Hi all I'm doing some housekeeping in different areas of one of my forums, and there is one section which has a lot of really old topics causing clutter, which I'd like to remove from the forum. I can't find a way that I can either easily export these or delete them, but I'm probably being a bit stupid as I'm sure there must be a means of doing this sort of tidying easily? How do I make below page has home page which is through Pages? Dear developers! When localizing the strings from the new platform version, we faced a possible problem. It seems to us that the stings "Opt Out" (src\*.xml.core.lang.xml.language.core.updates_consent_enabled.0) and "Opt In" (src\*.xml.core.lang.xml.language.core.updates_consent_disabled.0) need to be used one instead of the other ('Opt out' instead of 'Opt in' and 'Opt in' instead of 'Opt out') because their current descriptions do not correspond to them . Please let us know if we are right.

When changing hosts or servers what needs to be migrated to the new server and how and what steps need to be followed for it to work properly? Doing a quick test run and its not working... Steps followed: -Using cpanel on old server did a full backup using the backup wizard which was ftp'd to new server -Extracted the backup public_html into the new server same exact location -Backed up the original DB using cpanel database backup wizard. -Restored DB backup into new server DB and added same user/password combo -Edited conf_global.php to reflect new http location which is just an ip address for now since testing -Both old and new …

I'm using a Pages database to integrate with CloudFlare so our clients can make simple edits to their DNS. All of that is working great. Right now I have the title field hidden from all groups. It defaults to "DNS update in progress" so that the user doesn't need to enter anything when creating an entry, and I'm updating that title field with data I get from the CloudFlare API response (to something like [A] record.domain.com => 192.168.1.1) My problem is that the URL slug doesn't update when the title updates, so it's always something like /dns-update-in-progres-r15/... after upgrading to 4.3.2 the bug mentioned and reported via a ticket below has got worse on one of my sites https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/445416-major-43-bug-calendar-non-summer-months-week-day-view/ now it seems that it is now a year around error If upgraded to 4.3.2 check your weekly and daily views On mine and another site it looks like today is being reported as the 10th and all todays events (fridays) are now being shown on tomorrows {saturdays} I have had to temp close my site and put another ticket in If it is as it seems then am finding it hard to understand how this version got released

Unfortunately for me, Downloads doesn't appear to allow admins to specify that a category is a container, which is what I would like to have, so that my related sorts of Downloads (Official Documentation, Educational Material etc) are all placed under the same umbrella. I don't have any intention of uploading to the parent category itself; I just want to treat it as a container which displays a feed of the latest files in its subcategories. The page, unfortunately, has a great big message on it which I don't want to be there. When using the Invision cloud platform, what service do most people use in order to maintain email hosting for their domain name? What's the typical cost? I'm currently continuing to use the webhost where I used to self-host IPB. The cost for $5 USD/mth. That seems very reasonable to me, but I am very curious about options and other solutions.

I need to personalise my output in a database template depending on whether a particular category is being displayed. I'm fine doing that with the Category Index template set because the index template contains the attribute $categories. Great! Likewise, I could do it in the Listing template set because categoryHeader also contains the variable. Unfortunately, I need to place my code specifically in categoryTable, which doesn't have $categories as an attribute. What do I need to do within that categoryTable to be able to reference the category? Once I'm able to do that, I'll be able to add a check to print some conditional code.

We have just upgraded to 4.3 and the activity streams aren't showing new posts even though some have been made in existing topics. The topics are showing in the feed as not being updates for the past 12 hours. We have rebuilt the indexes twice now and no change. Have submitted a support ticket to IPS but thought I would ask here also Thanks

Hi, When trying to add another Invision community as a login method, it seems there is a bug: the Client Identifier and Client Secret fields are missing from the screen. Here it is: So, when I try to save the details, I get an error: "The provider is not responding as expected. Check the application settings are correct and you have registered the correct Redirect URI.". The message seems logical, as I'm not able to set the Client Identifier and Secret… It seems like it's a bug? Hi there, we are still running a ip board 3.4.x and we want to migrate soon to 4.x Anyway we wanted to display cookie notices to the users in the old board and I downloaded Cookie Notice 3.0.5 and tried to install the hook. The installation gives no error message, but somehow the hook does not show up properly. See attached image. In the lower part of the attached image you can see (above the line "Contact form - Bottom link"), that there was a hook added today at 7:15, but there is no title and no fields filled, when you edit the properties. On the download page it said "Compatible: 4.2". Does that mean, that it is not downward compatible to 3.x? …

Hi there, I'm migrating from IPS Connect (IPS 4.2.x) to OAuth (4.3.x). With IPS Connect, there was a field "ipsconnect_id" on the Members table to know on the slave installation to which member it was connected to on the master installation. I notice that this field is gone with IPS 4.3. So, how can we know, on the slave installation, to which member on the Master installation a member is connected to? Thank you!

Guys, I am currently on IPS 4.1.19.4 and preparing to upgrade to IPS 4.3.3 this evening. I have already done the following: 1. Downloaded backup copies of my root folder AND database. 2. Downloaded IPS 4.3.x compatible versions of all my plugins What other housekeeping tasks should I do before starting the update process? Should I reset ALL templates to their stock versions, as well as disabling/uninstalling all plugins beforehand as well? Thanks for any suggestions and tips!

Hi! We have an issue in one of our forums, where on a post it fx. says "Written 31 minutes ago"(translated from Danish), but when you hover the same text with the mouse you get a date and time popup that is 2 hours ahead of the actual time in Denmark. So there seem to be a timezone issue. It seems like something that has occurred after having updating to one of the latest stable forum releases(4.3.0-4.3.2). I had the same kind of issue - the other day - when pulling a post's date using the REST-api.
