Articles from my databases are not showing up on Google, is there something I've not configured? I have one database that creates a forum topic, and the forum topics show up in Google fine but the article page just doesn't get indexed at all?

I have two simple questions about advertisements. How are the advertisements sorted in the Advertisements screen in the admin page? They don't seem to be in any real order. You can choose a sort order, but every time the page reloads, that's gone, and the ads appear to be in no discernible order. It's not by any of the columns, it's not by the database row ID, etc. How are they sorted? Can this be manipulated so that they show up in a certain order all the time (when a column header isn't selected)? I found the titles of the ads in core_sys_lang_words, but there are also eight older ads (the titles for them) that I'm no longer using still there. Can those rows…

I have a user who asked for their username to be changed as their registration name gave away too much personal info. I did so, but I understand there is an issue whereby the old name still shows up in previous threads where that user was quoted and cannot be directly edited. Is there any way to rebuild a topic so that the quotes use the newer updated username?

Does the new `downloads/files/{id}/download` endpoint work with S3 storage? Currently any files uploaded to Downloads that are stored in S3 need an access token created before it can be downloaded by a user. The existing endpoint `GET downloads/files/{id}` does not provide a proper URL to download from as S3 gives "AccessDenied". Will the new endpoint provide a proper URL to actually be able to download the file from?

I've reduced .ipsDataItem on previous versions as its been far too big on mobile. I did it by doing this .ipsDataItem { padding: 13px 10px 13px 10px; } I noticed on 4.5 I can't do this anymore, but now as the spacing is way too big on desktop as well now I will need to do the same. How do I do it? I assume its the padding in this, but what does the var var(--sp-3); mean. Hello, Is it possible to have an <if> code in my template to stop showing ads after a user has been say, 5 posts in a day, then after 2359 it resets and the adverts are shown again until he's made another 5 posts for that day? I'm just thinking of reducing the adverts shown to members. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Every day I get some IP¨address who try lot of things like that : I think it will be good if we can configure some filter. If any address IP get more than 10 error code in 1 minute, she had to be ban directly for 1 week or something like that. I know there is CDN who can help for that, but I think it will be good to have it on IPB.

I have a rule set to send a private message when someone joins my forums. But I was hoping to also be able to send a pm when that person has their group changed. So when they are added the new group tag, they will get a separate private message. I would only want them to receive this once though, so I can't just send it to everyone in that group over and over. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hello, When I use "Resource Owner Password Credentials" for OAuth, it doesn't work and gives me the error "The provider is not responding as expected. Check the application settings are correct and you have registered the correct Redirect URI." error instead. The response from the API endpoint looks like this and I can confirm that the forum is accessing my API.

Hi, We would like to integrate Invision Board in our application. The user would login at our application and then they would click on the "Forum" link at our main application navbar and after which, we would like to redirect them to our forum and then sign them automatically. Ideally, we would also prefer to disable any email change, password, display name change, etc. functions at the forum, so everything related to the user information directly comes from our application. Do you have any resources and guidelines that would help us achieve this?

Site Hangs Up When Trying To Go To Next Page I have a site running 4.3.6 and it's on PHP 7.x that loads fine, however when you click the next page icon, the site hangs up with the "Loading" icon and that's it. There are other sites on the server running the same config. and they don't have this problem. I went to the site support section and clicked on "Something isn't working correctly," twice and that didn't help. I also disable all plugins and that didn't help either. Any ideas?

I have the full Invision Suite including the store where I wish to sell products here in Australia. My bank has a credit card facility called PayWay: https://www.payway.com.au/about I have an online store using CS-Cart and take credit card payments using the bank's PayWay system. When a person makes a payment for an invoice they are transferred to the bank's payway system along with the total amount, they enter their credit card details in the bank's PayWay screen and are then transferred back to my shopping cart store and I get a notification from payway that their payment is approved and from my store on what they purchased. Hey there, quick question. I set up group promotions as the following: However, a member messaged me asking why they have both Spark and Ember displaying in their profile. Spark is the Group he is in, however it shows his community reputation as Ember. I am unsure what to tell him or why it's doing that. By my logic, he should've been moved into the Ember category right? Because his reputation score is 38. But why is he still in Spark? I've always had trouble wrapping my head around group promotions for some reason, so any clarification would be awesome. 🙏

I have 2 types of mods on my board...Super Mods can moderate every forum but I also have some regular Mods that can only moderate 1 forum. How can I set these regular Mods up on IPS to only moderate 1 forum? I need a little refresher, LOL!
