Hi guys I discovered yesterday that sending emails does not work correctly on my site. It turned out that the limit was exhausted. Hosting provider has already reset the limit and informed me that there is a loop in the script. I want to disable the default english language. It's ok if it will stay installed in the system, f.e. for IPS support/bug fixes... but I want to deactivate it for all members. They may NOT USE IT. How can I achieve this? All languages should have a permissions setting, who can see/use the language. Thanks.

I have Facebook set up on my forum to allow people to register easily with their account. This works fine in the normal practice of things, such as clicking on the signup button and going through the flow. I am using IP.Pages and have a public (Guest viewable) page on my site that I want to put this Facebook button on to allow them to easily click and register right from there. How can I go about doing this, and at the same time, not display this button if they are already logged in? Hi mates we want to manually unsubscribe users from our mailing list so we need to disable, i.e. remove the Option "Send me news and information" from a user's profile. Is there an option to do that -I couldn't find one- or is there another way to do it? I searched for the key "allow_admin_mails" in our theme and couldn't find it (?). Thanks in advance, Thomas

Im not sure if its even possible, so I thought I'd inquire. My community runs into the problem that they dont fill out necessary information. I was wondering if its possible to FORCE them to fill out a form upon registration no matter the method of registration they choose, steam,twitch, default. We decided to change the reputation system. All previous reactions give now zero reputation points (they are now neutral) and a newly created reaction is the only one that gives reputation (positive). For that reason, a recount with the new value for each reaction is necessary, but it does not work. Do do it, i go a membre profil in the AUI, select a random member, click recount, and select "recount for all members" I use the latest version of IPS4 (4.2.7) Any idea how I can solve that problem?

Hi, I am working on a new section on my forums and have a problem I need to work out the best way of tackling So basically it is a directory I am creating, but I need anyone accessing it to agree to a new set of terms and conditions. The obvious way seems to be to have a pop up when they first click on the new section, but maybe theres another way, im hoping someone here might have had to do similar in the past? Also, it would be good if I could make it so anyone creating a new listing was automatically added to a secondary usergroup, again I wonder if this is possible? I created a page that I want to use as my home page for the site. Without having to redirect to this page, is there a setting in the ACP where I can say that I want this page to be the index.php essentially so that when user visits domain.com, they are shown this page? If not, what other ways are people handeling this with their "Home Pages"?

Hey, Guest can not download files in forums that are public. Here I get the errorcode 2C171/1. In the administration panel I only can forbid the upload of files but not the download. Where can I change the setting, that the user-group guests can download files? Thanks for help Olaf

Is there an easy way to blacklist email adresses, so they can't be used for registering? For example: *@abc.* will blacklist all email adresses belong to the domain "abc", no matter if it is .com, .org, .net ... All I found in the AdminCP is an option to whitelist email adresses. That however doesn't help me very much.
