Upgrade to 4.1.4: error with array merge (or similar); db table corrupted; error ex2 in entire community; archive contain "my-admin-renamed" folder, but init.php is with defaul "admin" and this cause issue; now i can work only if disable memcache and set to FileSystem. So, really, is best to risk with xss security instead of this upgrade -.-' - Now im on work to restore with r1soft backup (file and db). I attend next release.... :/ --- Ok, restore completed! Now im back with v4.1.3.2 and all works flawlessly

We recently upgraded to the 4.x forum from 3.x and since then our YouTube Videos are no longer embedding. Users will see the Video Embed once they click the 'Post' button, but when the page refreshes back to show them their post; it's a link, and not the video embedding. I recently contacted support and they asked me to upgrade to the update that just came out today, but I honestly can't see that being a resolution; since we can see the video attempting to embed for a half-second as the post is created, then reverts back to a link. Any ideas/suggestions would be great! (I'll be upgrading to 4.1.4 here very soon, but I'm very doubtful it'll help)

I upgraded and installed ips 4.1.4 again but the status updates are gone. I enabled them in settings but it's simply gone on my forum.

Is there any way where i can have any user in a group being able to edit ALL the articles in a database regardless of who is the creator?... With WIKI STYLE=OFF one can edit only their own pages. If i enable wiki then ALL can edit all articles.. Use Case: I created a simple helpdesk where i need ALL the members of AGENTS group to be able to edit ANY post, but USERS group must be able to edit ONLY their OWN topics. ALL should be able to comment. How i do it?

Not sure if this has been asked already. i looked through the forums a few pages back and seen nothing, as well as search. Is there a setting somewhere to allow members to accept who follows them? I know in 3.4 there was an option to accept friends but that went away with 4.0. Just wondering if there is some sort of permission that can be set to give users the option to accept followers with the option to request following someone. These are the only two options I see so far.

I have installed everything that needs to be installed on the "Check Requirements" php file. I'm attempting to clear my cache after moving to my forums from a folder to subdomain. In 4.1 there doesn't seem anyway to do this except going to System -> Support -> Something isn't working correctly. Only when I try to continue I am told " Your PHP memory limit is set to 96 MB but should be set to 128M or more. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for this to be changed. " and cannot continue to reset my cache. Any help how to reset the cache while having less than 128M memory limit would be appreciated!

Ah... I tried to optimize URLs a bit and changes this titles for tho HTML pages I have. Now all records (articles) are returning "can't be found error" with a code error 2T252/2. I tried to remove the URL settings or change it. The records are still showing the path of initially changed URL path. How should I repair this mess?

I just updated my site. To help ensure I had as few issues as possible, I inactivated / removed everything so the site was starting from stock. Previously I had an online indicator, I know it's no longer part of 4.x (no idea why???), but it used to be in the Marketplace. I can't find it. How can I add a green dot next to an online user in posts? Thanks

The platform is now at the point (and I now have the spare time) where I will be looking to upgrade my community. I have played locally for a while with various installs as far as making applications, plugins etc. Now I will be looking to create a test install on the web server and go through the upgrade process using duplicated data. I am fine with replicating the database etc but my query relates to the actual website data. So are the 'downloads', 'uploads' and 'screenshots' folders actually needed anywhere in the upgrade process. Duplicating over 800GB of data for a simple test install is rather allot of hassle, especially if I have to do it multiple times. …

Hi, is there a way to change the output of the search engine friendly urls? Currently I have a menu item called Activity and a sub menu called All Activity. the url for this is: www.domain.com/discover why doesn't this display as: www.domain.com/activity/all-activity another example is Activity > Forum Activity which displays as www.domain.com/discover/6 how can i get it to display www.domain.com/activity/forum-activity please help thanks

I just upgraded my forum, and there's quite a number of members having an issue where the editor won't open up for them... In must cases <control> F5 seems to resolve the issue, but some it doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else been seeing anything like this, is there anything I can do on the forum / server end to fix this?
