@ASTRAPI is helping me move my community over to Wasabi and Cloudflare.
For any Invision Communities who are currently using Amazon S3, then you may want to seriously investigate the pricing for Wasabi or other S3 compliant services.  Wasabi is significantly cheaper (80% cheaper), charges nothing on exit bandwidth, and compatible with CloudFlare.  It's a drop-in replacement for S3, so for purposes of your ACP, you would treat it like an Amazon S3 storage.

I think rather than IPS doing a night theme, it would be better to add an admin option to designate a light theme and dark theme, and once that's completed, the front end displays a user option for "follow device dark mode setting". I think that approach is more than sufficient. I guess you'd also need to then have the core check for https://drafts.csswg.org/mediaqueries-5/#prefers-color-scheme and select the appropriate theme based on what the admin selects for each. That to me seems a better solution than IPS doing its own dark theme (maybe down the line you could, but what's missing from the suite is the ability to check for prefers-color-scheme and having it just work).
Edit: Or I could just read the whole thread and see that @opentype who is much smarter than me already covered this. 🤦‍♂️

It’s an assumption that increasing engagement decreases substance. I disagree with that assumption for my own community, but I suppose that is very dependent on each community and the type of content you have to begin with.

The Invision Community software has enabled us to Envision, and then deliver, a secure collaboration space with abundant features and elegance.  Our users love the interface. We have created a seemless integration of 4x databases and over 4000 dynamically presented pages into an intuitive and user friendly site.

By the way @Mike John, I need this suggestion like ... yesterday.  No pressure or anything.  But totally lots of pressure.
I am onboarding the biggest expansion my website has ever seen over the weekend - and they're all clubs.  I'm getting 100+ new registrations every day and launched 4 new clubs in the past 24 hours, ever since Yahoo announced the limitation of Yahoo Groups.

    Hi @Mike John
    Suggestions for the future:
Time delay add minutes - Add minutes.  I want to add minutes because the average bounce rate is within X minutes, so it's important to tighten up the posting while the user is still actively engaged. Time delay different for message - Please add separate time delays for Personal Message, Email, Topic, Status Update.  The reason is that Personal Message and Status Update are posted onto the website, so those messages should hit when user is on the site.  In contrast, email should be dripped after he leaves the website, so it should be delayed significantly.  (The worst thing you can do is send an email while the user is still on the site, which redirects his attention away to email)  Tags - add a %account_settings% tag for a user's Account Settings to adjust his security and notification preferences.

Points in Download - When you submit a file and try to input Points, it does not save.  When you edit the file and try to input Points, it does not save either.
Default Points for Download Files - Is there a way to setup default points for new files that are uploaded?
Club Downloads - How do I set cost for club download files?

Club Activity: shows every album image in the stream.    This really needs to be fixed, because an upload of an album floods the stream.
Please give us configurable options over the club activity stream.

I am moving to SES in the next day or two. Finally go the email from Sparkpost. Going from ~80/mo -> $170/mo if I stuck around. SES should be ~$30.
They requested I setup Simple Notification Service (SNS) in order to increase my limit to the 20k/day emails. Not sure if your app would have some sort of API that could suck in the SNS messages and process them.
Im willing to chip in some $ if that would make the project move faster. Feel free to PM me. Thanks!

Phone based activation isn't supported at the time, but you can turn on multi factor authentication (which is usually tied to a phone) to provide an additional level of security.

Hi @jesuralem I interviewed several former Vbulletin big board owners who migrated in the article that @AlexWebsites linked.
They almost all experienced a temporary dip in traffic, then regained their traffic between 3 to 12 months after.
