I've randomly started getting 504 timeouts attempting to access any part of my forum Admin Panel, increasing my PHP time outs to 300 I finally managed to login but it's extremely slow. I have looked for an addon, which would mandate that a user must be a member for x-amount of days before they can post in a specific forum and couldn't find one. Any ideas on this?

Is there a way to show subscriptions in a store, like products? I also don't understand the difference between subscriptions and products, it looks like by creating a product you can set it to act exactly as a subscription would - so what really differentiates these?

Hello, I finally got my forum updated and have now commerce. I have a couple of questions that I hope someone will be able to answer. When a member purchases a subscription, I don't get a confirmation e-mail from PayPal as I used to do when I used the subscription manager. How can I change that? Is it possible to remove the lines, so members don't have to put in their address, when they subscribe? One member did manage to subscribe without paying. Is there some loop whole I should be aware off? Thank you

Hi Guys - Many of my users, including myself, who use iOS devices must click / tap a link on my site twice for it to open. For example, when browsing the activity stream, if I tap on a topic nothing happens until I tap on it a second time. This drives my community nuts. Any idea what's going on?

Steps: • Through my host's cPanel I enabled LetsEncrypt successfully. • My site uses Cloudflare, so I also had to enable SSL in Cloudflare. • Now that that's finally all set up, I'm getting 2 new errors. _____/ FIRST I am unable to embed images in posts. If I paste an image link into the ckeditor, 1 of 2 things will happen, I don't know what causes it to be which one. 1) Returns an error at the bottom of the text editing area: Unable to embed image unknown error. 2) Returns the following at the bottom of the text editing area: Pasted as rich text. As an admin with full permissions I cannot change my primary group. The only option I have is Administrator. I have added Admin as my secondary in hopes it would allow me to change my primary but no success.

Hey there, Is it possible to remove every member from whatever secondary group they may be in? I'm finding that if they join my subscription (ad free), they may still see ads because some belong to a secondary group they were placed in ages ago before this (as a result, they still see ads as a premium subscriber). Not sure what the best method is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to modify my Guest Sign Up Widget to only show the Facebook sign in option, but still keep all of my current sign in options (~5) on the regular sign in page. Does anyone know how I can comment out some of the options from appearing in the widget?

Right now I have my IPB install tucked away in a /community subdirectory. This makes for some slightly awkward URLS like domain.com/community/blogs and domain.com/community/store I would like to move IPB into our root domain directory, but I have my PHP website that is separate. I don't want to use IPB for my main website, because the site does exactly what I want and loads faster than a CMS system would. How can I make it so navigating to domain.com or domain.com/index.php will show my own custom site, but domain.com/blogs or domain.com/forums will show IPB?

Hi Guys - The Duplicates app we use is sending out thousands of emails per minute, causing Amazon SES to pause our account. Is it possible to clear the email queue of all the emails waiting to be sent? I disabled the plugin, but the emails are still coming!

I want the system to promote members to different groups based on the amount of Reputation they get (the +1 for "liking" someone's reply) The more Reputation you have, the hotter you are 😏 Spark 0-9 Reputation score Ember 10 Reputation score Flame 50 Reputation score There are instances I want to manually move a member from Spark to Ember for instance. Here is what's going on. JPG image before upload: 285kb Uploaded: 83kb The quality is really bad, looks too compressed and pixelated. ----------------------------------------------- PNG image before upload: 263kb Uploaded: 296kb This image looks just as clear online as it does on my PC. Is there something built into IPS that compresses JPG images only? Thank to anyone that has some info about this.

Hello, I was supposed to have my forum updated by the software people, but they keep asking me to do some technical things and I couldn't figure it out and then the world went crazy and my son and I both got sick, so I didn't get it done yet. Now my forum is down for some reason and the software people don't offer support, because it's old software, but they did suggest to look in the cache/sql folder. I just don't know how to do that. Hey folks, This is a first for us. Basically our e-mail got hijacked and our forum is spamming endlessly to random e-mails from around the world. We checked out the something is wrong page to contact support and there is this optional upgrade: " prevents spam from being sent via the email sharer and resolves an issue with forums being hidden " Now I'm really hoping this event correlates to this patch but we've already exhausted our 150k sending limit for the month so this has really put a hindrance on our domain name. How do we clear the cron or backlog of e-mails? Our forum is still trying to send e-mails every second, whoever hijacked this must have…

Hi guys, is there any way to change the og_graph for facebook (and so on)? I don't have any options in the backend to change it, or am I blind? I think in the past it was possible to upload the graphic in the backend, but I haven't this point anymore (or I can't find it ;) ) Best wishes Claudi

Hello, I'm hoping someone could give me some guidance or advice please. I'm wanting to add some menu items here - which redirect to the odd forum. The issue I'm having is once setup on the nav bar I don't want members to see the forums where forums are usually placed when created. I've tried messing with forum and category permissions but had no luck.. like I tried making it so the forum couldn't directly be seen on the site but if you clicked the link on the nav bar it would take you inside the invisible forum. Is there away around this?

When someone buys a product X in the store I want to be able to redirect them to a custom Thank You page. Is there any way that can be done? I'd like to set up a "thank you" page with some tracking, add a Facebook pixel, etc... And I need that for one specific product. And not the other products in the store. Any ideas?
