With new upcoming update 4.2 I was thinking about reinstalling my community from scratch. I'm having large problems with my current community like applications not working properly, language strings missing, group permissions not saving/showing, warning points not expiring and other minor issues. I would like to do a fresh 'new' install of the suite and plugins/applications and afterwards just do SQL INSERT containing articles, forums, posts, user accounts and nexus purchases. Then probably some kind of trigger to re-index or re-cache all of the new data in the database. Does anyone know if that is possible? I'm probably going to try it on my test install with the 4.…

Hi All, I need to track my customers who are downloading files from our site but can only figure out how to do this by clicking the "Who Downloaded This?" which cannot be exported to any type of csv file. Is this functionality built in? thanks!

I can't google map to embed on my sites. I have checked my setup, and before I continue even more investigation I need to know. Does it work on your sites running 4.1.19.? I have looked but can't seem to find where to set the unread content so that it takes the member to the "last" post in the topic? Topics that have several pages are a pain to get to the last page and the last post(s). Thanks for any help steering me in the right direction!

Hello I can filter out sub-forums on the activity streams, so they do not appear in the results: However I cannot do this when I create a new stream in AdminCP: The only option I have is to include all topics, or none. Am I missing an option somewhere to allow this type of filtering? I'd like to create a default stream that excludes certain sub-forums. Cheers

Hello On our custom error page we insert the IPB tags (error_message) as shown in image one: However upon access a restricted page and then revisiting the code it removed the IPB tags and replaced them with text. This means that error are no longer identified properly on our pages. It instead says 'sorry you do not have permission to view this page. See image below. Surely the tags should remain so it can present different reasons/errors. I look forward to getting this resolved. Thanks Rob

Hoping someone may be able to help me. We're looking to create database relationships between content, to associate and display content from one database on another. For instance when a user submits a record, they can tie it to another record in another database. We then wish to pull through the associated item on the other record. In example.. User submits photo to gallery (Database A), but selects a record from drop down while doing so, in that dropdown are lists of records in Database B. Once submitted, the image is now tied/related to Database B and its record. We then display the image on the record page of database B. In our case, we have businesses listed …

Trying to access API. Have enabled all endpoints, but being met with the following: { "errorCode": "3S290\/7", "errorMessage": "INVALID_API_KEY" } Have tried whitelisting IP, accessing from another IP, generating a new API key, and limiting which endpoints are available.

Hi Guys, I bet its something simple that I have overlooked, but when moving to my live site, away form localhost, I noticed I can't configure the sidebar, because the arrow that's usually on the left hand side of the site while browsing the index, isn't appearing. I have just downloaded the latest version of IPB 4.1 , not the beta version.. Question being my theme looks different to the IPB community one used here, is this a new theme that has been updated for 4.2, or is it available to download ? Thanks.
