Earlier this afternoon, one of our Admins was attempting to reorganize and create a new category to move a couple long-running discussion forums. After moving the second discussion forum under the newly created parent forum category, he checked the "user view" to make sure they appeared as desired. Once the home page loaded, the new category was no longer present and one of the discussion forums was missing. The second relocated discussion forum was visible and showed 17815 posts, but now with no parent assigned and when clicking into the forum none of those 17815 posts appear. Accessing the MySQL database directly, the forums_forums table still show…

Hello. Is there a problem with gallery blocks? I'm trying to add a gallery image feed trough Page Management but nothings happens. When inspecting the result, the image src isn't there: <li class="cGalleryWidget " data-lazyload="https://example.com/uploads/monthly_2018_05/small.1.jpg.14d58dfb6212d80e567122353f4b466c.jpg"> <img data-src="" alt="blah blah"> </li> The drag option works well. This happens with manual plugin block only. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to explicitly add the og:image property to all attachment images for the topic's parent post. I feel this is an important feature, despite most platforms scraping most the images already. I don't want to force a single sharer image for all my content, I would like the option to set unique images based on post attachments, and have the sharer image available when no attachments are set.

Hey! The error occur when i try to install the plugin. I am not too sure why or how, but i do not see the table in the DB either. I need some assistance, my forums is based on steam services, so having a steam login option would be very useful for many people. Thank you.

Hi all! We made a mistake with enabling the replacement of text to emoji, so that © this symbol became an emoji. We are trying to undo that for some of the image descriptions through an SQL query, and could use some help with this. We know it would likely be an update statement, but it get's tricky. We only want to replace this text: <span class="ipsEmoji">↔</span> With just the plain copyright symbol, ©. So it would probably be along the lines of: UPDATE `ips_gallery_images` SET image_description = '©' WHERE image_description = "<span class="ipsemoji">↔</span> I obviously know this is incorrect. Hi there, Has anyone else noticed this? We have a signature image size restriction of 800x200px But when using "Insert image from URL" to insert an Imgur image into the signature, the image appears into the Editor but upon clicking Save, we get this error: It seems IPS cannot retrieve the image dimensions from Imgur URLs with the image proxy enabled. Tried with various different Imgur URLs. If I try from other non-Imgur websites, the images load fine.

I've searched around the forum and it seems there used to be a thread that staff pointed to for instructions on what was needed for Lighttpd to handle friendly URLS -- http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/349943-htaccess-settings-what-would-they-be-for-lighttpd/#entry2186631 -- but that thread seems to be gone. Anyone have any suggestions? I searched a few threads and some seem outdated, others require additional mods that seem excessive.

Hello, I thought I would ask some of those in the know here about managed VPS services. I'm looking to move hosts because I cannot upgrade CentOS on my current server (and <7.x support will expire by 2020). I'm looking at KnownHost, which comes highly reviewed. I will ask them some questions of course, but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice on the following: LiteSpeed or Apache? I hear LiteSpeed outperforms Apache but are there any compatibility issues re: running PHP, MariaDB, Cpanel etc? Is there any way to ask a provider to provide an IP address or something for speed testing? I'm in Australia but am looking for a good managed VP…

Anyone here know of a way to limit the upgrade notice email to only once? I get an email ever single day until I actual upgrade the forum when ever there is an upgrade to be done. And that is freaking annoying! So yea, any ways to disable that or limit it to only a 1 time email?

Hi, Updated to 4.3.2 last week; since that time, members are reporting when posting remote images, rather than the image being displayed, a broken thumbnail appears. I've tested this and can replicate the error. My first thought was a custom theme issue, however the problem can be replicated with the default theme. Have I missed something obvious?

I have a serious issue that is affecting business. I opened a ticket for the issue and received a speedy response multiple times back and forth. Eventually, the ticket was escalated to Tier 3 support. Since it has been escalated I have heard nothing back, even when asking for any kind of update, like we are looking into this. It was escalated almost 10 days ago. Is this normal, maybe it slipped through the system somehow? I have no idea how else to contact anybody about the issue. Should I just start over with a new ticket? Any advice?
