Hi, there I applied a test demo website for pre-purchase test. How can I translate the contents that are set by admin such the name of Forums, the rules of every forum? See the picture attached. I would like the name of the Forum change when I switch a language. Is that possible? Thanks everyone!

After upgrading from 3.4.7 to 4.0 Beta 3a on my test environment I am having a few issues with the AdminCP that I can not figure out. First issue: It has said this all day with nothing changing. How do I restart this or get it to complete? Second Issue: As you can see in the first screen shot the user almaxkiller should have full Admin CP access, but when I log on as that user there is close to no access. Any idea how to resolve that? I have tried deleting the permission set and resetting it with full access and it still does not work.

So the default Member Albums allowed us to create "albums" per user. Now on 4.0.0 I see the option to do like we did in 3.4, however the option is absent in permissions and on the front end. Same goes when creating new categories.

I have a problem with translating day names because it takes the language locale to name the day and no phrases has been found on the language system which related to day names, for example if I've added a language with arabic system locale, all day names and ckeditors language will be translated to arabic, but actualy I don't want that, how do i translate it as a language phrases.

Many use a footer and a colored one at that. It's hard to say what percentage of sites use a colored footer but most sites I visit do. There's also several ways to skin this cat but all are a little more than the novice should worry about imo. Also........ Why not just add a footer color like header color for easy change in ACP Thank You

My question is how to add specific css code based on a language ? because I have a problem with the quote in rtl language, an I've fixed it by using a specific css code as, but the problem is that css code corrupts the style on other left to right language . I've reported a bug here , but no one replied , please help me fix that issue ...

I'm kind of lost. I moved the files after unzipping and uploaded to my test site. When I logged in as Admin and went to the download button for Beat 3...I have to log in a gazillion time and then it goes back to the checklist page and looks like it starts over. But this time, when I log in, it goes to my root site instead of my test folder. I'm definitely doing something wrong. Is there a place on the new site admin where I can go and apply the changes seeing that I already uploaded them? Are there notes I can follow? Thanks. By the way: I uploaded a fresh copy 5 times and the same thing keeps happening.

If this is the wrong forum to post my question, I apologize. I'd just like to know how would one delete their notifications from their notifications list? I clicked to "View all notifications", but I can't seem to find anywhere to delete the list. Appreciate any help. By the way, does the editor have a "Preview Post" button? If so, where is it? I really like the acronym feature but I feel it could benefit from allowing entries to be translatable. As things stand I'm having to write {explanation in Lang 1/explanation in Lang 2}, so users will see both, even if they don't understand the other language. This could get particularly messy as more languages are potentially added. Might there be scope to allow language-specific acronyms? Thanks!

Hi team, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on the team for working hard to get the official IPB site running on 4.0 Looks beautiful and I can't wait for the final release. Having a quick look around I can see that Nexus isn't here yet. Any idea when we will have access to our purchases restored? As is I get the following error trying to access my ipmarket paid content. Just curious to know if clicking on the quantity of users in a group, it takes you to a list of people in that group. But was it intentional by clicking it, the html link is set to _blank. Majority of the ACP is either an AJAX popup or stays on the same page. This is probably the only component I keep running into that opens a new tab/window. When you click these.

I noticed on the main blog page i.e. www.yoursite.com/blogs/ that BBCodes display on the previews just fine. But when you goto a persons blog i.e. www.yoursite.com/blogs/blog/1-admin, previews of each entry BBCodes are now stripped. Seemed a bit weird to me, one and not both or stripped on the main and not stripped on the individual would have made more sense to me. And we're just talking the most basic BBCode like images, links, bold, and italic.

The core/global/forms/text.phtml template and \IPS\Helpers\Form\Text should be amended to allow custom keys for the autocomplete datalist. I can think of many instances in which one would want to use the option text for presentational purposes; for instance, searching through nodes by name but saving the ID in the database. A simple way to accomplish it would be to add another variable to the helper's autocomplete options named something akin to keysAsValues and then an if clause in text.phtml which checks for it and outputs both $k and $v rather than just the latter. Either that, or there's a better way of using separate keys and values which I haven't come across yet.
