Is it possible to "extract" the edit and report buttons from their new house under the three dot menu? I understand the want and need to declutter, but I personally and much of our users edit our posts quite a lot, and we also want our users to have as little work as possible needed in order to report a post. Thanks.

Seems this has been a problem for a long time, and it is bugging my members. Default theme unmodded. It was discussed here: I don't expect anyone is going to suddenly fix it now that I post about it again, but I would love to know if this remains an issue with 4.5.2 or if it has been fixed? Would make my upgrade faster if I know that things like this are not an issue anymore. Anyone had it on 4.4 and has gone to 4.5 without that issue anymore?

Hello, Our moderators are complaining that the option "Mark as solved" isn't being shown to them. It is only shown to administrators (and to the original poster). I looked into each individual moderator configuration and couldn't find a configuration for that. Thanks.

I have a restricted subforum where users can't see someone else's topic, but my moderators need to be able to see all in order to assess them. The rights are set correctly and prior before the 4.5 update everything worked as expected, but after updating it sadly doesn't work anymore. I have set the "Can view all topics/questions" toggle on in their moderator rights, sadly this doesn't overrule the other setting like it used to do. Only setting the entire rights to unrestricted fixes the problem, but I don't want to give my moderators all rights. Did anyone experience this too, and is there a way to easily fix this?

This would be very nice if in forums configuration would be a "Yes/No" form where user can set Image icons in forum titles Fontawesome font text Because now it doesn't work. I think there are people who will prefer font instead uploading images. My plan is to hide that talking icon on the left, but fontawesome doesn't work at all.. Someone can say that's wrong for SEO. I remember that old IPB 3 did it very well because SEO parser didnt take < > formatting

I upgraded from 4.4 to 4.5 but not the latest. I always had groups when they reach a certain post rank, they would rank up to the next member group. I cannot see anything in ACP that shows this anymore. I have searched and found Group Promotions but don't see anything about post rank and how to let a member move to another group when they've reached their goal. I'm totally confused by this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Using version 4.5.2, is there a setting now that changed the default setting from 4.4.x to where... "I use to click on "view new content" and go on a thread, it used to take me to the first unread post, now it just goes to the first page." I see there is a setting in your account, does this change the default behavior?

It looks like 4.5.2 is set to blast out its availability to download more generally now, and I'm seeing the notification that an update is available on our production community. How can I dismiss this notification so that it doesn't appear every time I'm logged in? It takes up half the screen on mobile and we haven't reached the point where we can upgrade at this time. The notification is interfering in being efficient at moderation and administration duties. Thanks!

How do i disable the upgrade notice on the main forum, its appearing twice a day now and is really annoying. One reminder is more than enough. This new notification of 4.5.2 is very persistent, its just like getting spammed all the time. I cannot upgrade at this point in time. Thank you

I use a heavily customized skin for my site and it works fine on 4.4.10. I've been bitten in the past where I upgraded and learned I had to update my skin. With all the front page improvements to the default skin, will that mess with my custom stuff?

The upgrade completed, but now I am having a ton of javascript issues. Most links or functions don't work because it relies on javascript. The editor doesn't show up, can reply or create new topics. I uploaded files manually Ran the support tool, cleared all the caches Cron jobs are running, rebuilt proxies, still working on sitemaps Cleared datastore It is the default theme, i mean right now it couldn't be more default. All the directory permissions seem to be fine, not seeing anything else tell me otherwise. Some admin features don't seem to be working, like the Marketplace, nothing shows up, can't search, so some javascript …

I just moved to 4.5.2 from 4.4.10, and I want to use redis because memcache is deprecated. I installed redis on my dedicated server and went to enable it but see that I know have to use it for both caching and storage. I was under the impression that i could still use mysql for storage and redis for caching. Question: If I enable redis for both storage and caching, does IPS no longer use mysql?

Hello there! There is no way to set Subscription Plans Grace Period 0 days ie without delay. For example, we need to issue a subscription for 1 day, but we can't do this. We don't want to give a delay, is it possible to configure it?

Current IPS system miss moderation on wiki editing on database records. This feature was already requested on another topic. I would like to know if some member mess with several wiki database records and then is flagged as a spammer. The wiki database fields edited by the spammer will be deleted and the old records restored?

I'm using pagespeed nginx module from long ago with very good results. Pre 4.5 releases do not work with the defer_javascript pagespeed filter, but with 4.5 I'm able to activate this filter and almost ALL the site works but the gallery. Instead of relying on the pagespeed module, how can I change the javascript calls in order to use "defer" ? As far as I see the javascript calls are created on the fly and I cant choose which javascript libraries I want to defer. By the way, defering javascript with pagespeed makes the site faster for mobile, would be great if IPB give it a try to the defer javascript idea. Best regards
