Hello, I'am confiiguring my web page on IPS 4.3.0 and everything works fine, but when i install the videobox application it gives me a http 500 error. If i disable the videobox app, the website works perfectly fine. Any ideas?

Hello, I am having an issue with profile completion. I already have 2 other ones and I try to create a new one in which uploading a profile pic is required. Hello people, I am trying to setup OAuth right now, but having some trouble with it. My setup : One IPB forum, version 4.3, on the subdomain forum.xxx.com (with SSL). One Symfony website, on the subdomain www.xxx.com (with SSL). I want my users to be able to login on my Symfony website using their IPB credentials. So far, it was working seamlessly with IPSConnect. People could access a login page on the Symfony website, enter their IPB credentials there, and be logged in: everything was working fine. With OAuth, things are a bit different. I believe there are bots trying to upload things into my downloads section. I get about 30 of the below emails sent to me daily and it's starting to get annoying. Hey. I'm terrible with cSS or html. In one of my communities I need to hide the forum description text. I'm not talking about the main page with categories etc, but the forum page, for example this one: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/497-peer-to-peer-technical-support/ So this text would not be visible. Can I use CSS to hide this ? or I have to modify the template. If so, can someone help me to know what lines of code to remove ? ?? ( I'm using the standard template )

Still at the old revision, and want to do the update, but worried about breaking stuff (which they always seem to do)... Issue at hand is that search results are all coming up empty - even after optimzing/rebuilding the search database... This was working previously (and there have been no system changes). Any suggestions on how to remedy?

Trying to get first installation running and no page except index is showing up. Every other link 404's. Have an .htaccess file and mod_rewrite enabled, use_friendly_urls is on, but nothing seems working. Is there a plugin that will take a non-square, uploaded record image and crop it into a square? In other words, I need the plugin to take the image and crop it's longest side to make it a square before it gets uploaded and saved to the server. After switching to SMTP method of sending mail, we frequently get 421 Timeout errors when sending mail. We switched on June 1 from using PHP method and sendmail on the server, to SMTP direct. Both methods are using AWS SES as the primary mail server. Once we switched we get many "421 Timeout" and "Mail could not be sent" errors. We send about 600 mails per day, well below the limits imposed by SES. The full logs in the IPS Email Logging are not much help unfortunately, containing only simple or sometimes no information: We can resend the mails in the Error Log and they seem to send without issue, not bouncing or having the same timeout is…

I have also decided to prune away any members who have not logged in for the past three years. I sent out an email to all members advising them that they need to login to the site if they want to keep their accounts. I have seen immediately a bunch of old accounts logging in on my online users page, but when I do the search for members who have not logged in since a specified date there are many names I have seen active who are being reported by that search result as inactive. Obviously this is a bit of a problem. Am I missing something or could there be an issue with my version of the software (4.1.17.1)?

Hi i copied my files and DB to my testsite to give the upgrade another try. Unfortunately i run my site on SSL now I could fix the access to the main page via changing the url in conf_global.php But i can´t call the admin page or any login because it´s calling https all the time. Can someone point me in the right direction where to disable that. Thanks McLouis

I am the server admin, and am seeing this error in the IPB Admin: I have checked all server php.ini files, the root and site versions, and all are correctly set to display_errors = Off, yet I am still seeing this warning. Any ideas on how to fix this?
