Downloads navigation is confusing

Why on earth can’t I see a list of ALL files regardless of sub category?

Instead randomly see 8 files out of 1000+

I need a way to see all so I can sort by most recent regardless of sub categories

User clicks a thing that says 1,526 and gets 8! Lol

Should get all 1,526 files then be able to drill down to sub categories if they want to filter it more

This was brought up in feedback before.

IPS only shows that specific category, not any sub categories.  It's even worse in my downloads since I use master categories as containers that contain 0 files themselves, only other categories.

I remember they actually fixed this near the end of IPB 3.3 of 3.4.

It's the same thing in Downloads, just that the UI is slightly different with the display of subcategories in the sidebar. The behavior, however, is identical to every other application.

One great feature from Forums forums as containers.

I wish you would offer that in Downloads.

The navigation is different. When clicking a link that says I am going to get 1,526 files and I get 8 it's quite confusing.

Seems like they don’t agree that it’s broken. It’s unfortunate because this is terribly confusing and I get complaints about it
