Love that at the bottom of the screen you receive notifications but by aren’t they clickable? You should be able to click them and taken to that specific notification or if there is more than one, view all notifications. The alert is great but it’s confusing for users and myself - constantly forgetting that those notifications are just for show. Users have to remember where to actually look - top icon with the bell. New users don’t understand and I still forget.

If you have topics auto generated from a file submission it looks a bit 'spammy' from the activity tab duplicates of the same content (once in the Downloads once in the Forum) it would be a nice touch if Activity tab consolidated the auto generated topic into the Download entry... Something simple like Also submitted to <name of forum>. I would imagine site administrators would initially wish users to link directly to the new Download entry which they can then download or click support to redirect to the topic. If you enter via the support post you have to click two more times to download the underlying file.

Not sure what kind of technology is used for specific placement of tags on a photo like Facebook or Instagram but it’s super engaging to tag community members in photos like those 2 platforms. Would *love and really use* this capability.

A club owner in 4.3 version is unable to create announcement. Maybe club announcements (in sidebar) should only be available to a club where it is shown, and access to create announcements to have a club owner.

Invision Power has decided no one wants to show signatures on the mobile platform. I'm sure there's a logical reason why this might be a good idea for many forums. But I need my signature to show on my forums in the mobile version. Can it not be made an administrators choice? I give a lot of advice on my forums and need a disclaimer in my signature. This plays a very important role. I can't be the only admin with important information in their signature? Please give us more choices of how we run our forums. I need people to see my safety warnings and disclaimer. I don't care about any other signatures but it would be great to be able to switch them on for admins.

Feature request for IPS or any developers like Fosters, Adriano F. and so on who might be faster. ;-) Outdated email addresses can be a big problem. They are bad for business (e.g. bringing your members back to your site through bulk mails and notifications) and they are highly annoying, if you have to manually deal with bounces as admin. Just like there is this new newsletter subscription widget in 4.3, something similar could be added for email addresses. Set a fixed or admin-based interval (e.g. a year) and then ask the user in a widget if the displayed email address is still correct. Once confirmed, the widget goes away. In the Download Manager for 3.4.9 the categories showed a list of files that were in sub-categories by most recent added for all sub-categories under your current location which allowed us to use the categories to create a library structure. In 3.4.9 you even had an option to show files in subs or not. In 4.2.4 the categories have been changed and removed all this functionality. It is designed for a more flat structure not a library structure where without the ability to turn the option on to show files in sub-categories really diminishes our library structure we used in 3.4.9. Not sure if this is a bug or not. 1. Add a product to the shopping cart. 2. Click on Review & Checkout. 3. Click on "Back to Community" 4. Shopping cart persists. 5. Click on Shopping cart. 6. Click on Checkout 7. Click on "Back to Community" <- Shopping cart is dropped. So from the Checkout page, if you decide you want to go check a message or whatever and hit back to the community, your cart is dropped.

When creating a new database, block or page template, a blank template appears after saving ready for users to start typing. With CSS and JS, however, it's the topmost item under the HTML tab which opens, rather than the CSS or JS file.

I'm joyful at some of the changes that came into Gallery Will the front page get modernize as well? Current were stock with a static page (in terms of layout) and much work has been done on the uploading and sorting of images. But not much has been improve on the front page to the gallery system from 4.X. There are not many option (much of one) to allow user to change the layout design by user or admin. I ask in the blog but gotten no reply to if there will be any work done to the front page for allowing different function viewpoints to how people want there Gallery to open up to. Hello, I am putting in a request for a future feature. Is it possible to have certain Shipping Rates only available for certain user groups? For example, if I offer a premium membership that one of the perks is free or discounted shipping, this would be great! Is this possible already? If not, could this be implemented somehow? A forum has many returning visitors and to avoid showing the same banner-image over and over it would have been a big advantage to be able to alternate between different images with option to assign dedicated link to each image. We used Google DFP before and it has this functionality.

Right now, you can create specific actions for the Forums app. For example, we used to have applications to our gaming server on the Forums, and when our Application Moderators would review them, they had little buttons (alongside the stock Lock, Move, etc) such as Accept, Deny, Pending, which would move to the relevant forum and whatnot automatically, with one click of a button. We recently moved to using a Database, because of the form features. However, we can no longer use those automatic actions. I'm currently using Clubs for a summer school course I'm teaching which has download areas for readings for each week (each week has its own file category). Right now, each category shows up as a tab in the Clubs space, but ideally one should be able to use a drop-down menu to show the categories, as it optimises space in the tab menu and, well, just plain looks better.

Hello, Please consider adding referrerpolicy="origin" or referrerpolicy="no-referrer" to the Google Fonts CSS <link> tag. Right now, if one uses a Google Font (the default on IPB 4.2 when I upgraded, certainly), it gives away the full URL the user is browsing to Google. Google claims they are only keeping track of font popularity, so there is no harm in doing this that I can see. If not having a referrer is an issue, referrerpolicy="origin" would solve the 'giving the entire browsing history of all IPB users away to Google' problem while still providing the requesting site. In the current version, 4.2.7, there is a feature "Bulk mail" (under Members, ACP). Admins need a User's Guide, I feel. Neither the "Sent To" nor the "Time Taken" fields report properly. Here are yesterday's figures: I have 1,750+ members, and all the mail was sent out yesterday. As well, I did not know to ask about my host's email constraints; as a result, 3,000+ bounce-backs from my host's server, and many members received the same email 2–5 times. One more problem in use: there is zero feedback from the system that "Proceed" has had any effect. I "re-proceeded" a number of times, thinking that I must have made an error. I'm not sure if this has ever been requested before or if it's already possible via plug-in, but I'd like to have an option to allow members to make gift purchases from the product page in store or via the checkout process. I know there is the option to send Gift Cards, which is what we explain to our users when they ask us how they can gift purchases, but I feel like a more streamlined option in the product or cart system would be a good feature to have? It would be nice if there was a way to include a Link - Visit our Site when setting up a forum / blog / club / gallery. That on the landing page would behave just like a Redirect Forum (counts visits to the link) and can be set to open in new window or not. I would rather have this embedded in the entity's setup options vs having to setup a dedicated REDIRECT FORUM.
