Hi, my IPS Community doesn't offer me the update to IPS 4.4.1. Yesterday it was available. Checking for updates doesn't change the result. Has anyone the same problem? EDIT: I think this is a side effect of the security patch for 4.3.6

Are posting before registering the same as posting without registering? Spammers have postet at my forums as guests without registering. And I cannot remove their posts.

Hello. I would like to use stars for the Ranks. However, you can add multiple pips, but only 1 image. So I can't use 2 stars for a higher rank as I only have 1 star images. For Admins and mods I have stars in another color. Is there a way to change the default black rond pip to some other image like a star? If yes, where can I find it? I've search the forums and found something about bullet_black.png but that was some years ago and does not exist anymore.

Hi, we purchased the keywords application and installed it on 4.3. It's an extremely useful application especially for a very large forum such as ours which specialises in giving advice to thousands of people. It says a huge amount of repetition. We have used a type of keyword system for more than 10 years. we've just tried upgrading our test site to 4.4 and it seems that there is an incompatibility and we are getting the following error message. I've been waiting for a member of my community to log back in but maybe someone here can help me out with this problem. I was running 4.2.3 (before I upgraded yesterday to 4.4.1). Anyways, a new registered member had validated his account, tried posting, and every time he posted a message or created a new topic, everything he posted would be marked as "moderator approval needed". Despite some heavy investigating, I couldn't figure out why that was happening. This member had no penalties on his account, he had never been warned and had no account restrictions. I even created an alternate account for him and the same issue kept presenting its ugly head. No matter what …

Hey all! Wondering if anyone else has come across this/solved it since upgrading to 4.4! Whenever status updates are posted, the new update appears with the username, time of post, and replies can be posted---but the actual content doesn't display. It's just an empty div. This happens when creating the status update from the create menu, the user profile, and the recent status updates block. It occurs on all themes, including the default theme with no modifications. Status updates made prior to the upgrade to 4.4 still display as normal. Any ideas?

In 4.3 if I add a logo image to the Terms & Privacy Policy settings form, this image will display fine on the terms and policy pages. In 4.4 no image is shown. Check for updates are not working. Currently on 4.3.6 and waiting for it to give me the update with the link to update, but not showing any updates due. Ideally I dont want to ftp all the files up as a bit of a drag. Any ideas how I can get it to start an update via the upgrade installer or is the Invision update server down?

When a guest submits a new Forum topic or comment. The guests are diverted to the account registration page to create an account before their posts are submitted and displayed on the board. When a guest submits a new Pages database record post, the account registration page is not shown and the guest's post is summited and shown without the guest creating an account. Is this the normal procedure for when a guest submits a Pages database record in 4.4?

Hi. I have created a bunch of pages for my tutorial site and I've made them as html pages without the suite wrapper. I now realize there's no way for my members to log out without returning to the forum pages. How can I add the logout drop down like I'm seeing right now in the top right hand corner of this page? Is there a block? Or can someone tell me how to code for that? Thanks, KL

Since updating to 4.4 (and 4.4.1 since), been having a problem on my forums where users can't create or update a post if it contains more than a few external links. The more of them there are the longer it takes to go through. If there are 4 or 5 external links in the post, it goes to timeout error after a long wait. I've tried disabling all plugins and doing it from the default theme with no luck and none of the setting changes I've tried from admin cp have helped either. Any ideas?

Hi, We are facing an issue here with the display of dates after upgrading to 4.0. See if you can help me. He have the problem both in Pages and in Forums.
