I'd like to see commerce permissions match what's in Downloads. With downloads we can select who views the product and who can download it. I'd like to see that function in commerce. We want users to see a product to let them know it's there/available without a error message and possibly think the product doesn't exist or is missing. With most sales sites a user must be logged in to purchase a product but they can still see it. This is the norm across the net in pretty much all scenarios, Kind Regards

you cant even search css as an example here on this forum. Why did you deprave us of sphinx when you didnt offer an alternative to address the search disability you have on this integrate search system here`? even during beta, we have already complained to you on several occassion for the advantage of sphinx one of them is actually searching 3 letters or less I have alot of file title that start with 3 letters and less and this isnt acceptable in anyway

Hi, Just started using Pages again and really like a lot of the changes from 3.4, however, there are some things I would like to see changed in the future. Database Templates: Would it be possible that the templates could have their own folders or the ability to create folders? The way it stands at the moment I could see things getting messy pretty quickly. For example, all the default Listing, Form, Display, Category Index and Category Articles could go into a 'Default' templates folder? Adding an option to choose which member groups can send PM to another member group, is useful when you have content that can be accessed only by paying members. Example: Premium member group can't PM the Basic member group, therefore a premium member can't leak info to basic members. Currently, there you can only forbid a group to use the PM, or you can set the number of conversations to 0 and that group can only receive messages.

When you click on the Reputation number next to somebody's post, it takes you to the a Reputation section of their Profile, but the first type of reputation shown relates to Status Updates. This often shows no content which is also confusing, wouldn't it better to show Post/Topic reputation first, as that gives you a nice list of more meaningful and useful content? Many thanks.

I plan to use closed tags and cut down on some sub-forums, much in the way IPS has their closed tags for Suite, Forums, Gallery, etc. 1. I would like to suggest when you enter a forum or content category and click Sort you can click Tags (and this only appear if using the closed system, otherwise it would be too many I think). This would be great for seeing all tags used in that area in a sorted list instead of clicking one tag and seeing just a list of that tag's content (which is for the whole site and not just that forum). 2. Has it ever been suggested in the past or has any thought been given to, when using the option where admin need to manually approve new registrations, rather than just having APPROVE and BAN only to also have something such as REJECTED with the option for admin to include a custom message to explain why it has been rejected. At the present time we get around this by having a REJECTED member group. Should we find a profile which for whatever reason is not one we would approve but by the same token is not one we would ban, rather than just deleting it we place it into the REJECTED member group. Hi all, I would like to understand if it's possible to select and merge post #1 of any given topic with other posts. I submitted a ticket because I know you cannot select post #1 to use the merge feature. This is only available on posts 2 and higher. The reason I would like this feature is because some of my members have split important topics into two or even three posts. My guess is they have done this as a follow up to their original posts. We are currently trying to take some of our topics and move them into a collective article system. In order to do this, I need to merge the posts together so the information is seamless. Hi guys, I'm a proud IPS user, but I have a problem which I cannot solve. All images which I upload end up having a hyperlink to the image URL (making it a clickable image); I would like to remove this default behavior. Hi, It seems that category multi selecting is not possible?! Here i can select only one group or everyone. In Pages is the same story. Neither in Commerce selecting multiple categories is not possible. Deselecting (all categories) not possible too when needed.

Clicking a "new post has been added" notification should mark it as read. When someone reply to a topic you are viewing, you get a "new post(s) has been added" notification (popup). When you click on it, the new post(s) are shown. However - if you are watching this topic - you will still have the same notification (about the same message) marked as NEW on the notifications area at the top. Expected behaviour: If I clicked the popup notification and actually saw the new post, the notification should be marked as read and not show up as a new notification.

Per title. It really, really, looks bad. I managed to hack in a horizontal layout with some css, but it's not something that is something I can share due to a lot of nth-of-type usage that meets my specific usage but wouldn't work well with more or less filterable fields. Every other widget has a horizontal view. Please consider baking one in for this.

I would like for there to be a way to change the ending title tag, example, my forum discusses the Paranormal. I have a forum or category that is titled Cryptozoology. Consider a thread inside of that might be called: Bigfoot Ate my Kid (Bad Parenting skills - I know! HAHA) & Instead of it showing as Bigfoot Ate my Kid - Abnormal Insight , I feel it would be better shown as : Bigfoot Ate my Kid - Cryptozoology. I hope this explains what I feel would be best. I really love Commerce and the IP Suite in general because it is an all-in-one solution. Store/Support/Community in ONE software package is downright amazing. For this reason, I'm highly reluctant to switch to some big name ecommerce solution PLUS a 3rd party helpdesk application, PLUS IPS4. My only recourse then, is to suggest the addition of things I love about those other solutions, and hope they can be added to IPS4! One thing 3rd party helpdesks can do that I wish Commerce's support module could do, is integrate with other services like Facebook. e.g. Interacting with customers via Facebook Messenger, all through the Support module in the AdminCP…
