I changed my PHP version to 7.4 and my current IPS version is 4.4.6. Do this version supports PHP 7.4? What are the drawbacks of upgrading to PHP 7.4 with my current IPS version? What things will break?

Friends i purchased IPS4.6 a couple weeks ago and have been running it fine, i have a small community and have pretty much established my site. I went back today and purchased the Blog, Gallery, Pages and Downloads add ons. My question is, how do i install them ? I did not see a way to download each new app. Just a download for the entire IPS suite. Do i upload the entire suite ? Will there be an upgrade choice? Will my current site not be harmed ? Any help will do on this subject.

Hello Guys, As everyone must already know, since June 2, 2021, Google started to use as one of the ranking criteria the speed of the site and such of the "Core Web Vitals". I'm trying to improve the speed of the forum mainly for mobile which is the one with the lowest score. For that I did some tests with LiteSpeed, which for Wordpress was a big change and solved all the speed problems, now with IPB I'm not able to find a setting that makes a difference. Do any of you use LiteSpeed in Self Hosted? what is the best setting for the .htaccess file? Thanks in advance.

A member sent a lengthy Private Message to one of our Admins. However, the PM said "sent" when he clicked the "send" button (on an iPad). However, the message is not showing up either in his Sent box or the Admin's Inbox. Is there a way to retrieve this message?

I am using invision blocks in my application. The block A contains a HTML editor which you can use to insert HTML by our content writers My current project require you to insert another block B inside this HTML editor Inserting {block="Block_B"} in the HTML of block A didn't work. How do I make IPS process the block B inside block A. Note: I wrote both the Block A and Block B, and use the default HTML editor from IPS.

Hi all, I am using Featured Content Pro of @onlyME, the the app setting I have the Lightbox enabled to show the content, below ara my questions: 1. In the light box I can't see the reply editor, it is a bug? 2. Or there any way that let me choose which elements that can be show in the Lightbox? 3. When I start to use ranking, the rank image is distorted, placed in the wrong place, and masses the side profile. It supposes to be placed inside the name latter, as in this site. Any ideas? I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi, I am EOL on my community. I do not understand how to even start to setup things for the new upgrade. Just not tecky enough. Here is what I need help on. I have a page called Downloads. I have had a license to IPB for a number of years. I just installed and setup a new site at tadsjam.com using the most recent version of the forum software. I cannot find a way to have a link back to my home / landing page which is not the forum. I have searched the documentation and the help here with no luck? Is there an easy way? Thank you, v/r Jeff

I have two Invision forums and the issue I'm going to mention is the same on both forums So I went into my AdminCP the other day to check out the new 'site health dashboard of the latest version (which is excellent I might add!) For my project, I need very high level of customization. I noticed some of the frontend template are generated from JS. We have been using Ipboard since January 2016. I wanted to edit "registration is complete" email template, but I couldn't find it in the email templates. So I wrote to support but they told me to buy extra support for it. Why should I get extra support for something so simple? Email templates section have many templates, but why no template for email content sent to new members?

Last three days I keep getting many new accounts with almost same IPs address and it's seems it's all coming from Russia and had one from Poland. Good news that IPS spam defence is working and doing it's job. Just that I had so many that I even merged three times already from five into one as they are the same IP. I also blocked three IPs in the htaccess, but they always use VPN and bypass it. Just a pian in the butt 😛 I do not like seeing huge amount of spam flagged accounts. Anyone else having the same?

Hello, Prior to 4.6 update I was having html code for Ranks Title to bold them and change their color. After 4.6 update the html code from Title does no longer work. Is there a way I can adjust color/bold of the Rank titles of Users, on this new update? Thanks!

I switched over the “CMS Records” file storage location to Amazon S3 and found that editing the record gets slow to the point where it gets almost unusable – depending on how many files there are uploaded for a record. And it’s not just saving the form the first time. Even clicking “edit” and “save” without changes is extremely slow. I guess it makes serial API calls for each file and when you have something like a multi-upload field with 25 images this will just take too long. Is anyone else using Pages multi-uploads for databases in combination with Amazon S3 successfully? I need to know if this can work or if I need to drop my approach for this project entirely. …

403 error when you want to include in a message a Facebook post, or Twitter or other ... it does the same to me, when I wanted to add an image in the rules of the forum. and since the last two updates, i thought today's one went to fix this error, and it doesn't. and i test with the original theme, and i have the same error, if anyone can help me, thank you. Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
