Have searched the forums and found someone asking this in 2016. So instead of 150.00 GBP ...which isn't used here in the UK, we would have it display as... £150.00 How can we do that?

Hi, Re Clubs, Blogs and Calendars If you allow a member to create a Club (or for a paid Club) and they add Calendar to it, do they then have ability to import events from their own website feeds, Google Calendar etc? I know you can import events with Calendar in AdminCP, but it would be useful for Club owners too if not possible. Say for example, a local theatre has a calendar feed iCal or RSS of forthcoming events. Could they include that feed into their paid club's calendar, or automatically import content into their Club's blog? Many thanks.

How does it works in personal messages if I write to a user a message, this user reads the message and after he read I write another one and this gets merged with the previous one. I guess the receiver doesn't gets a new notification then?

Hey guys/gals - Having an issue with my Pages application (http://modsquadhockey.com/forums/news/). In a desktop setting, all of the MSH News and Articles appear, although some of them aren't sorted by date. However, when in a mobile view, the most recent articles disappear. I can't seem to find a setting that corrects this. Any advice to fix this would be great. Thanks!

I don't really like the tab style menu and wondered if there is a way to acheive a similar looking menu to what we have on this forum. I would like to basicaly have it setout in a similar way but without the middle bit highlited in red in my screenshot. How can i acheive this please?

We're new here, hence all the questions (sorry!), but having gone through the permissions I'm struggling to work out something. We want to make a user a moderator of a single forum. But we don't want that person to be a 'moderator' as such - i.e. have all the permissions that the regular moderators have (from the Moderators group permissions). We just want to allow them the ability to remove posts, merge posts, edit other posts, etc. in that single forum we assign them to. What's the best way to achieve this?

Hi all, I'm seeking some advice on the latest version of IBP. I would like to show a rotating banner in the area just below the username (in the top header). This space is open for my site but I am having a difficult time trying to place it. I followed the guidance for manually placing ads and have figured out how to edit the global template. I can get the ad to appear, but, I would like to 'right' justify the ad. Here's the code I am using, it's only showing the ad in the center: My ad is called 'DirectSponsor' Any advice on how to get this to show up on the right? One additional question, the ad will stretch the vertical size of the header. …

I've just activated my SSL encryption but the forum area shows a warning site that not all content is secure. From what i can see, it is some pixel, but i have no idea what it is. Can you help me find out what it is, why it is there, and if i can use it through a secure connection?

I am sure that this is a stupid question, but where do i set the session timeout for users? I remember being able to simply type in the url and already be signed in, but now it seems that i have to log in every time. Is there a setting on the site to define how long it will keep users logged in before auto log off?

One of the things I am hoping to encourage members to do is complete their profiles and share more information about themselves on there. However, there is a block that appears on every profile and that is the "Recent Profile Visitors" block. My thinking on this is that it's a little creepy to have your name appear on a user's profile page when you visit it and as such members are not likely to go to these profile pages if they are not allowed to visit them anonymously. I'm sure in previous versions we were able to turn this off globally, but in 4.3 I don't see any option to do that. I see that it can be turned off by the profile owner, but that's not likely to happ…

How can I add blocks to the right side of the Search results page? Currently, it seems like there are no block positions, and they are only found above and below the search results. I want to put blocks down the right hand side of the search results like the rest of my site.

Hi There! I am wondering if someone has dealt with this... Our membership site will be hosted on one domain and our community will be hosted on a subdomain. We'd really like to avoid our members to have to create separate logins-is there any way to connect the 2 sites or will they HAVE to create separate logins, regardless because it is cloud based?

I'm going to have extremely limited internet for the next week but still have to do my work. Not a problem: I can install a backup of my site locally and develop some CSS, Pages etc offline, then paste them over when I'm back online. What I don't understand is how. I would've thought it involved downloading files, importing the SQL, changing conf_global.php, and resetting the license key to be the TESTINSTALL version. This isn't working for me; my home page is an error (Something went wrong. Please try again. Hi. I'm seriously considering creating a master community and a smaller community which would share the same users on both websites. I've been reading it's easy between 2 or 3 IPS Communities.
