Hey guys, So this is my first Invision Community website and I'm stuck on permissions. So I'm trying to make it to where if you are NOT registered, you can only see limited tab on the top. Like the Home Button, Forums, Calendar, Downloads, etc. So my goal is to make it where if you are NOT logged into an account, you can't see some applications. But the second you register, they appear. I tried messing with the "Guest" permissions (Default Member I believe) and It didn't work, as well as a few other permissions. Hoping to see if anyone is beyond good at permissions willing to assist a noobie on this building. Thanks in advance! Andrew A.

I am not sure if I am imaging this, but years ago I thought I was able to mass delete users that had not logged in since a set date, but I don't seem able to find that functionality in 4.3.3. Is that something you can do by default within the ACP? In short, because of GDPR I want to mass delete all users who have not logged in for at least two years.

I'm currently upgrading my site from version 4.4.2 to version 4.4.6 Is it better to upgrade one version at a time, and let each one "bake in" for a couple days, or is it ok to just upgrade straight to the newest version?

Hi Guys - I'm close to switching from Google Ad manager to the built-in Advertisements app. The one feature stopping me from moving is the lack of reporting. I need to automatically run impression and click reports on advertisements and have them sent to advertisers each month. I don't see any way to do this in IPS. Question 1: Is there anyway to run reports that show the number of impressions and clicks an ad has received for a given time period? Question 2: Is there anyway to automate such a report and have it sent to a few email addresses per report?

Hi y'all, Hope this is the correct place to ask this question. I just purchased a license to ipb and we're excited to be moving from bbPress to IPB. We're used to using conditional fields from our old forum software and I was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin that adds conditional custom profile fields? Some of my members complain that sometimes image uploads fail with error 200. What makes the issue extremely annoying is that: - It is not confined to certain files, one time it can be one file, another time can be another. Trying the same file a few times helps from time to time, but not always - It is not confined to a single users, some of them have the issue. Hi. I'm planning on uploading a large number of photographs into the gallery, which have previously been hosted elsewhere. Is there a way to stop these images appearing in the latest gallery feeds/unread content sections - to avoid the duplication of old images?

Hi. I've found that thumbnails for the gallery are being dominated by the watermark, which is automatically applied when the images are uploaded. Is there a way to remove watermarks from thumbnails, or at least reduce their size? Many Thanks.

I have a member who is inactive and their email address is no longer valid. I would like to remove them from following topics and forums, but am not able to do so. They had signed up with FaceBook and that connection is no longer valid and I am not able to log in as them from the ACP. How can I remove them from following without deleting their account?

HI, I have setup an test url , All is working but the admin panel is not working properly. It's because of the js and css path in source is showing the main url and hence blocking to load js and css for test url admin due to cross origin load. The icons are not visible due to css missing and the clicks also not working properly due to js miss. Can you tell where I should check the js and css load url so that i make them to load from test url not from the main url. Thanks

In the Commerce part of the Rest API, you can obtain custom field values, but not the "key"? So it would return 1/0 bool, but it wouldn't have then which one it is? I.e, if i make ToS Button, and it's a bool. When I try to extract that from the invoice or whatever, on the REST API. The REST API would return 1/0, but it would have absolutely ZERO information on what that specific field is, and what the name of it is? IS there any way to get that? or is that simply the API lacking.

I have a member (Larry & Grace Heilman) and doing a "Search by Author" no matter what the search wording is will not find anything for them when they have 5000+ posts. I suspect it has to do with the (&) ampersand in their member name or a combination of more than one name? Is there a workaround when doing a search for members like this? Just upgraded to 4.4.6 and now I am getting 2-4 member validation emails sent when a member registers for my forum and they need admin validation. A new member requires admin validation I have "Yes - Every Occurrence" set in the admin notifications If I have the "Yes - once until addressed" I get no emails at all Why so many, am I missing something or is this a bug? Thanks

Currently on my site when you register for free, You become a Member. How do I change that. If someone registers for free I do not want them to have the full privileges of a member. I have a member group called Registered Guest that has more privileges than a guest but not the full privileges as a member. Thank you. Jeff (Too many options confuse me) Thompson
