Since upgrading to 4.2.7 there is a warning/notice displayed to the member that their profile needs completion. I have one custom profile field that does not need to be filled in. Is there a way to exclude this field so that if it is not filled in the member does not get that warning/notice? Thanks

Hello, does anyone know a way to remove a menu item for the mobile version. I tried using the IPS class for that in the menu item title fields itself, but that just makes it invisible, it does not remove the space it takes in the mobile menu.

So I recently just converted my community over from Xenforo to IPS. So naturally there were going to be a ton of redirects from the old URLs to the new URLS. And all that works fine. Initially for the first week or two I had the forums application set as the default - so thread URLS were https://mywebsite.com/topic/15-example-topic-name/ I then decided to change the default index application to the 'Our Picks' page (for displaying news) and I thought everything was fine until I started getting messages from Google Webmaster Tools saying there was an 'Index Coverage Issue' with over 1000 errors and that this could impact my search rankings! so I looked into it a…

Just upgraded to 4.2.7 from 4.1.9 and Matt's "Ye old post count" plugin does not appear to work anymore and my members are wanting that ID number back as we refer to that ID many times when a topic is very long so they can find the previous post easily. Anybody know of a fix or similar plugin? Thanks

Hi, I am still using version 3.4.5 because my host still needs to upgrade their php however, it is probably something simple b ut when I share a post from our forum to say Twitter for example the IPB icon appears instead of the topic image, (see attachment) can someone please advise why this is happening and what I need to do to fix the problem, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I want to enhance my email marketing, and therefore I'd like to honor members that have opted in for my email newsletters. Currently, there is no known implementation in the IPS suite to filter these members, is there? What I need to do is: move members (from specified user groups) that are opted in to the bulk email newsletter to a special group (-> this way, I can set special group permissions for other apps, like raffles, downloads... that don't support this functionality or authors not interested) check in irregular intervals (f.e. every ~3-7 days), if the members in the promoted user group still opted in to bulk mail, if not, then demote memb…

Not sure why I'm not able to access the peer 2 peer support forums despite my license having been renewed! But I'm having an issue. I want the 'Our Picks' page to be our homepage, but when I set it as the default module and System as the default app... for some reason the images above the top picks wont show on the homepage, yet they show just fine when i click on 'Our Picks' on the menu.... As posted here: @Matt said it was fixed in 4.2.5 but it quite clearly wasn't. Is there something I can change in the template files or something to get this working immediately until a fix has been implemented in a future update? Thanks

So I have a forum on my site full of RSS posts/threads that is updated almost by the minute and I still want this forum and its topics to be accessible for those who know the links (ie. via google who sign up to reply to them) so need them hidden - but, I dont want the RSS topics flooding my topic list in fluid view for members. So I thought this would just be a case of unticking the 'see forum' checkboxes in the forum/usergroup permissions for logged in members but the forum and its automated topics still show up in the fluid topic listings I know users can manually tick all the forums in the filter and leave that forum unticked, but is there a way I can do this b…

Hi there, If you are using Adsense in Member Only areas of your forum I'd love to hear from you! Here is my situation that I'm trying to get to to work. I'm selling tickets, Adult and Student and want to give a free shirt to the first 100 that buy a ticket. How do I setup the free shirts? I have a product for: Adult Ticket, Student Ticket, Shirts I have tried the following 1. Shirts are $100 and if you buy a ticket they become $0. The issue with that is they could buy 50 shirts for $0 instead of just one or however many tickets they purchased 2. Shirts are $0, but need to be associated with a ticket purchase.
