Hello, if you have a database with record image enabled the image upload field is always at the bottom of the record form. How can I move it more to the top of the field list? In our case it would make more sense right after the title field. Normally you can change the order of the fields in acp BUT not the record image field. I tried to create my own record form but the record image field is part of the normal foreach loop. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, I am using a translated version of IPB 4 (Italian). This way I often can't find the menu items for which I know the English name. Currently the Max file size shown at the bottom of the editing box is 24MB. I'd like to show another number. How do I change it?

Today there is a red nag on the top of my screen telling me I must upgrade to the latest version of the software suite. My license is not current, so in the past where this screen has appeared I have been able to dismiss it and carry on. Now I can't do that. Why? If I am honest I don't like the direction this software is going and I don't like the attitude of the support behind it either. Are we now being held to ransom by IPS? If you don't upgrade we will place an immovable red block at the top of your login until you pay us a licence renewal. Is this the way it works now? I need to do a completely fresh install of my site (long story). My question is how do I retain the forum/calendar posts and events and users while everything else is fresh? What specific portions of the database do I backup and then restore?

Hello ! I often get this kind of message when upgrading from the ACP : So, I went to the client area to download the update, but where do I find the update files ?... I know I can download the entire community suite. I suppose I then need to send all the files using ftp and continue the update process ? Thank you !

Hi, at the moment in my logo template file I've got code for a retina logo image: <a href='{setting="base_url"}' id='elLogo' accesskey='1'><img src="http://www.the-stronghold.com/uploads/pages_media/5782ce3821314_1_LogoSmall.png" srcset="http://www.the-stronghold.com/uploads/pages_media/1_Logo.png 2x" alt='The Stronghold - Dedicated to Destruction'></a> Now I'd like to change this so a random logo is displayed on each page load out of a set of 3 different logos. How would I go about this? A php custom block? I still want to have retina logos for each logo too. Thanks for any help!

Dear All We limit image size on our forum to 800x600 Someone just posted some remote images that far exceeded our maximum. I thought they were controlled by our maximum, but evidently not. How can I limit the size of remote images? Any help gratefully recieved. Many thanks Bill

I am trying to add a count down timer to my website, as you can see I have a free demo version on my main page that I added the iframe coding to a WYSIWYG block, ohiocannabis.com I don't want to pay for the non demo version and someone from a coding forums has given me a HTML/CSS code to use instead. My site is http://tyrenale.invisionzone.com [will soon by tyrenale.net]. My users have to go to their Profile, click Edit Profile, then check Enable Status Updates to post status updates. Is there any way I can set this by default? I'm using Status Updates as a ghetto shoutbox [which also, you know, naturally posts to their profile which is a nice secondary feature].Thanks!

So, as much as I like the Activity to be the default tab on my website, I'd prefer to have is as a secondary tab. Currently I have two tabs for Profiles available. Activity and About Me. The new feature in 4.1.13 to highlight the forum posts made by members of specific groups is great But it works for me only in PM's. I managed to find out the cause. With out-of-box IPS theme everything is fine. Which should I check next? Currently I use the most recent IP.Board version. You could see the current topic code in sample.

So I had to reinstall the forums because I went to install the update, but after entering the database info everything just went white.. So I deleted the folder and decided to reinstall it. Now Im stuck at " An installation has already been activated for this license key. Your license key entitles you to one installation only. If you need to change the URL associated with your license, contact IPS technical support. " Do I really have to spend 15$ to reinstall this? If so that's just ridiculous. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys - Trying to get adsene on my page to display but with no luck. I paste the supplied code but get this in the preview window: "Javascript disabled for security" This seems to effect the ads ability to display at all because it simply won't show up. Any ideas?

Hi there. If you go ACP -> Commerce -> Support -> Settings -> Outgoing Emails and set this: Emails Appear From -> The department name We have an php error over file: /applications/nexus/sources/Support/Reply.php on line 361 $fromName = $email->language->get( 'nexus_department_' . $this->item()->department->_id ); It is returning NULL and your script stop to work. You get error 500 on browser. I tried to fix by looking other functions, but can't. If someone can help, thank you!

Hi all, My community is one for pilots. As a pilot it's great to keep a log book of flights and many do. (in an actual book with actual pages!) What I would LOVE to add to our IPS community would be an Online flight log book which statistics and maybe graphs can be generated from. They are fairly standard things, with Date, Take off time, landing time, start destination, end destination, and a couple of others... I have looked around and can not find anything that I could make work. I am assuming that there is a 'way' to make this happen and I am missing it. Hi I used vestacp to set up a simple cron command to run every hour. The good news is that it is running every hour. The bad news is that it emails me each hour saying "permission denied" Here is my command (changes to protect my security) mysqldump -uMY DB USER -pMYPASSWORD MYDB > /home/myuser/web/mysite/public_html/dbbackup/mybackup.sql and here is the error message I am getting /bin/sh: /home/myuser/web/mysite/public_html/dbbackup/mybackup.sql: Permission denied any ideas? Hello, I would like to report a bug related to the tables and ask you if it's possible to fix it. The Icons to add or delete a row/column (" < x > ") are displayed displaced outside the editor. I have this problem in firefox and with Chrome/IE these icons are not displayed at all. In the screenshot attached you can see that those buttons are in the wrong position and very far from the table. How can I solve this oproblem ? Let me know. Thanks,
