I updated yesterday to 4.5.3 and all went smooth. I notice that in my language the New Content number of days (that are 365 days in English) - gets a random number i Norwegian. The number fluctates from 0 til many many millions of days. anyone has a suggestion to this one? Could not find or see the bug-tracker..

Is there a built in variable/placeholder that can be used to insert the body of content issued a warning by a moderator? This was a feature in vBulletin and we'd like to bring it back for IPS. I see that default messages can be included to the member, yet am looking for something like {content_body} or similar. I.e. you posted: {content_body}, even if this change is made at the template level and is universally used for all issued warnings.

I'm trying to get an icon at the beginning of the user group formatting, but just can't get it to work, this is what I have so far <span style='color:white; background:#cd7f32; font-weight: bold; padding: 3px 8px; border-radius: 3px; text-shadow: #000 2px 2px 4px ;'> Group Name </span> I;d like to be able to control the colour of the icon as well Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm a bit rubbish at this part

I have a Club that is set to Open and in the ACP Clubs Settings I have set: this is so any content that is posted in a Club remains just within the Club and not elsewhere on the site. However, Images that are added to the Club are shown in the gallery...is this right or is there a bug in the "Only within Clubs" setting? (Note: I have changed the language in my install from Club to Group in the above screen shot)

What happens if members have legacy points, say 9 points, and I make a new action that bans people for say 5 warning points? I assume there isn't a retroactive crawl through the database that searches for every member with 5 or more points and bans them. Correct? Is the new action only activated on subsequent points?

Good evening! I was wondering if there are any plugins or applications for IPB that perform a URL "unfurl" function similar to XenForo's as described in this post; https://xenforo.com/community/threads/unfurling-urls-emoji-enhancements-and-video-uploads.154986/post-1289239 I'm aware of External Links Rich Embed from the Marketplace, but I was wondering if there is a more "elegant" solution available. It doesn't look like the "log in anonymously" option is still even available at log in, and I haven't seen it there for quite a while. I think I was logged in anonymously when I upgraded to the version that did away with it. Now every time I log in I'm logged in anonymously and I can't figure out how to get around it XD

Is it possible to create member tasks? In essence like a to-do list for all members, where they can login and see the list, marking off once things have been done. I'd be able to see who's completed what at lower (phil did x) and higher level (x% completed section y). I am not seeing any plugins at the moment for this but would love to hear people's thoughts. Hi everyone, i am setting up a new community with 4.5.3. For some reason, the default theme is not assigning a ipsNavBar_active class to the active <li> element of menu. Being so, i cannot style it accordingly because it is not known what is the menu item that is active. This happens also with the default theme. While i notice that in IPS site it works ok, other communities that i have (have not yet upgraded to 4.5.3) are working good. Do you have the same problem?

I am curious what is the optimal way to setup Storage Settings? How many different configurations is necessary? By default everything just goes in to uploads I do not believe that the system creates a Folder for every specific area.. Is it better to manage configurations by "app" or just have it based what it is like site related content or user related content? I currently have: resources, store, emoticons, blog, pages, attachments, assets, clubs, downloads (files, fields, screenshots), calendar, social, gallery, cache, fields, profile. and when something new comes along it ends at the root of uploads...

Hi Guys, it appears that my activity streams showing topics are showing duplicates of the same topic. My users reported this right after the upgrade. If I'm looking at topics, shouldn't a single entry be listed for an updated topic?
