In forums there is custom sort by option, please add sort by tags possibility. If choose sort by tags, there should appear all tags of the same forum on top of all topics...

Could it be implemented that in the monkeyPatch method, code could be cached to disk/redis/wherever so the code to be executed is not always processed per request but could be saved? This could be a healthy compromise to deal with the eval method. Thanks!

Hello, xenForo has a really cool feature: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/automated-bounce-email-handling.78137/ It automatically checks for Mail delivery failed messages of users. If a mailbox becomes invalid it will stop sending future mails to this users and change the user group. Does IPS also have a bounce email handling?

Report types are a great addition to the report feature and one that should be very useful to both members and staff But... why does the 'reason' not show on the actual report As far as am aware the only place the 'reason' chosen by the member shows is in a drop down filter menu on the report table Does it not make sense to have this in a heading on the actual report...?

Thank developer offer this plugin... I want to say is, ips default theme, maybe not desktop but mobile yes, should be received implementations like this plugin direction design... Or offer some app as part of suite, that can use for more customization of mobile version, (thinking in more beautiful and user experience ) playing settings without thinking in css, html and js code. If that happens, we don't need request for a native app....

A nice addition would be pagination of the list of categories. I know that there is no such thing on the forum, but, I suggest, maybe there will be a simple solution. I use only IP.Contetnt, at the moment I have 165 categories and is still growing... 🙂 And unfortunately as a user enters the site via a smartphone, it is so difficult to browse. Started another deep dive into "Social Promotion" since I think this is one of the more interesting additions to 4.2. I've noticed a little wrinkle in the display of Clubs features such as blogs, forums, etc. when creating widgets of recent post feeds. For example: I have a Club (Space) called the CPRG. I have "Blog," "Forum" etc. in the Space tabs. However, when I create a widget of recent Blog posts the recent posts read ", by [POSTER], in Blog." In order to list the blog non-generically, I have to edit the Space Blog title to read "CPRG Blog." Ditto for Forums, Gallery, Files etc. This fixes the display issue, but to completely fix this the Space menu would read CPRG Blog, CPRG Forums, CPRG Gallery, CPRG Files.......which seems redundant and a bit sloppy. Please add option of "group of authors". Please take a little improvement on tags system : In the case when I have predefined tags, the purpose is guide the member use it, but the problem is by default when member open a topic these predefined tags don't show on the field, so member don't know which tags he can choose... Please make predefined tags visible by first view, then member choose which tags needed, this is logically ux.

All the forum platform, after that the focus is in topic, forum has value because topics, please add more topic tools, example, share topic is a tool that make topic use more stronger... Etc. Please add widget or block that can placed on top or button of topic, and there contain different files(images, videos, pdf and others files) that was uploaded during the participation of members by posts. Currently it is not possible to disable individual activities in the stream. For example, I have no use for new user registrations appearing in the stream and would like to be able to disable them.

All activity currently checks for updates automatically, but only inserts them when you click the button. It would be nice, as suggested by one of my members, to add the option of automatically showing the new posts too. It adds no extra server load, because the posts are already loaded into the browser during the background poll, not when then click show. This could get annoying if the user is scrolled below the top and there is no handling of scrolling the viewport to match where they were looking, but this can be solved by making it an option, or by implementing viewport scrolling so the posts are inserted above but the browser is scrolled accordingly so they don'…

Items created in one theme are applied globally to all themes and the default theme internally when using designers mode. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create 2 themes - let's say they end up being themes with ids 14 and 15. 2. Delete default theme (id 0) if it's present. 3. Enable designers mode. 4. In an external program like PHPStorm create a new folder in html/core/front/ called pp_whatever_name in theme id 14. 5. I remember a couple of years back when @Mark kindly added some new language strings to reflect the fact that many languages don't spell their days or months with capitals. He introduced some strings (they end _c) to force capitals in situations where they would be needed, such as at the start of a sentence. If you want to create a custom stream without some forum categories you have to select all forums except the unwanted ones. This is fine until you have a lot of categories, say 100 for example. In this case it is a big pain to create a custom stream. So, there should be an additional "exclude forums" option or a way to select all forums with a single click.

Hi, It would really be a good idea to make the report post link more visible. Until you mouse over the post, the report link cannot be seen. I'm having quite a few problems on my forum at the moment and want to stamp it out and one or two members have said they were not aware they could report posts. Luckily the theme developer we bought our theme from has helped us achieve this, so really this is just a recommendation to consider, especially if people run heated forums.

I need to be able to *not* export folks who have been banned from the forums since I use the export function as a means to add folks to the email list. Now there is no way to tell who has been banned when I export the members as a spreadsheet.
