  1. Sure, what's the link?
  2. Has to do with the following HTML. <div class="ipsPhotoPanel ipsPhotoPanel_mini"> <img src="http://www.thumbnail.jpg" class="ipsUserPhoto ipsUserPhoto_mini"> <div> <span class="ipsType_normal ipsTruncate ipsTruncate_line">Image Title</span> <span class="ipsType_small ipsTruncate ipsTruncate_line">By Admin</span> </div> </div> Could treat it however you like to remove the black box that hovers the thumbnail.

In the AdminCP, hover the Community tab and under the Calendar section will say Venues. You will however have to enable them first in Settings under Calendar. Once enabled, and you've added some venues, they will appear a drop down when creating events in Calendar.
  4. I've noticed on my community if I price something at zero dollars it will display as $0.00 dollars. Whereas here on IPS whenever something is $0.00 it will display as FREE. I was wondering if there was a setting I'm missing or perhaps a mod available that does this?
  5. The logo was just an example that I felt people could associate with. The custom CSS I have planned is pretty broad and the goal is to have various themes for each forum section without having to create multiple Themes entirely.
  6. After reading the help guide I was trying to figure how to make certain CSS change various forum pages specifically. For example, I wanted to change the logo based on which forum ID you were visiting; i.e. if the viewer was reading a list of topics in forum ID 2; they'd see one a different logo from all the other pages. And if they went to forum ID 3, they'd see a completely different logo. body[data-pageapp="forums"] .ipsPageHeader { ...your styles } So for the most part I want the logo to remain untouched until they viewed that specific forum ID assigned in the custom.css editor. So far I've only got it to change if they move to the forums app; and it would return on every other module. I really don't understand the data-page attribute that determines what forum I'm presently viewing. Thoughts?
  7. Go to your ACP, click the Customization tab, under Appearance click on Themes. Your main theme is called Default and across on the right you'll see an icon that looks like </> Click that icon, of the main tabs look for forum index forumRow Find the following <ul class="ipsDataItem_lastPoster ipsDataItem_withPhoto"> {{if $lastPost}} <li>{template="userPhoto" app="core" group="global" params="$lastPost['author'], 'tiny'"}</li> <li><a href="{$lastPost['topic_url']->setQueryString( 'do', 'getNewComment' )}" class='ipsType_break ipsContained' title='{$lastPost['topic_title']}'>{truncate="$lastPost['topic_title']" length="26"}</a></li> <li class='ipsType_blendLinks'>{lang="byline_nodate" htmlsprintf="$lastPost['author']->link()"}</li> <li class="ipsType_light"><a href='{$lastPost['topic_url']->setQueryString( 'do', 'getLastComment' )}' title='{lang="get_last_post"}' class='ipsType_blendLinks'>{datetime="$lastPost['date']"}</a></li> {{else}} <li class='ipsType_light ipsResponsive_showDesktop'>{{if $forum->password}}{lang="no_forum_posts_password"}{{else}}{lang="no_forum_posts"}{{endif}}</li> {{endif}} </ul> Replace with <ul class="ipsDataItem_lastPoster ipsDataItem_withPhoto"> {{if $lastPost}} <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li class='ipsType_blendLinks'>&nbsp;</li> <li class="ipsType_light">&nbsp;</li> {{else}} <li class='ipsType_light ipsResponsive_showDesktop'>&nbsp;</li> {{endif}} </ul> Then click Save at the top.
  8. Hello, I was wanting to modify the comment area for mobile devices. I found and was able to modify the comment area for desktop users. However the changes don't seem to apply to mobile devices. I was wondering if this is changed elsewhere? The only template I've changed was the one found below. Templates core > front > forms > commentTemplate Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  9. It could be related to my bug issue, if you have phpMyAdmin you may be able to fix this yourself temporarily now until the next beta. http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/blog_social_group-r964/
  10. That's what I thought too, thinking it was like how Facebook does their albums, but I never came across the option still.
