  3. Add See Topics on permissions management page,let guests can see the topics list,if interested in a topic,click topic to prompt message:You need to login to view
  4. The "button" to post anonymously does not always appear. I made sure it's enabled for all, but only Admin can see the button. I'll give you admin access to my forum.
  5. I did try to use this way, but it didn't work -- I created a user with an account name in the Mandarin Chinese language, not an account with an English name. I would just wait for your plugin update. Thank you.
  6. I just purchased and experience the same issue. Hope this gets resolved as soon as possible. Anonymous posting is interesting and useful.
  7. reCAPTCHA banned in China. Solution: You may try recaptcha.net. It's offical and accessible from China. Just change https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?render=explicit to https://recaptcha.net/recaptcha/api.js?render=explicit in front end, and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/siteverify to https://recaptcha.net/recaptcha/api/siteverify in back end, and it should work as expected. I want to replace ALL of them, and there are twenty of them in different files, as I see them using this command line: find . -type f -exec grep "www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js" '{}' \; -print Help needed: what is the proper command line using find, sed or perl to replace string1 with string2 in all subfolders and files, especially when these strings have "/" in them?
  8. How to target the footer links? I wish to change the footer links color in the specific page. I'm able to just change the background image for a specific forum (say pageid=6): [data-pageapp="forums"][data-pagecontroller="forums"][data-pageid="6"] {background: url({resource="Seven Planets.jpg" app="forums" location="front"}) no-repeat center top scroll #000; height: 100%; background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center top;background-blend-mode:screen; background-size: cover; } How to change the footer links color for just that page? I tried words like footerlinks, elfooterlinks, navlang, but none of them worked.
  9. Thank you. It finally worked out (by not specifying anything further after targeting index): [data-pageapp="forums"][data-pagecontroller="index"] {background: url({resource="Seven Planets.jpg" app="forums" location="front"}) no-repeat center top scroll #000; height: 100%; background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center top;background-blend-mode:screen; background-size: cover; }
  10. Thank you. It works. Basically, in ACP forum settings, I need to go into each forum and manually set a theme for every forum (and this overrides the site-wide default theme that would be applied in that forum). It creates additional themes in the Theme menu, which is annoying. Every forum has a number. May I use CSS to target specific forum to achieve the same goal, and thereby not create additional themes?
  11. Thank you. I'll test it out and see how it works and will report here.
  12. I'm able to target the header and make a gradient shift for two colors: #ipsLayout_header>Header{background: linear-gradient(#3e6eb2, #144580)} I'm able to target the whole background: body{background: url({resource="whatevername.jpg" app="forums" location="front"}) no-repeat center top scroll #000; height: 100%; background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center top; background-blend-mode:screen; background-size: cover; } I am unable to target JUST the home/index page (but not the sub-forum pages). I tried combinations of #ipsLayout_body, Home, container, contentArea, content, etc. to no avail, because these words appear in every page. I simply couldn't target the index page alone. Could anyone help?

    That's because most Chinese people only know Discuz; they haven't heard about IPS or even Xenforo. In their world, forum software means either Discuz or phpwind. Given this situation, there's no demand and developers wouldn't have the incentive to supply.

    Some ideas: (Force or pop-up suggest) to follow your WeChat official account (or add your WeChat as a contact) to access forums (or a specific forum).
  15. Thank you, bfarber! Following your recommendation, I googled "AllowOverrides enabled," read a few articles and resolved the issue.
