Has anyone seen this? I am testing 4.6.6 in advance of a big upgrade of a 4.4.x site. The welcome confirmation email has a HUGE logo on top that scrolls sideways forever. Any thoughts?

Was that issue ever corrected? Have not used IPB in a while and was wondering....It was a pain in the ass to get my Host to change that and if I still have to go through it I will just use a free forum software.....Thanks...

Hi everyone, In my forum, the number of postings is abbreviated everywhere. I running my forum in German, so it will say for instance 402Tsd - in English I guess it would say 402K ... is there some place where this can be edited so the full number is shown?

I'm trying out a new Invision test install and was wondering if: there's a way to configure the Invision DB to always use innoDB and override any calls to create myISAM tables if so, would this interfere with, or make impossible, the installation of any 3rd-party apps or plugins as a result? Thanks!

Hoping someone here may have found a way to do this -- I'd like the number of threads in each forum/board to show, as well as the number of posts. In the older versions of the software that was possible, but I haven't been able to find out how to get that done since upgrading to 4.5. I took this screencap, and I'd like the number of threads to show where the red circles are. Thanks in advance for any help!

I really like Maxmind but the support out of the IPS box seems to be only for legacy maxmind minfraud API Maxmind just asked me if I would be upgrading to the non legacy version of Maxmind. Does anyone know if the new version of IPS supports the upgraded Maxmind API? Thank you in advance.

I promise, I've searched. Hopefully I'm not having a bad day and missed it in plain sight, but ... Is there a way to recalculate the user post count? I'd like to disable the counting of posts in one particular forum since it's used for general type discussion, and not specifically about the boards main topic. I know where to disable the counting of posts, but I don't see where to ask the software to recalculate it. Did I miss it, or is it not there?

Why are the member avatars rounded in the ACP when that option has been disabled for the forum? The forum shows square avatars but the ACP shows rounded ones? 4.5 was the same way. Thanks

However, I also think the pleasure of showing one's trophies is part of the human being, it is a natural thing. 🙂 My question is this: how to show badges & reputation in forum posts? Hi, We run a forum for bass guitarists with about 45,000 members. Our current dev has been with us for over ten years but is now struggling to find the time to stay on top of things with work and family commitments. So we're looking for someone to take over who has experience in MySQL, PHP and Invision experience. The role will be maintenance focused and retainer based. Hi, I am trying to replicate this help guide style that Invision uses for their own support guides. Specifically, I am interested in the left-side navigation, the breadcrumbs at the top, and the top-right TOC. Any ideas on how I can do this? Is there a module I can buy? I have programmers that can probably script it, but frankly they are somewhat lost at where to even start. Any suggestions? I know Invision used the Pages/Databases modules, which I own, but after that I am pretty lost in how to do this.

Here's the code I use to put ads in the topic list (e.g. after the 20th topic) using CSS Selector [data-pageapp="forums"][data-pagemodule="forums"][data-pagecontroller="forums"] .cTopicList .ipsDataItem:eq(20) I have also used similar code to put ads after so many posts div[data-role="commentContent"]:eq(14) But does anyone know how to put an ad between actual categories?

Hi, I've been requested within the company to have our Intranet (IPS) to be displayed as tiles rather than like a Blog. However, I'm not sure if this can be done or there is any themes already out there which is like that? The only method I can think of would be to create a splash page with tiles and manually design and refer the tiled images to link to parts of our Intranet. However I'd like to imagine there is a plugin or something within Pages which allows the news and such to be tiled on the homepage. Any ideas? Look similar to BBC.co.uk/news
