Just upgraded to 4.4.6 and now I am getting 2-4 member validation emails sent when a member registers for my forum and they need admin validation.

A new member requires admin validation

I have "Yes - Every Occurrence" set in the admin notifications

If I have the "Yes - once until addressed" I get no emails at all

Why so many, am I missing something or is this a bug?

Same here, but not consistently. 

If you are getting more than one identical email when a member registers I'd recommend submitting a ticket so we can investigate.

I did a couple of days ago, could you take a look at it Brandon? Ticket #1042750 - I had the same issue with 4.3 and support had to modify the member.php to fix it then.
