Why would an API user have their IP banned over and over? I keep removing it from the list, but its constantly just banned once more. Other than in Ban settings, where else would I remove the ban? I have allowed the setting to use any IP with that particular API key. What happened was, the user has been using the api for a while now, but we had to change his key, he accidentally used the old one for a few queries and got banned. Now that hes using the new one, hes constantly having his IP re-added to ban list.

Hey Guys, I've already opened up a ticket with IPS but perhaps you guys can help me out as well The community was located a forums.domain.com - I've "promoted" the community and moved the files to the www.domain.com directory. Hi All, I upgraded my IPB forum few months back to 4.1.17. Now, I want to upgrade it to latest version 4.2.5. 1) I see that few task after last upgrade are still not complete (See below picture). So, will there be any problem if I upgrade now to 4.2.5 without completion of those tasks ? 2) If I try to manually run those tasks, it showing below error. So can I proceed with upgrade without waiting for these tasks to complete ? 3) Any guide/info for the process of upgrade ? 4) Will there be any loss of custom changes (in theme files) when I upgrade from 4.1.17 to 4.2.5 ?

Hi all, Gallery has multiple sorting options when viewing a category or an album, but not once you're inside of the album. Our issue here is that our community users tend to post Comic strips that they're creating, and whenever they upload a new page, it's placed to the left or right at random of the last page, rather than simply to the right. Is there a way to fix or force this, so that once you're inside an album it places the new pages to the right, rather than the left? How can you change a header background image on CIC in 4.2.5? The plug in Header Backround no longer works (well it does on one site, it borked the other one and I can't see a difference between the two), it's unsupported so I don't want to bug the author. Hey guys, So i am feeling like the biggest idiot right now. I am trying for 6 hours to output the frickin category name and link for a article listing in a block template for the news listing. Hi, I've installed two languages in my forum. Is it possible to open a forum page with the non-default language? i.e. with a url parameter. Like: my-forum.com/forums/page-url?langid=2 Or much better: Is there a way to detect the browser language and open a forum url using this language? This would be great to have.

I am having problem with creating clubs. - I have enabled clubs and - Enabled creating clubs for almost all groups ( except gusts ) with different access and capacity. I have upgraded(reluctantly) to 4.2.4 and have some users experiences issues trying to connect using an iPhone Safari. They get an error page that says "Safari could not open thhe page because the server stopped responding." They have tried the whole rigamorou of restarting, clearing cookies and cache, blah blah blah. Anything that I can do to test or look at on my end?

back in the 3x era when the modern file system was being developed folders initially got named monthly_MM_YYYY and in later versions it became more normalized to monthly_YYYY_MM which sorts better. Any magic clean up tool that can go thru the uploads directory and refactor these folders to current standards, and potentially move orphaned files to a different directory?

Some of my pages after upgrading to IPB 4.2.5 (from 4.2.4) are not working (but some are). I tried clearing cache and submitted a ticket. Anyone else getting this? Our hosting company which we use "Godaddy" has removed our forum database out of "mysql-admin" then zipped up the database and placed it on our server at the location "puplic.html" so this means our forum will not work... Just over 12 months ago i was chatting to godaddy on the phone and it came to light we was paying too much for our server and they suggested we downgrade and they could do this for free and we would save money on this, so i don't know too much about this so i said to them yes and i'll follow there advice. He Guys, so I've linked two databases together with the database relationship field. The field seems to always return a link to the linked record. Unfortunately that's not what I need. The linked database has a bunch of fields with content which I want to display in the template of the linked record. Could you point me in the right direction template-wise? Hi, I have chosen System as default application and Our Picks module as default one. This makes Our Picks page to be my start page as desired. However, I cannot see any images in the blocks on the start page. If I go to http://mypage//ourpicks/ I do see the images in every block of promoted item. When I go to start page http://mypage it looks exactly the same except that images are not displayed. I use the default theme on the version 4.2.4. Can somebody reproduce it? Any solution? Thanks
