I never see images in emails from my sire and they are definitely on the server. Hi, I’m using the API to migrate forum posts. So far the author/member, topic and post stuff has been fine. I can’t however see how I’d add images to posts. I do see and endpoint for gallery images, but that requires a gallery or category ID which I don’t know. does anyone have some code snippets or ideas for how to do this?

The good folks of Invision's development team inform me this is not a bug with the current Invision Community 4.6 beta (still current in final release too). Nevertheless, I am currently experiencing an interesting issue that causes the page not to render, as shown in the screenshot. This only happens when IN_DEV is enabled. Hello, 🙂 I need help regarding an email problem : all email sent to Microsoft adresses (hotmail, msn, outlook, live) by my community's server are rejected by Microsoft servers. Example : I contacted Microsoft but their answer did not help at all... I have DKIM, SPF and DMARK enabled with 100% success : I checked the emails content : they are all legitimate emails (notifications, registration emails, password change, etc.). I don't see any spam. I was told my server is sending too many emails... Where should I ckheck / what should I do now ,in your opinion ? Thank you. 🙂

We are currently using ‘getItemsWithPermission’ to pull topics into a sidebar, we aren’t sure if that should be filtering the posts according to users who can ‘read’ the posts or not. We have a private forum whose posts are showing in that initial list so have been using ‘$topic->canView()’ wrapped around the content which seems to do what we require. So is that the right way to do this? Or should we be able to filter to users that can view a post with only ‘getItemsWithPermission’?

If I sent somebody a link to my site via text message, they see the link as the icon from my site. If anybody posts a link to my site on Facebook or through Facebook messenger, it links to the site correctly but shows the picture of a guy that I've never seen. Can. somebody tell me why that is happening? Here is what it shows.

Hello. So as I'm sure Linux-experienced users are aware, there is a way of showing a user trying to SSH into a Linux server, a 'banner' of sorts, or like a warning notice that tells the connecting user that the server is secured and that unauthorized access is prohibited. One can achieve this by modifying the "MOTD" and "issue.net" files in "/etc/", and then restarting SSH. My question here is simple; what would you people put in as a connection warning?

Hi all I'm looking for the best option/plugin for displaying the text field at the end of articles. Something to encourage readers to comment, just like what we have on the actual forum. We're looking to replace our comments section with the forum. We are already displaying the most recent comments underneath, but in this example there are no comments. Hi, I'm trying to get the best result I can in Google Insights but fail miserably. Mobile version score is like 15/18. If I disable google ads I get something like +15/+20 score in desktop version. And a few extra scores in mobile. I will eventually disable ads anyway. Did using pagespeed module by google on the server help anything? Any tips are appreciated. Would a free plan of cloudflare help significantly? I'm using this theme. Switching to default theme does not make a big difference. Version IPS 4.4. Running on NGINX server.

Hi, is there a way by default to avoid this (see below) when pasting a Twitter address? And instead simply have it like this https://twitter.com/invisionps without having to click "Paste as link instead" at the bottom of the text editor? (Most people on my forum don't realise that option exists and get angry when they see someone's timeline embedded instead of a simple link).

I have looked through the guide and can't find the answer to this question and need some assistance. When making a new page and choosing the three column template I get the following blank page: I want to use the three columns in the middle and will ignore using the blank field above and below the three columns. I want to duplicate the middle row so that I have another three columns just below it and if later I need a third row add another row. How do I add another three column row to the existing one? Obviously it can be done but I have been at a loss how to do this. Thanks.

I may open a ticket but maybe it's just a settings thing. Last week I upgraded from 4.4 to 4.5. I don't have any form of recurring subscription (and all payment methods bar crypto are manual), so it's always been the case that users have been able to pay within the period the invoice is pending, or when expired they've always been able to buy another subscription whether for the same type/duration or another one. I didn't change any subscriptions settings but now users face a brand new problem. If they were on a subscription plan. Then when their subscription expires, they can only renew that subscription plan. Is that how it's meant to work? It can't …
