was as large as the whole sidebar. Now, they are wrapped in an additional ipsBox and ipsPad which creates a white padding around my custom block. I can edit my custom block code to remove the ipsB…

Yo! I read the Pages tutorials, and I'm gonna read them again, but I have very little practical experience in web design/development and I was hoping for some advice. I'm setting up a roleplay forum.. I have a database for character profiles, that members can submit an entry to. What I'd like to do is set up some sort of form that applies an HTML template that formats the character sheet. The basic idea is that I would have fields for things like class, race, magic spells, stuff like that - and in the text editor, the member would fill these fields out. Hi, We'd like to, when a post is reported, to show in the post (only to moderators and administrators, of course) that it was already reported, with a link to the report. OK so I want to start off my Blog correctly. I love the style and layout of IPS' own "blog" but as I go to replicate something similar I am reading that it actually doesn't even use their own Blog application. Is this a little disheartening for anyone? I had hoped that I could use the Blog app to achieve a similar result.
