Let's explain some situation: BadUser posts some bad posts Moderator1 see extremely bad post and give a warning with a posting restriction - 30 days Next, Moderator2 see old other bad post and give a second warning with a less posting restriction - 1 hour What we see after that? We see 1 day posting restriction and 30 days is gone away. In restriction list we see first and see date, when it's given and see time period for deactivate - 29 days. But in profile we have not see any restrictions - because it was rewrited by new one. I think it's not right logic. I have a landing page or Home Page, it has all it's own files already made, the js, fonts, css, all those folders that go with the page. How can I just upload them and set the main domain to point at this page then link to forums. I was in pages but i didn't see where to upload fonts and images all that just page html. I'm trying to upload all the files for the one page then use that page as my main page.

hey , just wanted to ask what could be the cause of members not getting Notifications ? This is reported to us and after looking at the settings nothing has changed. One member said something about Cookies on the site .. Any suggestions as to what to do ?

I have several members that have this option turned on in their profile and I even turned on for myself as well as my test member and yet no emails are being generated when a new forum topic is posted, can someone point me in the right direction on how I test this or what step I may be missing please? I Have setup the email settings (in settings - using smtp) and the Test email was sent just fine to me - so something is working, lol - but obviously I am missing a step somewhere. Appreciate it Eden

Can anybody tell me how to fix these problems and tighten up the spacing? I imagine that if I could set a default member title for those who have none and all new members, that would cure the double name. Just don't know how. I'd need to remove the membergroup text/line and lose a line of space above it. The location has no : or space after it. If I could just change the word and add a colon and space after it, that would be great. Longer locations would fit better with the shorter word too.

So I originally had my community installed in a subdirectory /forum/ but I wanna move it to my www root. What is the best way to do this, upload a fresh installation and use the existing database and reupload my theme and if possible, forum configuration? Or should I just copy the existing installation and move it over and modify the domain in conf_global? I'm assuming it's the second one but I wanna make sure.

This problem appears to be both in 4.2.4 and 4.2.6 after upgrading my community. Most comments in forum topics can be edited without any errors, but some - can't. Both users and admins cannot edit their own and other's comments. Rebuilding the cache had no effect. Comments look similar in database and can be found easily in forums_posts table by pid value. Anyone have met such error?

Where do I go to change the Tab's where it says Forum | Articles | Staff also part 2 Where do I change where it says Forums on the main forums, the header tag. just under where it has the little house and says Home. Also how to setup the forum where when someone replies to someone it auto notifies them, without them having to tick the little slider on, I'd rather them have to tick the notify slider off if they wish to not be notified of replies. Hello, Everyday my forum is bombed by spam bots that can easily bypass the registration process with email verification, captcha, question challenge, etc... (and yes, spam protection in adminCP is enabled). My users started to complain as if the forum is getting neglected and that's why we let so much spambots get in (they don't understand how a bot can bypass captcha, etc.. they just think that the moderation dont care or staff is not doing their job). Hi guys, So I'm aware there is a system in the admin panel to implement ads quickly. My issue is that my site disabled javascripts - adsense uses javascripts, so I'm not able to have them displayed on the site. Here's my implementation and result. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Hi, I have thousands of subforums, and I'm in the process of simulating an upgrade from 3.4 to 4.2 in a different server. Until 3.4 I had search engines as its own group, but I don't think there's a plugin now for doing that, so I will need to treat search engines the same as guests. I happen to have a few new plans too, like having some subscription memberships but I'd still like everyone to see the topics titles where they can see the forums (even if they cannot read the topics). I noticed after upgrade to 4.2 my forum is not available in frames anymore. The in-frame view is used in analytics systems (like Google Analytics) to show a heat map of clicks. Was it made intentionally? Why? How can I disable it? IPS Support can't answer my question so I hope anybody from IPS can comment this.

Im so use to a Cpannel, Is there a cpannel to my Cloud, where I can access the files, or upload my own custom files, such as custom landing page ect. other PHP Scripts. For my devops script to copy my production forum > test license forum I am looking for the following. I would like to take the test forum offline after transition. Does anyone know if there is a SQL query to disable this button? If I have that sorted, the only manual thing I need to do is to update the license with the -TESTINSTALL suffix in AdminCP. Thank you!

In 4.0 I had a choice to make no border on an uploaded image now since going to 4.1 I don't see that option and now by default it makes ones and it doesn't look nice how can I remove it?

Hi I'm creating a site on www.osrshub.com and I need someone who can help with with a news section on the homepage. Each news article will just be a link to a fourm post. I'd also like to somehow source control my theme somehow? I have the cloud plan but i need backups and stuff.
