So I've downloaded 2 plugins for 4.x like PHP & TXT WidgetEnabled and Who Was Online But where do I edit them? I went through everything and no where can I have the who was online set to on, no where can I make a sidebar widget.....

alright so why is it that a field I created, which is required to enter at registration and has the code: <strong>Platform:</strong> {content} in the display format box, only shows under some of my users when they post. Like, for new members, who have the field filled out, it just doesn't show for. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

I have been having problems getting plugins to work. No matter how many times I tell support that I don't think the issue is with an individual plugin, but with my plugin system in general, they just tell me it's an issue with the plugin and ask the developer. I have two licences, and often buy plugins twice and install them on both forums. I never have any issues with any plugins on one site, and almost always have problems installing / upgrading / removing plugins on the other site. These continued problems make me believe that the issue is with my install, or there is something "broken" about my plugin system. It is very frustrating to be stuck in the middle. …

Hi, I've read over the Help Guides regarding themes and the CSS Framework (btw, thanks to the IPS team for providing that information - it's a gold mine for people like myself). I'm in the process of trying to get my current site look/feel over to the Pages system. For the life of me, I can't seem to get the featured news div to go 100% of the page width. I've tried to go with guides on the net https://css-tricks.com/full-browser-width-bars/ but still can't get it to work properly. Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction here.

SO a member pointed out to me this The Create Topic isn't stretching to fill the page and when they start entering text is makes is stretch out as show here Also you'll notice they don't get the full editor Now after looking at the code for ths IPS create topic as I am using now, it shows this extra text as shown on the bottom right of each image #ipsLayout_mainArea:only-of-type { display: block; } Why does this now show up in my code and it shows up on the official site? Its also important to note that my theme is an altered version of the default theme. Thanks for any help!

Members on my forum can't seem to edit or add signatures (neither can I). In AdminCP it is still activated: Maybe I just can't find it? Need help with this. Edit: forgot to mention that it is possible to add a signature to a user but I need to do this manually myself through admincp.. The feature should rather be available to all members so that they can add a signature whenever they want,

I am using IP content for car classifieds and as our car classifieds is growing I wish to add the 226 car models under their brands. Problem is how to tell IP Content while adding new classified it shows all categories and sub categories, instead of showing only root categories like Audi in below image instead of BMW opened with all car model which will enable very long scroll. Any idea how we can tweak this default behavior.....?

How to have clickable dropdown arrow to display the sub category of car models on demand. I want to utilize Reviews on one of my databases and before doing so I wanted to test it but have seen that Google gets angry with structured data when there are more than 1 reviews in your article and displays the following error in Structured Data Testing Tool. Multiple reviews should be accompanied by an aggregate rating. I have gone through the templates in a hope to fix this but the required field "aggregateRating" was not easy to implement. Anyone have met this error in their Web Masters Tool data ?

I can't remember it's been so long since I've even noticed it, but someone just asked me about the ability to see who's viewing a thread that you are also currently reading? I think it used to list the people currently reading a thread that you are viewing? Was that built into 3.4.x? has it been removed or have I turned off something. Hi all, We often get "hacked" by someone appending some sort of script to a template (usually the css or the js template). No matter what we do, it seems to still happen. I am looking to understand how the templates are handled, stored, and such so that I can patch this security hole. Can someone tell me more in detail things like where the templates are stored. Just ran another upgrade on my local system. Before I started my Uploads dir was around 5GB and now 2.5MB! And I don't have any images in most of the posts and the Gallery images are also missing. (Though I do have record counts for them) What did I miss?
