Is anyone getting an error when looking at the Admin Notifications in the ACP? I keep getting a template error even on a fresh template. We have tried to update our Invision Community, but have experience issues with updating. This has occurred over multiple updates. When we attempt to update it, it will fail and we have to resort to updating manually. Can we please troubleshoot why this is the case? We'd like to have the update function fixed so we do not have to update Invision manually. In the past, support has stated it's a permissions problem. We can't find any indication of a file or directory with the wrong permissions and are reluctant to force all of the permissions open for security reasons.

I don't set limits on what people can upload. I am at about 42gb of images. I thought using image proxy would help with that. Here is my uploads folder, any chance some of these are older folder that should have been deleted in an upgrade? Hmm, I tried several times to upload a few png files and keep getting a -200 error.

Is there any way to assign a color to a club calendar? https://www.argogaming.org/calendar/2019/9/ All of my non-club calendars have colors and it makes it easier to discern what is what. But I cannot do the same with club calendars. For example, here I have my Meetings calendar in red, etc. Board Game Night, hosted by the Board Game Community, is the default black. Can I assign it a color somehow?

Hello, I've just upgraded my Invision to the latest version 4.4.6 from 4.3.5. (I'm using self-hosting server) All other things are working well, however, "Members" block for main-page is not working like before. Like a below image, color for each member's group are not representing correctly in "Members" block . Weird thing is that "Who's online" block is showing Group color normally like before but only "Members" block is not working well. I already tried to disable all other applications, plugins which are not included in IPS basic package and tried to use default IPS theme, but it had same error. any ideas? Thanks.

Hello guys, I wonder if there is any setting or code I could change to limit the number of shown blog articles in grid view? Might this be related to the theme? Right now I have two "main" articles (the most recent ones) sitting side by side on the very top of the grid view. Below that we have the smaller previews. Now I wanted to limit the count of the smaller previews to a 3x3 grid (3 articles in a row with 3 rows total) so that I have 11 articles on the blog page over all. I couldn't find any information in the help section nor could I find a setting to limit the number of shown articles. Thanks in advance, Phil

Hi all, At the moment, my <title> on each page is displaying in a format that looks like this: Subpage - My Forum I was wondering if there is a way (preferably by changing the PHP expression or something via the ACP, so that I don't need to do it manually for each area in the future) for me to swap this <title> so that it displays the other way around, like so: My Forum - Subpage The only thing I have managed to via the template editor is this expression: <title>{expression="output.getTitle( $title )"}</title> But I have not been able to locate where it actually creates this title in order to change which way around it appears…

About Me \Member\About Me What is the purpose of the settings called About Me. About Me\Field Settings\Group\Personal Information. Personal Information comes up as default. I have from previous versions of the forum were the directories and files, which in my opinion is not needed. Here is their list: cache hooks interface ips_kernel lofiversion public 404error.php constants.php dav.php initdata.php Can you delete everything already? Current version 4.4.6.

We are getting a lot of spam mails via the Contact forum. So the IPS protection is not sufficient. So I would like to fall back to our old but usefull method by blocking or restricting ip's to the contact form. To be able to do this, it's needed to have the ip of the one using the contact forum send with the mail. I would like to know how this can be done, even if it means to make some hardcoded changes to some file. I'd rather not, but I less like spammers. Maybe put a code like this somewhere: $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'], Would be nice however if the ip could be added in a bit safer way without having to change files.

Hello, I think this might be a bug with the new updates after 4.4 (with the converter)? I am new to this software so I am still learning the ropes, but anyway, I previously tested converting my forum on a test install first (4.4.4) All went well. Then I did the real installation on the main folder and with that I installed 4.4.5 (which was the version that had been released when I went to install and convert the forum). And it didn't work. Tried again and same result. Thought it was something on my end. Installed 4.4.6 same thing. I have a bunch of banned users. Now I wonder how to mass-delete them? In the AdminCP, do I really have to manually click each and every X next to their profile names? This will take forever, if you have to go through several pages with said users. However I have not found any alternative, neither in the AdminCP nor via search on this site.

Using inspect i have used the below to hide the mobile fluid view dropdown menu. a.ipsButton.ipsButton_medium.ipsButton_link.ipsButton_fullWidth { display: none; } This seems to work but my concern is that this seems not very specific to that menu. Will the above hide anyting else or is there a more specific way to target that menu? For desktop you can use the below but that doesn't work for mobile. div#elFluidFormFilters { display: none; }

I'm seeing a broken image icon at the bottom left corner of my forum - at first I thought it was a Chrome extension, but I see it too in Firefox/Edge. In Chrome's Developer Tools I see the following: Specifically the two img tags and the iframe - did some ads get maliciously added to my site somehow? I use Google Analytics and Viglink, but Viglink I only use the link monetization. Is there any way I can add someone to the staff directory twice? A lot of my staff have multiple roles. For example, one of them is Director of Community and also the Fighting Games Community Council Chair. My Vice President is also Indie Games Community Council Chair.
