Javascript stopped working

This is a weird one.

I have a vps with ubuntu 14.04 installed with a plesk cpanel.

Everything was running fine, and with no server changes or website change Javascript decided to stop working. ie. When I try to access the block on the front page via the arrow on the left (Using pages) I get "Couldn't get list of available blocks". Nothing that requires js seems to be working.

Went through the support in the admin panel and cleared te cache, changed the theme, disabled the plugins. Nothing seems to have fixed it. Even cleared my browser cache.

Anyone encountered this? I am at my wits end.

What browser are you using?

Would you have a link for me to see if I have the same issue?

tried ff, chrome. both the same. Tried my mb on a diff network and tried on a diff computer. same issue.

Removed those 2 refs, cleared cache and still doing the same.

Everything is working perfectly fine for me, do you have a different computer to try?

Can you open the developer console and check if you have any error?

Developer console?

You actually only need to press 'F12' and switch to the console tab. At its best, reload the page and then check if you have any error included.

Errors are red marked, warnings yellow, infos blue and normal text black.
If there no errors, its not interesting for us.

What version of IE are you using?

IE Edge, 11? Are you sure that 11 isnt in compatibility settings for your page which might will force it back to IE 5?

You may want to check it by that and revert if its set.

Not using IE. Using latest Chrome and Firefox.

This is one of the in my face errors. Features in the admin area also don't work correctly. Anything that is JS seems to be broken. Even re-uploaded IPS4.

Your screenshot reveals JS is working fine,

You should open a support ticket as this is database related more than likely

Fixed. allow_url_fopen  was off in the server settings. Turned it on and all is good.

Weird because I didn't change anything when the site decided to not do what it was supposed to. Anyway.
