I have just renewed QNMV-************ and it is attached with the URL ****** while i have another license N6QI-********* which is also attached with ********* Now i want to use QNMV-********** on my another website, but when i click on change licensed url it says “ Sorry, there is a problem There seems to still be an installation of Invision Community at the URL on file. Before you can change the URL, you must first remove the existing installation.” Since both license are attached with same location, i believe that’s why it shows the error. Kindly free QNMV-*********** so i can attached it with another URL.

Users of our forum have started reporting that YouTube and similar videos are now auto playing in iOS. This appears to have started just before the iOS 15 release (e.g, 14.8), although affects 15 too. All embedded YouTube videos on in a topic a user is browsing will start to play at the same time. I haven't been able to find similar feedback given here, although one user did note that it seems to affect other sites, too. It also occurs irrespective of browser. Does not seem to affect Android, Windows, or MacOS. Any help appreciated.

Hi there. I keep getting emails from Bing Webmaster tools telling me there are a "large number of pages pointing to the same canonical URL". When I investigate, they list the following - / (root) ?lang=de ?lang=dk All of which point to my homepage. Could you tell me does Invision forums create any redirects that could account for this? I've scoured htaccess files and Invision control panel but cannot find anything, yet there is no doubt that the ?lang= URLs are definitely redirected to the home page. This makes no sense to me, not only because of the duplicate content but because I would have expected for example the ?lang=de to redirect to a German page, ot…

Hello. we use custom editor functions in our forum. In the AdminCP, however, only icons can be uploaded as graphics which then have a fixed color. With a light/dark mode setup, the whole thing looks pretty ugly. Is there a way to use FA icons for custom buttons as well? Greeting, Vakarian

I merged two accounts. The topics started by the account that is now gone (was merged into the other) now show as being posted by "Guest". The account that stayed also did not inherit the post count. Is this working as intended? What is actually accomplished by the account merge? Wouldn't I have gotten the same result just banning / deleting the account?

I have a category where users can search or offer rides. I need that they have to put "I am looking for" or "I offer" as a prefix. I googled and realized that I need to set these 2 mandatory tags in the category. The problem is that they are not visible when a discussion is created but only appear if the user starts typing them. How can I do to make them visible?

Hello - Our forum is completely unusable with this error: EX1286 Something went wrong. Please try again. I am not seeing any reference anywhere on the internet for what this error means or how to resolve it. I can't log in to admin or front end. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Paul

I am attempting to use 2 calendars with my forum. I am running into an issue where the events from 1 calendar are not populating through to the upcoming events widget. I have the following problems : Many of my pages when they get crawled by Sistrix get marked with a 404 code. But in fact these are pages which have been deleted like 3 years ago. Why do they still get indexed and how can I remove them even they don't exist anymore ? And there are URL's marked with a 404 even they exist. I just converted my xenforo to invisioncommunity the process was completed successfully and the rebuilds as well but I am facing a problem that the amount of file is not displayed in the download area as i show in the picture the image shows that there are 0 files I do not know if it will be an error but when clicking on one of the selected ones for example Combination/Combination it has the amount of 793 files can you help me with this I repeat the import worked well and the reconstruction was completed in the same way way.
