So about two years ago I recall importing about 300 records to a database via a spreadsheet. Don't recall how. Don't see options via IP Admin side? Maybe did it via phpMyAdmin.... but don't have a clue as to how I did it. lol. thanks!

Im looking for a add on for this function as a way to offer a quick exploration way for my members. It have to have groups settings, like permissions The concept is that simply by watching that slider see in a few second seconds the activities and topics of greatest interest for them (that's why the importance of being able to choose a slider for each group of members) Lets say: a guest enters my site. I would like him to see a large slider, very aesthetic, with some interesting links like "join us!", "outstanding topics", "activities", "testimonials", and so on

I'm desperate for some help. For the life of me, I can't get Amazon s3 to connect with my site. I get error 403. I looked it up and the error has to do with the access key. I copied and pasted the keys so I don't know what is going. I watched the video from the guides, that is tuff to follow since Amazon seems to have changed things around a bit.

HI, I am going to start introducing ads into my forums. Whats the best way of doing this? Is it built into the suite or do I need a plugin? Can I change the ad displayed depending on user group? and what about geographical location? i.e. Can I show a UK webstore to UK users and a US one to US users? I had a moderator purchase a subscription and it replaced their mod status with the subscriber status. How can I prevent this from happening or do I manually have to add moderator as a secondary group? Also, how can I make both group images show up when they post or in their profile?

Hello I have enabled elasticsearch on my board. Everything is working fine except the view updates task. Hello, I'd like to give members a change to upgrade to a 'Vendor' group but at a cost with different settings such as more PM space, etc. What is the best solution to do this? I've seen it done on phpbb and vbulletin but never on Invision. Any help would be appreciated .

Hey Guys, so I am having a bit of a problem at the moment as I'd like to specify an image that i am using inline a certain database record as the og:image meta thingy for facebook. IPS supports to have the record image to be the og:image meta tag in the header by default, but this is not what I need right now. Unfortunately Facebook only crawls within the header for og:image meta tags so an inline meta tag is getting ignored. Do you guys have a good idea on how to approach this issue? Thanks -Daniel

If its not, what is the require path to use so I can store the DB info in a file that can be accessed by the block. To PM one person you can do /messenger/compose/?to=1 this would pre-populate the "To" box with the username of the person with id number 1. Is it possible to pre-populate more than one name? e.g. send a message to id 1,2 and 3 for example. This might be really simple but I can't find the answer.

My programming limitations are getting in the way. I know what I want to achieve, I believe I know the approach to take, but I don't know how to code it. Several of my databases use the same record display. They also happen to have identical fields with similar keys. Those field keys take the form database-determined-prefix_key-name. Some examples: articles_definitions, readers_definitions, places_definitions. In a Pages database I'm using the member field to indicate which member the record refers to. (It's something like a staff directory.) I would like to use that field to display the member's profile picture. I know that $field_33 will give me the member_id. I also know that {template="userPhoto" app="core" group="global" params="$row->author()", 'tiny', $row->warningRef()"} will generate the profile picture complete with profile appearing on hover etc. Rather than $row->author() (which is always me), I want to use $field_33. Hi all, After reading some of the threads on here I moved from Memcached to Redis. Would love to hear what you have setup for the overall configurations? Currently using MySQL Database as the Data Storage Method but wasn't sure if this was best.
