This is a weird one. I have a vps with ubuntu 14.04 installed with a plesk cpanel. Everything was running fine, and with no server changes or website change Javascript decided to stop working. ie. When I try to access the block on the front page via the arrow on the left (Using pages) I get "Couldn't get list of available blocks". Nothing that requires js seems to be working. Went through the support in the admin panel and cleared te cache, changed the theme, disabled the plugins. Nothing seems to have fixed it. Even cleared my browser cache. Anyone encountered this? I am at my wits end.

Can anyone help me with two things please. Where is the setting to remove /index.php? from the URL? If you install the software at domain.com/forums/ and use the external index file, is it then possible to remove /forums/ from the URL? Thanks

If I opt to place AdSense code below the first post in a thread, when you attempt to navigate to another page of the thread the posts area goes blank and it spits out this error in the console: Uncaught TagError: adsbygoogle.push() error: No slot size for availableWidth=0 Has anyone else run into the same issue?

I have recently upgraded my community to IPB4.x and I can't seem to figure out how to edit the main navigation. I have read documenation such as https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/administration/pages/the-menu-manager-in-pages-r164/ but it seems that IPB4.x is lacking the functionalities that IPB3.x had with being able to move around the positions of custom navigation items and the IPS Apps. Is this true? This is how the main menu looks for me I would like to move Forums to be in between Home and Deals however it seems impossible. I've got users that can't get the editor box to diplay in messaging and the only common factor is Chrome running on Windows 10. Edge works fine as does Chrome on OSX. Anyone else experienced this? I've already applied all current patches and am up to date.

First off, I realize that this isn't 'really' the area to post this. I've made a support ticket already, but I need this issue fixed ASAP so if you guys can come up with a fix, that'd be wonderful. I'm having issues changing the URL to my new website. Let me give you some information. I'm attempting to access and update a user's profile field from within a page, using the following code: $member = \IPS\Member::loggedIn(); $fields = $member->contentProfileFields(); $fields['core_pfieldgroups_3'][3] = implode(',', $to_save); $member->save();However, these changes aren't actually committed back to the database. What am I doing wrong?

Since the banned group has been done away with -- how can we modify banned member permissions where we may allow them to see one forum section but want to prohibit them from being able to use the "Contact Form" and spam us or access other functions on the site? I can't see where we can modify "banned" member permissions at all........thank you in advance.

Hello community, I'm wondering if there is an in-build "preview topic" function. I couldn't find it myself in the ACP. I did however find the toolbar settings which lets you add en setup custom buttons. Even went to the CKReditors website to search for custom toolbar functions. I did find a preview button over there, but it just opens a pop-up and displays the text on a blank HTML page with the additional text style within the topic. No, I'm really looking for a preview function which will show you how the real topic will look before you post it. I hope that anyone could point me in the right direction, much thanks!

Not sure how to go about this. I have a account with another company that gives a certain code to put into your html page they say should work. Chances are it does I'm just implementing it wrong. Hi I have a problem with the additional profile fields. I created a new field profile with the select box. However, when a user selects the field and saves it, the choice is saved wrong. For example, I created a profile field with these three select box: 1) Field 1 2) Field 2 3) Field 3 A user selects his field but in his profile I see another value that does not correspond to his choice. (For example, instead of field 3 I see field 1) Is a bug or my problem? Thanks Bye

How have you all handled giving your members access to a "preview" version of your 4.0 site while your main site still runs 3.X? I don't want the preview site to contain the forums or anything, just enable login with the same username/password combo the main site does.
