Recently in the last few weeks I'm getting this error "Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX0" when logging in to my board. I'm logged in but I get this error and it shows me as logged out until I go to the board from menu. But, if I refresh the error page I get this error "The CSRF protection key did not match. This may indicate a plugin or theme is out of date. Please contact technical support for more information." This happens on default theme and I havent installed any new addons after this error started. Anyone knows?

As one of the people still stuck on 3.4.9 for the foreseeable future I recently made some changes to the recaptcha.php plugin to update it to Google's new v2 API. I hope this will help alleviate the recently uptick in spam bots a bit, and will also ensure that reCAPTCHA continues to work after the old API is shut down in March. This was done in a bit of a rush so I can't guarantee that my code is perfect or free of bugs (so no warranty etc), but I thought I'd share my changes anyway. Hi all, After the changes facebook made recently, the facebook login wasn't working properly on my site. I fixed it by making some changes in facebook app's settings and it now works. The issue now, is that all the users that have signed up using the facebook login, don't have a profile picture. I have added the latest patch "Facebook profile photos broken" as well via the Admin panel, cleared the cache but the issue persists. My forum is: https://www.greeksinireland.com, the board version is 4.2.8 I would appreciate if someone has a suggestion or idea regarding what else I can do to fix this issue? Thank you in advance. Hello guys ! I just updated my board to IPB 4 from IPB 3.4 (yes, I know), and everything seems to be working, except one thing. When I click on some forums, they show as empty, and when I click on some posts, I'm being told the system wasn't able to find the element I was looking for (error code : 2S136/V). Is it due to the rebuilding of the messages that has been executing for 2 days now ? Thanks !

Hi, I've tried inserting both versions of the code (javascript and iframe) from Facebook Developers portal to include the Page Plugin as a block within the site. But either way when I do it, this is what I receive - A blank widget space which does show the same dimensions for what I selected in the settings (180 width x 220 height). Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas? Thanks!

Anyone else run into this issue. When clicking on the compose new message the editor isn't loading (as Pictured) This seems to only happen when there isn't already an instance of the editor loaded. So if you are creating a new thread, or go to the actual inbox and reply to a message it will load correctly. This seems to happen randomly on the forum I try all the normal stuff to clear it up. Clear cached data clear browser cache Clear cloudflare cache Reset default settings on the editor. Usually it ends with me submitting a ticket and it gets resolved quickly but no feedback as to what was the problem so i can prevent it…

I am seeing in my error logs an issue with maximum execution time. To correct this issue I set the max_execution_time in my php.ini file from 30 seconds, to the php 7 default, which is 90 seconds. I have verified that it updated and changed. However, I am still getting the following errors. It seems to be somehow set at 30 seconds somewhere in the scripts. Any ideas? Hello, While running a conversion from phpbb to ipb 4.3, I am getting path not found errors. I am assuming it's php is_dir() permission's related. I am running: Nginx and php-fpm 7.2 on centos 7. I have followed the tutorial here on setting up IPB on nginx and mariadb. I am running the conversion on a new server so I copied the old site over to the new server but the old site is not live. Both the old site and IPB site are using www-data as the php user. I have given this user readonly and execute rights to the old sites full path /srv/http/domain.com/phpbb/* using setfacl. Dear all, I am getting a 'driver error' after im trying to login into my admin panel. the error says: i have tried to repair the ibf_sessions table through phpmyadmin, but the results give: and i looked into the error cache: i can browse my site normally, but cannot get into my admin panel anymore. i need to edit something in my boardIndexTemplate i wish i could do that through ftp.. only way is admin panel? appreciate any help. thank you

Hey guys, So we have been put on "probation" by our email provider due to our users marking forum emails as spam. So what I need to do is turn off all email notifications for every user and then make a post letting them know that if they want those emails to turn them back on in their notification settings. Where can I do this? I've found the settings for changing the default notification settings, but not for current users? Thanks!

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to send a custom pre set message after purchasing a certain store item. The idea is to instead of me manually having to send the key/code, I would instead just stock up the store item with codes which would be set upon purchase. All of a sudden I'm getting a lot of these spam emails through the contact/forum. I've searched this forum and didn't see anything that addresses this. And I've also looked and can't find a way to block them. Thanks

I use a custom wrapper on some of my pages. It's only slightly modified; it's the globalTemplate with a container removed so that my content can go full width. In my regular globalTemplate I've just added {template="guestTermsBar" if="!\IPS\Member::loggedIn()->member_id and \IPS\Settings::i()->guest_terms_bar" app="core" group="global" params="base64_encode( \IPS\Settings::i()->base_url )"} so that I get my cookie consent. It's working as it should. But when I go to the modified one and do the same thing, the terms bar isn't appearing on the appropriate pages. What am I missing? Since upgrading to v4 (.2.8) from v 3, some months ago we've been having regular duplicate and triplicate or more topics being posted - they are identical, and don't seem to have a pattern. Initially we wrote it down to fat finger and multiple pressing, but it happens very frequently and even with mods who say they didn't do this. I activated flood control but I believe this only affects posts within topics, as it doesn't appear to have reduced the incidences of these multiple topics. Has anyone else experienced, or have any ideas?
