We have a locked task (updaterecords) apparently due to an issue with the Pages application. We stopped using Pages quite some time ago, it shows as version 4.1.15 under the list of installed applications. Unfortunately, it shows as locked and will not let me uninstall it: Selecting Uninstall from the dropdown menu causes the admin panel to render a blank screen. Perhaps it's safe to leave the old version partially installed (I don't see a directory for pages under /applications) and this task locked, but I'd rather clear up the error if possible. Has anyone else encountered this and know of a remedy?

In Pages, if one adds a WYSIWYG block with a picture, right or left alignment is used, and the picture is taller than the text, the picture breaks out of its block into the block below. Using picture alignment also breaks the formatting of other blocks blow it if the picture is too large. In the picture below, "My Articles" and the first article should be aligned directly under my picture. Reducing the size of the picture to the same height as the text fixes things.

We are only using the old rank system, one point pr post. Seems as if posts in a forum that is set not to increase posts is still counted when assigning rank? More details in our Access Information notes.

I recently closed a member's account who had sadly passed a number of years ago retaining the users content. He was a prolific poster with lots of information. I realise this was actually not the best plan as now no one can search for the content using his name as the name is now Guest preceding the old user name. I take this action is now irreversible. I have installed a plugin which allows me to manually change the user posts and have created an account to attribute to him, but there are thousands of posts and this would be a never ending process. Any solutions I am missing would be appreciated.

Hello, @Your Synergy has a problem with one of my apps. The app does not seem to have installed itself correctly. The problem is that there is no way to uninstall it (error 500). Since I don't have access to the DB / Files even if I wanted to, I really wouldn't know how to help him. Something must have gone wrong with the update process that the customer did in January. Can I add an ips boy in the private message I have with synergy?

Hello, We are currently on the hosted offering and recently installed an application from the marketplace. The application is great but we'd like to customize it to our needs. We were able to do so using the facilities the application exposes (e.g. custom strings, changing html/css, etc.) but we've reached a level of customization that looks like it would require code changes. Hi Guys, I've just completed a fresh install of IPB, I'm having a problem where I click to login and once adding my details the windows closes and nothing happens. No errors, no messages it just doesn't log me in. I can head to url.com/admin and login to the Admin CP no proble. I've tried clearing the server cache and using the default untouched theme. Hello hello to whomever who can help 👋 In our Community, we ask a “Question Of The Week” for engagement purposes. It is pinned at the top of the Community page, as you can see on the screenshot below. We randomly started receiving a template error and I cannot find for the life of me where or what the issue is. Nothing was recently updated that would cause the issue and the last time we updated our theme/software was with the last release. The error only recently started showing up today. Probably not a bug and it happens due to the buttons that shows up only to logged in users but it would look better if the blue bar had the same height for guests and registered users. Mobile phone. Default unmodified theme with no 3rd-party resource extending this specific area. Thank you.

I no longer see the "Error Notifications" message in my Admin CP. It's been some time since I addressed this issue. The issue was I don't have enough users on the site. I was advised to correct the issue by doing the following. The Cron file seems to be the only remaining issue. The site tech, location of my home2000.com, helped me with this. Hi. We are having a problem regarding themes when creating/uploading a new theme even if it's an official one from IPS ( default theme ). We get [HTTP ERROR 500] when selecting a new theme but we cannot figure out why we get this error. We tried disabling all the plugins & applications one by one to see if there is a Third Party Hook error. Fatal error: Unparenthesized `a ? b : c ? d : e` is not supported. I received notification that PHP was being updated by my hosting service. I believe that I went from 7.4 to 8.1. The community won't load anymore. I see a fully white screen with a few links. So I purchased cloud hosting but we are going to move to that in about two weeks. In the meantime I upgraded our self hosting plan to 4.7.9. Then I tried to upload the latest files again manually to install commerce on self hosting to test it out. Unfortunately that upload failed and the forums have been down for a few hours. On what will be one of the busiest days of the year. Ugh, anyhow it looks like admin \ upload files are failing when I try to upload them. Does anyone know what the permissions of that folder should be? I want to chmod them. Any other ideas on why it won't let me FTP to that directory? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
