According to the official documentation, it is allowed to make several test facilities in localhost, separated in different subdirectories. This implies modifying the default settings of the cookies so that they do not conflict. In this document: it says: My question is about "...an unlimited number of installations on "localhost" domains so you can test locally without restriction". How can I do several local test installations, with the same "localhost" domain? Can I be separated by directories? For example: localhost/test1, lochalhost/test2, localhost/test3, .... ?

I've migrated from myBB @ (root.com) to IPB @ (forums.root.com). I used the provided converter but I believe the URL redirects only work if the IPB install is in the same location as the myBB install? I cannot seem to get url redirects to work properly using a sub-domain. Can anyone advise on how to set mybb thread links to redirect to IPB threads using the data in convert_link_topics? Thanks!

I've seen Our Picks here on the Invision Community forums and others talking about it but I can't get it working on my site?? Can anyone give me some guidance on how it works and what I need to do to get it showing on my forum? I have enabled the setting but I can't figure out how to "pick" content to display and how to edit who can pick content?

I have installed Members Country application from @Adriano Faria in its 1.3.0 version (latest IP beta 8 ) In Marketplace new version 1.3.0.1 has been released and advises to install it from ACP I go to ACP/Application and run Check for updates. Resulting no updates to my 1.3.0 application found. When I go to ACP Marketplace and search for the Members Country app, it says This resource is already installed and up to date. Can you please advise how this app can be upgraded? Many thanks, M.

At present there are three columns in the Our Picks main page (where you get to when you click 'view all' on the front page widget. I'd like to change this to four columns and also truncate the text to four lines so that all of the boxes are uniform in size. How can I go about achieving this? With thanks

I have a blog on my site https://www.recruitinginfo.com/ that is about college athletics and recruiting (both the site and the blog). I want to be able to feature guest bloggers on a regular basis and I'm not sure how to best achieve this. The first guest blogger posted in a way that essentially created a new blog. I don't think that really makes sense, because they are really only guesting on the main blog, not creating a whole new one. Hi, I would really like to use a footer similar to the one I have seen here on Invision. Is there any guide of how to achieve it? Have Invision shared the code anywhere for reference? It would be a great help to me who is not skilled in coding. I have tested various 3rd party plugins but was unable to have the footer extended all the width at the very bottom (as used here) or to integrate the nice wave translation image. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Good day, I was wondering whether there is a way to restrict users from seeing the content of a forum ir club based on his activity. That is, on the number of posts he has contributed. I need to prevent certain users from seeing the content of specific forums based on how active they are and even based on how many likes he's had. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance

I am new to development and CSS. Yes, yes, I know. I am a bit in over my head. For some reason, whenever I make changes to the page_responsiveness.css it seems to make page builder suddenly stop working. When I revert the css file, page builder works again. And I NEED page builder. My first question is, are there drag/drop or very visually-responsive programs that I can edit and have it change the code, and then i can change the code to invision? I tried using bootstrap, and while I love that concept, it would be great if at the very least feed my invision template in there so I can see things change as I go OR be able to drag and drop changes. Hello everyone, I was wondering whether it is possible to rename certain links in Invision community. More precisely "go to record" and "go to next unread record" I am using pages to create a course and reading next record or record is confusing. I would like to rename it to something like "next topic" or "next lesson. Is that even possible? See attachment I believe I watched a short video a few weeks ago about a functionality within ACP that sort of allowed you to edit frontend texts easily by enabling some function, but I do not remember where I watched it or if it was something like I want. Hi ! When I send an image (jpg format), the system seems to modify it automatically while its size is strictly identical to its original size. The lack of resizing is normal since I checked "unlimited size." I can't explain this intervention by the system, the JPG quality is "100%" and I encounter the same phenomenon when using ImageMagick. Image evidence : Can you fill me in ?
