Good Day, I've tried searching the site for anything on this subject.... Is there a setting, mod, plugin, etc., that will added a Next Topic in forums instead of just Next Unread Topic? Hello. I need to disable [ spoiler ] bb-tag at all, because there is no adequate support of this tag in visual editor and every time when users uses it, they accidentally breaks layout of their content via this "feature" and it takes a time for our moderators fix broken posts. Could you direct me to a proper way to disable it?

Today I watched some stats and see some interesting: very flat line of storage consumption. This is not possible in the case of user activity. And off course, I went to study this issue First I checked the directory with logs. This dir empty (bacause we not store logs in storage ). Second stage - i get the size of imageproxy folder: Hmmm... so much. Actually we didn't set any expire date for them. So it should store all files - it's okay. But. Hmm.. let's check how many files we stored.. I tried to put Xzibit image here (got it from google image).. and didn't know why it's not embed. Just a red field error. Ok.. Forget it) …

I was wondering if there is any way to control the language and characters used in specific forums/sub categories/etc inside my community. I have a few languages available for particular discussions, but I want to disable those chars being used outside of those language areas. Is there any plugin or code hack I can use? Just seeing if anyone has had and solved a similar problem, cheers!

Hello folks, how can I repair missing images, i.e. emoticons? I guess most of them were missing after migration. Hi folks, how can I hide an Image-Only Advertisement on Mobiles and Tablets? I read that topic here, which isn't what I need since I have no code - just an image. Basically we use Skyscraper which doesn't make any sense on mobiles... Workaround would be to add a single pixel gif using "Upload smaller version", but this sounds awkward to me. Thank you, Thomas

Hello, from time to time we see lost images in signatures and topics - all of the stored at Amazon S3. I'd like to utilize the theme's custom css (admin cp > customization > themes > edit custom html and css > custom.css ) to remove the breadcrumbs from the top of the forum's front page only. Forums are the default app, and I'd like to keep the breadcrumbs everywhere but the top of the main front forum page. Where do I start... Here is the thing. I had a IPBoard installation v4.2.6 and I just started a new installation v4.2.7 on because lost some files on the transition of changing hosting company so I have the other database and I was wondering If I can just copy the forums and posts with replies to the new installation. I tried copying the tables directly but It didn't work.

I'm currently having a brain fart and thought that there was a way to give one person the ability to have different moderator permissions for different forums but am honestly not sure. For example I want one person to have moderator permissions like: Forum A - Pin, Close, Hide, Move Forum B - Pin, Unpin, Close, Hide, Unhide, Delete, Mark best answer So ultimately being able to moderator multiple forum sections with different permissions for each sections. Hello all! I've been searching around a bit, but can't seem to find a way to view statistics per category or per forum/subforum. The statistics and graphs built in to 4.2.7 otherwise work just fine for me, I just want to be able to filter certain items from its count to check only the Wishlist subforum activity for instance. I am fairly sure this can't be done out of the box but if anyone knows of a plugin or other extension that will allow something like this, I would be most grateful for a link. Thank you!

I'm building a template for my database and am currently customising the listing template. I want it to be similar to the groups directory, in that I would like the list of records to show the featured ones in one table, rather than list them with the other records. I know how to identify whether my category has any rows: {{if count($rows)}} With that, I would normally call the recordRow template. I need to keep that as it is but have another line which means "if there are any rows which are featured". That's where the problem lies. If I could work that out, I'd run a foreach loop for those records to generate a list of them. This leads me on to a se…
