Without changing anything on my site, today I got a HTTP ERROR 500 on pages like discover and user profiles. If I switch to default style all is working fine. What can cause my custom style to f*** up suddenly without changing any thing on it? Hello guys, I purchased and try to implement the use of Template System app in my forums sections, but it seems so difficult to receive a right support, so bad, but I think that is part of ips community, and I don't have other way than posting here and hope to get some replies. 1. Is possible styling the field name? 2. Is possible make fields editable without edit the topic?

It looks like iCal feeds will not import reoccurring events from Google Calendar. I thought it was broken so I added a second iCal feed but it jut doubled up all of the unique events and still skipped all the reoccurring ones. Anyone know of a workaround or fix?

Hi everyone, I would like to know how to disable sending of bulk mail and notifications for anyone residing in a particular group. I know it is set already for banned members, but is it possible to set for other groups? If so, I am assuming this would be done at a code level rather than at an ACP level. Could someone please advise the best course of action to set this in motion.

Is there a way for a user to view and download all their posts? If it's not built-in, is there any paid plugin that has been written for this? Or is there a way even for a Moderator or Admin to do this for them?

Hello all, We're using IPS as our local Intranet, however we're trying to enable LDAP for our users, but entering all the details we believe to be correct (our IT Manager and our Network Administrators have tried different settings) and none are allowing us to setup this login method successfully. The only error we're getting is "login_ldap_err". There is nothing in the error logs/system logs, and i've tried getting support from IPS but due to it being localised on our network, it isn't supported. However I'm sure there are users which have managed to get this working. Wondered if we're able to have some assistance to get it setup, even if we had examples to go …

I have an application for membership. If/when someone signs up via Facebook, it bypasses that step. Is there a way to allow members to login via Facebook, but require newbies to fill out my application/profile fields?

Hi everyone, Just wondering if it is possible to stop bulk emails from sending unless triggered by a cron job. For example, we have over 1500 members, but our hosting provider has a limit of 500 emails per hour. How, if at all, can I set it up so I trigger 100 emails every 15-20 minutes? I'm looking at options of reducing the number of members who actually receive bulk emails, but this would save me a lot of hassle down the track if things pick up and we get an influx of members.

A few months ago, I uploaded a 640M video to my site - no problem whatsoever. Today I am trying to upload 127M video - after the upload process is completed, an error (-200) occurs. All possible settings are unlimited. No errors entries in system logs. Max file size uploads and max posting size, in init php on server are 1250M. Free Disk Space - Enough, more then 100G I use PHP 7.3.9 Any idea? PS. To attach a video to a topic in Page with database is my request, but in forum topic is the same.

I have members complaining that the "Sort By" function is not working after I updated to 4.4.6 and others that say it works just fine (including me). Anybody having this problem also? Here is what they say-- Menu Bar: Search; Member Search tab; Search Members -> shows list of all members alphabetically starting with '_Jim_'; Sort By (select any option) -> returns to the Menu Bar: Search screen. The 'Sort By' function was working for me until your most recent update.

Hi Community! I have something I'm working on and have been trying to find the best way to do it. So I'll give you what I need to do and maybe a second pair of eyes will come up with something I haven't thought of... I have a database of video entries. And separately - a list of categories. (They're not linked at the moment, the categories are just on paper, but the database already long time on the website). Each video needs to be categorized. Hi, we are looking for possibility to promote content from public (and ideally open) clubs in our community. The possibilities out of the box do not work: custom activity streams do not allow to select club content RSS does not include clubs either block with new topics do not show topics from clubs (unless we allow ALL forums) Are there other possibilities out of the box to display content of the clubs in the community? Anyone know a way for me to show latest POSTS (no TOPICS list needed since the club forum shows that already) on the sidebar of a particular club that won't show up elsewhere as in other clubs or even the main forum? The club has to remain OPEN so that the pages show up on Google searches and advertising to non-member readers continues. Thanks in advance. Hi, after I upgraded my site to 4.4.3(I think its from this update) a few months ago where they changed the pages premissions, Admins on my site with limited premissions to pages couldn't manage the databases anymore, Before they could manage record and publish records from the AdminCP, Now the options doesn't show on the panel and when I give them unrestricted access to all the settings they can manage these databases. On the admin premissions they have everything for Pages: Am I missing something? Edit: They have access to these pages only if I send them direct link to the page, it doesnt show on then menus. I am looking for a way so that members can see the status of their report. A community that I am part of his something like this (click here) It shows that status of their report such as the report ID, how log ago they reported it and if it was resolved or not. Hey guys, So this is my first Invision Community website and I'm stuck on permissions. So I'm trying to make it to where if you are NOT registered, you can only see limited tab on the top. Like the Home Button, Forums, Calendar, Downloads, etc. So my goal is to make it where if you are NOT logged into an account, you can't see some applications. But the second you register, they appear. I tried messing with the "Guest" permissions (Default Member I believe) and It didn't work, as well as a few other permissions. Hoping to see if anyone is beyond good at permissions willing to assist a noobie on this building. Thanks in advance! Andrew A.

I am not sure if I am imaging this, but years ago I thought I was able to mass delete users that had not logged in since a set date, but I don't seem able to find that functionality in 4.3.3. Is that something you can do by default within the ACP? In short, because of GDPR I want to mass delete all users who have not logged in for at least two years.

EDIT: Latest issue: Hi im getting an error when trying to view a thread [[Template forums/front/topics/topic is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date.
