Great that we can charge for club membership, but it would be better if we could charge different amounts say for veterans, or whatever other discount we want to give. We are currently limited to only one fee.

So IPS is used for literally EVERYTHING you can think of Gamers, Companies, Gaming/Clan/Team Communities, and a lot more Use IPS So seeing that there is A LOT of Gaming/Clan/Team Communities that use IPS, why not give us a chance to be able to sell our own Merch? By this i mean, using a integration feature using 3rd party Drop Ship/Fulfillment Companies Examples - Printful, Printify, CustomCat They have a section where Places like Wordpress and other big sites can directly integrate their store with said Places above. This doesn't just have to be appreciated only by us Gaming Communities, anyone who wants to sell their own merch, bu…

I can't see this anywhere after searching keywords as I thought it would've come up before. So, just like Invisions Homepage when visiting it via mobile browser, it offers you the chance to add the Homepage to your mobile phone so it looks just like an app but essentially is just a shortcut/bookmark for your homepage. I would expect this is to be a brilliant edition for most people as many people browsing on a phone, you wouldn't believe do not know how to create a shortcut to the homepage on their phone and the option that is presented at Invision, just like many other websites is very sleek and gives the member a choice. Certainly helps with the push notificat…

I would like to propose a feature that would prevent users from a certain user group from writing on other users statuses. Statues updates can be used to send contact information or spam other members. Some forums like mine do not allow private messages or spamming other users with messages. Still, I can see that users can post on other user's statuses. Thanks a lot

A Mobile Hamburger Menu with a gesture would make it much easier to use. What do you think about it? Examples: https://codepen.io/adam2326/pen/YwOqqB https://slideout.js.org/

We've noticed something that might've helped somewhat in terms of how people use events. When you put up a recurring event, you can RSVP on them, like recurring meetings in MS Outlook, or other applications. However, unlike all other Calendar events or appointment type systems, if you can only make a few of the occurrences, you can't just click the ones you can make and Decline the rest. Its either all or nothing. Also, once the first occurrence has been passed, you then can't make any amendments to it anyway. I currently put up regular weekly events, and sometimes it does help putting them up separately because it pops up as a 'new' event, but ultimately i'd pr…

One of my sideline gigs is to sell website hosting to help me pay for the server that my Invision community needs to run on. To manage that side of things I opted to use WHMCS to help me with the billing and it's been fine. I also tried using the built in Invision Servers feature which does a similar thing and it integrated pretty well with my WHM/cPanel software. However WHMCS has now gotten greedy and they are now charging their license out based on the number of active clients each of their customers has. They are introducing changes on 1 July that have upset a LOT of their loyal customers, myself included. So I thought I would look at migrating my client base fr…

I can't find the option to disable outbound links in the member group attributes or in the setup guide. Is this possible? Perhaps only let those members who've reached level 3 membership status to post outbound links? Otherwise, it's just the mods constantly deleting them! Thanks and sorry if i missed

I'd love to see the reactions featured expanded to include: Reactions based on permissions - only certain users can use certain reactions Different reputation point values for different reactions (not just +1 or -1, but +2 for example) Reaction reports - flag how much user X has reacted to user Y or what percent of user X's reactions are from user Y (to prevent reaction 'spam'/abuse) Just a few ideas that would help add an extra dimension to reactions in our community, which are a hugely popular feature. I realise for some sites these would be overkill, but I'm sure for others they could be a very welcome addition, especially as I imagine the first…

This is an appeal to Invision board to please include the NEW stripe checkout in an update of Invision Board, NEW stripe checkout can be seen here: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout This supports SCA which is a legal requirement. It also supports chargeback protection, which I wish to purchase from Stripe but this requires the NEW checkout, this chargeback protection can't be purchased on the old current IB Board Stripe checkout. If you feel that this is also useful for your forums please also reply to this topic to make Invision Board aware of our desire for the NEW stripe checkout to be integrated 😀

Apologies if already suggested, I searched and could not find it specifically. Request: Change all topic title links such that they include the getNewComment parameter. This is the default behavior while browsing from the main site index, but not while in a forum/sub forum. Justification: When the Forum app had separate desktop and mobile themes, the mobile theme had this very functionality. Rather than requiring users to click the little dot/star alongside a thread, you could click the thread title to see the first unread reply. I no longer run analytics, but even as of a few years ago, half of my users are on mobile devices. We manually edit th…

There were many many times when I was writing and sending PM messages when the member has left the chat long since. And you dont get a notification, you dont get a clear message that you're the only man left in the room so to speak. You have to scroll to the top and check the status in member is still participating. So what if you make this inside the PM conversation window to indicate changes to the conversation, like new member added, a member left and so on. Just like in topics.

This is an amazing option we have with Pages, yet it does need some new feature that will make admins work whenever they decide to use Pages easier. First suggestion, we need a "Copy forum to database" option. It is really hard whenever you decide you want to make a new database for new project that already has been using forum has 500 topics more or less, and then move them one by one. Second suggestion, whenever you copy topic to database it has all options, but the time stamp. It's really would be great if you guys add this.

I am not certain if the behavior of mobile push notifications is correct. Every time I get a notification and click to view the content, the notification itself does not disappear (Android). It means the notifications are still there as if I have not yet read the content. I have to go through all notifications and swipe them away one by one. The behavior of other notifications (Gmail, Facebook, WhatsApp etc.) is different. Once I clicked them, they disappear from my notifications stream. This is how I would expect to have IPS notifications as well. Additionally, I wish the notification list in IPS would recognize that I have read the content and mark the notif…

Probably the biggest advancement in Single Sign In seems to me to be the ability for everyone who are logged in to their Google accounts is to display the Use FORUM NAME with Google popup - as Reddit and Pinterest do. @Jordan Invision @Matt

Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at limiting the number of blogs per page, For those whose blogs are their landing page are taking to long to index. Instead of 24 blogs, perhaps a setting in the admincp to limit it to 8-12, or whatever amount?

For this example, I will use Downloads as a demonstration. It would be interesting to add a way for members to buy directly from the seller. For example, if a seller sells something on Downloads, he would provide a paypal or other form of payment, so the member would make the purchase directly with the user who is selling.

It'd be great if there were an option for announcements to be pushed out as notifications to specific user groups (as in the little bell notifications, rather than a box above the forum/sidebar as it currently is). Not sure if there is a reason this isn't included, but I'm sure many people would have uses for this. 🙂

Hello, I use the club module a lot to create work groups. But I see a problem it is not possible to put a download area that is common to two clubs, this would avoid having duplicate files. The idea is to allow you to create an alias that displays the content of a section like for example the space for downloads. We can also imagine wanting to post in another club (private), a blog to avoid duplication. The member would not see the difference between the origin and the alias while the moderator and administrators would be informed.

I think I might be losing it 😰 I really thought I had read somewhere, recently, that we were getting subforums for clubs. Did I dream it or did I read it somewhere. This is a serious question, not trying to prod the beast (well, maybe a little 😉 Anyone. And tell me nicely, I'm older now 💤

Is there a way to use it only for these "critical" to deliver emails? I'm fine for the rest of our notifications and other emails to be internal. This would allow us to use a very reliable service for those emails and our IP/server for the rest. This would be cost beneficial as well as ensuring critical emails get delivered.
