Hello, When a user clicks on "New content" with IPS 4.2, the links displayed point on the first page of the topics instead of the last post. Is it possible to have that link pointing on the last post, without requesting users to create filters?

Hi all, i made the import of a large vbulletin community. It worked very well, all imported (attachments and emoticons too). But the user lost their avatar, i checked in the converter configuration but can't see any option about the avatar itself. The cron tasks are all finished too, have i mist something ? How can i try to rebuild them, Is there an manual option to perform it ? Thanks for any idea who can help me to find a solution Regards, Olivier

Hello, I already had the core IP Board and forum licence. I had just purchased Pages but I do not find any way to add this to my site. It does not show up on pages, doing an Upgrade gives no result, emptying cache, rechecking licence, etc.. all do not work. Can anyone tell me the correct way to add Pages to an already running IP Board forum? Thanks in advance!

We are already using Google Maps locations in our forum for events, however we are wanting to provide a combined members location map with multiple locations showing where our members are located. Has anyone else achieved this and if so how? Thanks, Wade

I essentially have a program that people can sign into. I coded it in c#, but i could easily make it again in c++. I want to make it so people on my forum can download my program, but before they use it, they must sign in using their forum credentials. any good resources on this kinda stuff somewhere? one of you guys wanna give me some information? Hi guys, Can you please check if this is also happening on your install or if it is a new bug introduced with 4.2.3? When our moderators are mentioned in a report, a notification is generated. When clicking on this notification, instead of opening the report, it is displayed in textual form the URL that was linked. See screenshot below. If we remove the "&action=findComment", the link opens correctly, so it seems (at least in our install) that there is an issue processing this parameter. Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to download the latest patch (see below) to fix an issue we are having, but I am getting the "There was an error downloading the files to your server. Please download the update and upload the files to your server, or contact us for assistance." error message. The link provided points out to the whole IPS 4.2.3 package. I can't find this specific patch at the Client Area. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to make a tab in the profiles for Status Updates Only? I would like to make a Status Updates Tab and set it as the default for my users. Then if a visitor wants to see more they can select the Activity Tab.

Hi, I know this is not exactly a bug, but the correct behavior of the platform, but I wonder if there is any solution to this. When we embedded a link to a topic in another topic, the platform gets the first image and uses it to create a thumbnail for that topic. However, if the image is too small, the thumbnail gets "distorted". I wonder if there is a way to either select a different image to form the thumbnail or to ignore images that are too small (smaller than the dimensions used by the thumbnail). Hi, today I tried to implement a https register link to a custom html widget block. But after having saved it the system converts it back to a http link. Hi guys I have been adding Expires Caching in to my htaccess files. But now think i have done it wrong. I am now getting topic titles in the sidebar not updating unless i refresh the page. Hi All, I am wanting to setup a widget that pulls stats from an API, based on the username that's linked as a custom profile field. By using the useful widget plugins above, I've been able to do everything I need regarding displaying the statistics, but my final issue is how do I reference the custom profile field value to populate the username they have saved?

Had to reinstall our forum and I restored a backup of the database etc. I am getting this though when I access it (see attached screenshot) It has this in it. I am guess something with the themes that were on it aren't loaded correctly. Is there a way to default it to the default one? Board version is the latest one 4.2.3 Something went wrong. Maybe somebody can help me out on this. I created a custom field with a select box. I have two values and marked the custom field as required. The question now is, how can I make it to show the field empty (without one of the both created values)? Right now, if a user creates a new record there is the first value inserted in the custom field. I guess there is anything I could write into the default value field? Thanks.
