Hi, today I upgraded to v4.7.2.1 When trying to edit my theme back to what is was, I usually go here and edit the CSS, but there is now only one CSS file visible (custom.css) I want to edit page width. Before I edited _vars.css and change: /* Page widths */ --container--width: 1230px; --minimal_container--width: 1000px; How can I edit these files again, or achieve the same thing: set my page width?

I want to serve cached pages for guests directly from Cloudfront cache. No origin request. I keep getting this email: PHP 7.4 End of Life PHP 7.4 will soon be reaching end of life and will no longer receive any security updates. Our November release will introduce a new minimum requirement of PHP 8.0. You are seeing this message because you are currently using PHP 7.4. Please upgrade as soon as possible. Where are they getting information that I am still using PHP 7.4? I've been on 8.0 for at least two or three months.

With Discord creating their 'forum' feature, I started to have an idea and wanted to know if possible. Being that I want to run a roleplay site, is it possible to hybrid? As in, is there a way to have Discord post to IPB instead of the usual vice versa? Like if someone in a Discord channel posts, is there a way to then have that create a forum post? And adding to that, is there a way to make it post as the person? Or would it have to be a bot account for Discord? Like how could I either connect Discord to IPB in login, or have the bot know which Discord user is which forum user, to post their message to the topic? NOTE: I'm asking the possibilitie…

Good Afternoon, I am new to the Invision community and have figuring out what I can through trial and error, its been a mostly pleasant experience and I thank you for providing the software that allows my community to continue on. I would like to add small images to the right of my Site Logo (in order to link to affiliate websites). I have tried editing my theme and entering some HTML under the "Header and Footer" tab but that does not allow me to insert the images to the right of the Site Logo (only above it). Should I start editing my theme's globalTemplate file?

We are testing Ezoic on one of our websites and already have seen an improvement in revenue generated in the first few days. However we are spotting some compatibility issues which are going to be a show stopper unless we can get them resolved. Is anyone successfully using Ezoic with the latest version of IPS community and how did you get things like your front end block manager, sign in as user and live meta tag editor working, or are you using Ezoic successfully without any of issues with those? Recently we are getting errors on our site, both in the header of our public site, as well as on the AdminCP.. We will be upgrading the site, but I wish to resolve these before doing so, so we have a clean running site to upgrade from. Greetings. I hope I'm in the right sub here... I often analyze my site's speed with either, Lighthouse or GT Metrix. Since adding a new form of advertisement, I have noticed that, according to either of the previously mentioned analytic tools, complete page load times are ridiculously long. They are still interactive well before complete page load but it is concerning that, according to those metric tools, the page isn't completely loaded for an extreme period of time. If I remove the advertisement, the page loads considerably fast for the IPS product that it is. I mentioned this to the advertisement provider and they said they would have their devs look into it.…

Hi, We are currently on the IPS cloud plan and spending 330 USD per month. Last month we had 1.9 million page views and 130 Average user count. We also pay for Amazon AWS media hosting that comes in at between 20-30 per month. Next year I want to look into options on self hosting and seeing what can be saved on the running costs. Is anyone running a similar sized forum and can give me an idea of what the self hosted route may cost. Or any other advice on this? Thanks in advance.

Just upgraded my test install to 4.7.2.1 and need some help with customizing the login popup. I have gone to the template loginpopupform to add some html color etc and nothing seems to be working, can anyone tell me why anything I do in that template does not change the popup, or am I in the wrong template? Can this be upgraded/migrated to the newest invision board without losing pages/data? Mostly worried about vbadvanced and its cms pages. Or do we have to copy the content out, then add in new ones? Not sure what the equivalent is in invision forum.

Hi there, I'm going to outsource the registration process and allow users to log in to the community via oAuth. The invision community login would be totally disabled. I wonder if it's possible to export the user list with the encrypted passwords so that they can be imported into another db? Regards
