Like Button Image is Fuzzy

Trying to get the Like Button to appear with a clear image. I've made a 500x500 pixel PNG image. It looks clear in every viewer I try it in, as well as in the uploaded area in the Admin CP -- but out on the public forum, it's very out of focus and fuzzy.

How can I get the button in focus? Thanks!

Oh, yes. Absolutely -- here it is.

This is how it looks on my testsite...

The more you shrink an image, the badder gets the quality.

What you could try to do is create a smaller image that doesn't gets resized so much.

I thought that, too, so I've also tried a 100x100 pixel version -- which is what Invision says is the smallest necessary. Here's the file that I used there:

But here's what it looks like as the button -- It's still fuzzy.
