I would like to change the group membership or award a badge to site members who complete all or nearly all of the custom fields I've added to their profile. I know IPS has a built-in rewards/point system. Is there a way I can evaluate solely the profile completeness and not include any points for posts or other activity? Thanks in advance!

Hello I spend long day today clearing this out with my lawyer who is GDPR specialist and there is one basic feature what is "must be" still missing: #1. During registration person must have option to confirm two check boxes. First of it if he allow marketing (and this one can be checked or not checked - it say if we can or not send him commercial emails) and secondary check box is that he agree privacy policy. If person not check privacy policy box this person can`t folow registration. Thats all. There can not be one button for register and confirm this way everything. GDPR/RODO say this clear that this information must be placed that way not in betwen long…

Hello, You probably already know that Google map API is going to ask some money for intense uses. I checked my APIs stats after this news and discovered something troubling: the calendar update for importation of icalendar flow is making more than 5000 calls to the geocoding api. Each 4 hours, this makes 150,000 calls / months, which of course completely explodes the future Google map free quotas. Do some other people here know this problem? The number of event to import is even far from the 5000, and even with deactivation of places this goes on the same rhythm and will prevent me to use google map after the 11 June... Why would this IPS need to do such amount …

Would it be possible to use Gallery's "New Images" block from the gallery home page elsewhere? Our users prefer the layout of the images there, where all are visible, rather than the scrolling "New Images Feed" widget. I don't like the new format where the info and discussion area is tot he right of the image. Is there a way to change it back to the previous format? Most of the images don't have any comments and it makes the image small. The Following box is also covering up the maximize button.

Hi, I've setup a dev enviroment and set IPB to dev mode, and have been trying to learn to create a plugin which sets a cookie with the users group ID. I'm really struggling with this and there appears to be no documentation: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/developing-plugins-and-applications/creating-plugins/ When I create a new plugin and select theme hook, it take me to a split screen where I can't edit anything and I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to do. Hi, I have an event coming up and want to have the main conversation point be a single thread on my boards. How much automation can I get to have new posts created in that thread triggered by actions elsewhere. I already use RSS/Atom feed to threat new threads, but can this be done to creat new posts within a thread. Can IFTTT be used to create a new post? This would be ideal as I could then have IFTTT follow certain hashtags blogs and accounts from various social platforms. Hello everyone. I am looking to use PaymentWall as my Payment Gateaway with Nexus. I noticed that PaymentWall has their own tutorial here: https://www.paymentwall.com/en/documentation/IP-Board/1760 However their Github have not been updated for over two years: https://github.com/paymentwall/module-ipboard Have anyone tried it on 4.3? Does it actually work? I am worried to break my site using it. Their tutorial is screenshots from 3.X - but they claim to support 4.X.. Which seems unlikely, with zero pdates on their Github for two years.

What do the numbers mean for Spam Score? I'll get a return from a member login from the core Spam software that states a member has returned a spam score of 1 Is 1 bad? What is the point range? 1 to 5? Thank you for any clarification.

Hi All, We are planning to add WordPress as our home page. Currently our website(IPB) is hosted on SiteGround with cpanel access. Now that cpanel has direct WordPress installation option. 1. We want to install WordPress in a subfolder like www.website.com/wp 2. Once we develop the home page we want to switch to www.website.com/wp to www.website.com and www.website.com to www.website.com/forum Can you guys suggest me best approach. Is it better to create a subdomain or install wp in the sub folder?

We've recently successfully updated a login handler from using IPSConnect to using the OAuth server built into IPS 4.3, but I've noticed that the lifetime of the 'long lived' refresh tokens of authorizations on our OAuth client is only about a week. When editing the OAuth client definition I can choose an access token token lifetime, but there doesn't seem to be an option for configuring the *refresh* token lifetime. Does anyone know if this is possible? I'd like users to not have to sign in again if they've not used our site for the last 7 days! Folks, I am stumped, I am trying to create a block, custom, with manual html. I am using common html columns code such as: <div class="row"> <div class="column"></div> <div class="column"></div> <div class="column"></div> </div> But my layout is shown as paragraphs, instead of the three column layout I would like for three content areas. I have tried various html elements, with manual html custom block, and nothing seems to work, can anyone tell me what step I am missing? Thanks for any help.

As of late, my server has been crashing and upon checking logs, it seems this is what’s causing the issue: /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/bin/php-cgi Since my server runs only IPS software, I was wondering what in IPS would cause these spikes in PHP processes that lead my server to crash.

I scoured my theme trying to edit this page only. But I cannot find how to do this. Here is what happened. AdSense says I am violating a policy. I have a Fishing web site and there is a classified section on it and one section is for hunting items. Here is the link if you want a look. http://fishingboard.thunderbayfishing.com/index.php?/classifieds/guns-ammo-and-bows/ What I want to do is remove the adsense ads from it but I have used the global template and if I remove the ads I lose them from every page!