  11. I noticed on the main blog page i.e. www.yoursite.com/blogs/ that BBCodes display on the previews just fine. But when you goto a persons blog i.e. www.yoursite.com/blogs/blog/1-admin, previews of each entry BBCodes are now stripped. Seemed a bit weird to me, one and not both or stripped on the main and not stripped on the individual would have made more sense to me. And we're just talking the most basic BBCode like images, links, bold, and italic.
  12. Just curious to know if clicking on the quantity of users in a group, it takes you to a list of people in that group. But was it intentional by clicking it, the html link is set to _blank. Majority of the ACP is either an AJAX popup or stays on the same page. This is probably the only component I keep running into that opens a new tab/window. When you click these.
  13. So in the ACP, I created some custom profile categories and items. I later then re-organized some. However this does not translate back over to the front end.
  14. So the default Member Albums allowed us to create "albums" per user. Now on 4.0.0 I see the option to do like we did in 3.4, however the option is absent in permissions and on the front end. Same goes when creating new categories.
  15. Sorry, there is a problem exception 'ErrorException' with message 'template_store_missing' in /home/domain/public_html/system/Theme/Theme.php:546 Stack trace: #0 /home/domain/public_html/applications/gallery/modules/front/gallery/view.php(222): IPS\_Theme->getTemplate('view') #1 /home/domain/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(94): IPS\gallery\modules\front\gallery\_view->manage() #2 /home/domain/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(42): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #3 /home/domain/public_html/applications/gallery/modules/front/gallery/view.php(53): IPS\Content\_Controller->execute() #4 /home/domain/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(124): IPS\gallery\modules\front\gallery\_view->execute() #5 /home/domain/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #6 {main} Error code: EX0 Contact Us This appears on the gallery when viewing an image. I installed 4.0.0 Beta 3 originally, and then upgraded to 4.0.0 Beta 3a; I hadn't uploaded an image before this upgrade so not sure if it this error is due to 3a or just 3. However I will admit towards the end of upgrading, I did receive several "Try Again?" prompts.
  16. I've recently received a reported link from a Guest user, I haven't been able to find in the settings where I can disable Guest users from reporting a link. Reason I brought this up is because there's a spambot that's reporting links and posting their spam as the report message.
  17. I'm still laughing more at the fact the original poster kept demanding their money back and threatening IPS publicly they'll use PayPal's dissolution but didn't in the first place probably because they knew PayPal wouldn't but wanted IPS to heed to their demands and give the money back to think they could cheat the system. Furthermore, if you were refunded the full amount, how would you give back your downloaded copy back to IPS? You could delete the file but how would anyone know for sure you did and deleted all the other copies you may have around on your PC. It's pretty obvious with this in mind why IPS would have such terms in their agreements as it would be impossible to manage refunds that way. I mean if everyone bought something, downloaded their purchase, then demanded a refund; what would the point being in making a sale and making a purchase to begin with? Oh right! Better staff, better service, better products, better security, better demos, better everything which clearly IPS does have unlike most other BBS products. I think I see a trend here. I love you terms of service!
  18. http://www.ipbwiki.com It doesn't really replace MediaWiki, rather combines both MediaWiki and IPB3 together in one logged in session where you can register on either and have accounts sync on both, and allows posting to be transferred back and forth as well as setting up the skin template to be universal between the two.
  19. Any chance on knowing what file affects this?
  20. Basically what I'm asking is to find a way to disable this option by default rather having it enabled by default. I would rather have the posters choose to have their signatures displayed or not rather having it displayed by default. This includes the regular posting/new topic screen as well as the fast reply screen (you don't see the option like on the full page, but it still adds signatures by default).
  21. Forum's will always copy ingenuity from each other such as sub-forums, reporting centers, heck even the idea of avatars has been taken on as there were days of avatar and signature less forums. But more to the topic, to me not really so much copying, a better organization can be setup the same by many. If you really wanted to argue, you could go back-wards and say IPB copied vB's profile pages back with IPB2's newer profile page updates compared to the classic view which was IPB's older trademark in which no one copied. However I do admit their registration page setup is a dead on duplicate.
  22. Even if you originally started out with a BETA then upgraded to an RC, I'm finding the ionCube encoded files still stating that it's expired. Should the upgraded RC's be saying this too?
