It seems like all of my renewal terms were dropped and every 3rd party application I have installed with a license to renew needs to be rebought when they already had been under a 6 month renewal term.. this is costing me more than I would like in this same space as renewal fees are half, if not less than 25% of the initial costs. Is there any explanation or investigation going on for this?

Is there a way to organize the Gallery by Member. I realize it identifies the member, but it would be nice to have it organized so each member had their own "folder" of all of their photos. Maybe it does this, but I just have a setting wrong a far as viewing the gallery. 2nd, it seems when i upload a photo in a thread, it is inconsistent on letting me add a tag. Also, is there any way to have a photo posted to Instagram be automatically added to a members gallery? Or maybe the opposite...right now it seems you can select to send it to IG chat/message, but can't add it as a post. Ideally it would go from IG to the member gallery, but either would be ok. Fina…

I'm interested in adding the Gallery app to my suite. I'm testing a demo, now. I uploaded a video, and in the controls, downloading the video is allowed. I tried to use JavaScript to insert the "controlsList=nodownloads" attribute, but the JavaScript is not reaching the popup modal. Is there any way to control who or if a video can be downloaded? document.getElementById("elGalleryVideo").setAttribute("controlsList", "nodownload"); Only works with the main page of the video, not the popup modal. document.getElementsByTagName("VIDEO")[0].setAttribute("controlsList", "nodownload"); Seems to work with all video uploads, except the gallery popup modal.

I have been continuing to struggle with task maintenance for months. I tried using: -Use Cron -Use Web service both methods don't work, punctually I get the notification back in AdminCP. If I try to run the cronjob from plesk it works correctly, it does not return errors. Checking the activity dates, it seems that these have worked though.... How come I keep getting this warning?

I tried to change the image titles here: By editing the post, and double clicking the images, you get additional options. One of those options is "Image title", which on this community, and other cloud communities, is by default generated text by some AI recognition-service. I changed these image titles, but upon saving the post, the old AI-generated captions is still there on hover, even after a refresh. And if you edit the post again, you can see it's back to the AI generated captions when double clicking the images.

Help! I ran the utf8mb4 conversion but I don't actually have access to our server. I've got a message into our IT guy but it's a weekend so not expecting to hear back today and in the meantime our forum is inaccessible. If I just hit 'finish' without making the changes to the server, is that going to harm anything? Thanks, Shantal

Hi all, Seeing a problem here upgrading from 4.6.12 to 4.7.0. This is a direct upload of files from the client area to the server, and we're now getting: The error shown here. It is definitely from the 4.7.0 files, and the permissions are set to 0777 via Filezilla. Not entirely sure what's going on here, however because of the update, the site is currently down. Any help appreciated.

Hello When trying to update, I got stuck with this error. I have uploaded a new package, all permits are ok. php 8.0 everything up-to-date on the server. I tried on a different server, and it's the same. Currently my forum is not working and I don't know what to do ... I do not have a current copy. please help

Hi All, So I help run a small car forum based in the UK and we use the invision software. we are on the latest release and noticed it say we needed to update php from version 7.4.30 to version 8.0.0. So I asked the company who look after the server to install php version 8 for us. I then restarted the services in the WHM panel and then checked the forum admin console and it still said not updated. so the server company then told me I would need to change the php version for the site In cpanel under multi php manager. I'm trying to use an API method using an API key. Do I need to include the key as a query parameter? If all is working correctly, I expect that we should see the results using https://www.domain.com/developers/rest-api?endpoint=forums/posts/GETindex&key=xxxx Although, it seems strange that you would serve the “endpoint” as a query parameter. First off, I have been a client of Invision Community for over 5 years and am extremely disappointed in the lack of direct support. Why must public topics be created in order to get support? Prices have increased, yet this is new support format?! I am experiencing difficulty upgrading my board. The error I receive is: Manual action required. There was an error downloading the files to your server. Please advise how to apply automatic updates - something I have been doing for years and has now suddenly broken.

Hey All, We are looking at possibly replacing ElasticSearch with OpenSearch and according to some topics and posts around the community, this seems to be possible. This post in particular seems to suggest that 2.0 is usable: However, we get a notice in the Admin Panel: The same error message appeared with 2.0.1 and 2.1 However, 1.3.4 seems to work fine.

Hello, I have the following problem, we have about 10 different team members in the forum, everyone should be categorized in such a way that they can downgrade the team members who are above them, or anything else. I've now tried something and a supporter can withdraw the group from a system administrator, it shouldn't be like that. Can someone help me there?

Hello my forum was hacked so decided to re-installation of my server and installed old backup file the last year but put the IPS newest version in it. now I can't login to admin panel anymore, I don't know why its giving me error. how I can login to admin panel? somebody could help me about it? when I try to login its give error [[Template core/front/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. Hi I am looking to migrate and noted that XMLRPC has been removed from the 8.0 rpm package. is XMLRPC still a requirement of an invision community? If it makes a difference my install has blog, gallery, store and pages. If it is optional, would I need to disable any settings or remove anything? Cheers John
