  1. Alternatively, you could just add this to your Custom CSS page. /* Hide subforums on grid view */ .cForumGrid .ipsType_minorHeading, .cForumGrid .ipsType_minorHeading + .ipsList_inline{ display: none; }
  2. I decided to do it myself, now mind you this is by no means an actual plugin or proper in IPS coding guidelines, it's a dirty method but it gets the job done if anyone's interested. And free! but use at your own risk. The product must have reviews enabled, this is set no by default to make sure to check green. You'll want to navigate in your FTP and find the file applications/nexus/sources/Package/Item.php In the function canReview, the third if statement in this function you'll want to change to TRUE. And that does it, this is an all or nothing deal and not configurable per item like CoffeeCake suggested. But will allow all logged in users to leave 1 review each regardless if they have purchased the item or not, and if the item allows reviews. That's it!
  3. Hello, IPS Commerce/Nexus has the option for individual items to be reviewed. In order to leave a review a person has to purchase that item. I understand why IPS did this, obviously you don't want people reviewing something they did not purchase, makes sense. What I'm requesting, is a plugin, that will bypass or disable the if purchased check, to let anyone leave a review on an item. But still maintains the if user logged in check, i.e. don't want guests to leave reviews. (Looking at a budget of 15 USD, Adriano Faira asked me to include this as he was charging 75 USD) Why is that important? Well let's say in your store you have items that people could have purchased elsewhere i.e. a venue, a convention, by mailorder direct, etc... Or let's say you were using a different website software and people previously purchased an item from you, and you upgraded to IPS, rather than forcing people to repurchase something a second time to leave a review, this will allow them to make the review without the purchase. Thanks!
  4. Hello, While using IP.Nexus (Commerce) on my site, I noticed there is no place for users to follow content like you would a topic, file, gallery, calendar, blog, etc... like you would throughout the rest of the suite. But since it's commerce, it would be more as a wishlist for items you wish to buy some day, but need to have added to your manage followed content list like any other content on your IPS suite. I'm quite surprised it wasn't a default feature on the standard Commerce add-on. Thanks!
  5. http://www.ipbwiki.com It doesn't really replace MediaWiki, rather combines both MediaWiki and IPB3 together in one logged in session where you can register on either and have accounts sync on both, and allows posting to be transferred back and forth as well as setting up the skin template to be universal between the two.
  6. Any chance on knowing what file affects this?
  7. Basically what I'm asking is to find a way to disable this option by default rather having it enabled by default. I would rather have the posters choose to have their signatures displayed or not rather having it displayed by default. This includes the regular posting/new topic screen as well as the fast reply screen (you don't see the option like on the full page, but it still adds signatures by default).
  8. Here I figured the site was already hacked. :o
  9. Forum's will always copy ingenuity from each other such as sub-forums, reporting centers, heck even the idea of avatars has been taken on as there were days of avatar and signature less forums. But more to the topic, to me not really so much copying, a better organization can be setup the same by many. If you really wanted to argue, you could go back-wards and say IPB copied vB's profile pages back with IPB2's newer profile page updates compared to the classic view which was IPB's older trademark in which no one copied. However I do admit their registration page setup is a dead on duplicate.
  10. Even if you originally started out with a BETA then upgraded to an RC, I'm finding the ionCube encoded files still stating that it's expired. Should the upgraded RC's be saying this too?
