Out of nowhere I am getting this error on my site. Was able to upload images just fine earlier on and now this... I've not made any server changes today whatsoever or done anything to the site. Please help! The uploads directory CHMOD is 755 and this months attachments folder is 777 :S

Hi, I upgraded from v3 to v4 and am trying to customize the colors from the default color skin. The default IPB ACP editor isn't as helpful as I would like .. for example it's not clear in saying which color updates the title bars on the forums, sidebars, etc. In past IPB versions there was a very detailed theme/skin guide which had screenshots and arrows pointing to exactly which sections of the invision product would change based on the values entered, etc. Is there any such guide out there for version 4? Thanks!

Hello, I want to create a new forum, and move all topics from an existing forum, but not delete topics from the old forum, is it possible? I want to leave a copy of the existing forum with all its messages. Example: Forum A (existing) - Leave forum and topics after coping them to other forum. Forum B (new) - > Copy topics from Forum A.

Strange problem after upgrading from 3.4.5 to 4.2.7 Okay, I've been preparing this for 3 months in another server. All good. Finally I go through the same and upgrade my live site. All that went well. However, any search or content discovery takes me ages or times out (all the rest is fine) Opened ticket here; I was told it was a performance problem and to try converting database to innodb. My host tries but keeps having problems (the ORIG_ tables were still there making an already big database huge) I had another idea. We installed a backup of the database in the test server I prepared for 3 months (same host): No problem all works well…

Hello we were using showthread.php, showpost.php and forumdisplay.php from the redirect scripts for vB to IPB3, now I need the three redirect scripts for IPB 4. Were can I find them? I was thinking that we don't need them, since our migration from vB3 was in 2012, but Google Search Console tells me a different story... Thanks, Thomas

Hi There, Does anyone know if we delete a file page on the front end of the site, if the actual file eventually deletes off the server side too? Ive noticed a lot of orphaned files bloating my server that no longer have file pages. Is this a batch operation that runs on routine now? I dont see the old "remove orphaned files" tool we had in earlier versions of the community software. Thanks

Since upgrading to 4.2.7 there is a warning/notice displayed to the member that their profile needs completion. I have one custom profile field that does not need to be filled in. Is there a way to exclude this field so that if it is not filled in the member does not get that warning/notice? Thanks

Hello, does anyone know a way to remove a menu item for the mobile version. I tried using the IPS class for that in the menu item title fields itself, but that just makes it invisible, it does not remove the space it takes in the mobile menu.

So I recently just converted my community over from Xenforo to IPS. So naturally there were going to be a ton of redirects from the old URLs to the new URLS. And all that works fine. Initially for the first week or two I had the forums application set as the default - so thread URLS were https://mywebsite.com/topic/15-example-topic-name/ I then decided to change the default index application to the 'Our Picks' page (for displaying news) and I thought everything was fine until I started getting messages from Google Webmaster Tools saying there was an 'Index Coverage Issue' with over 1000 errors and that this could impact my search rankings! so I looked into it a…

Just upgraded to 4.2.7 from 4.1.9 and Matt's "Ye old post count" plugin does not appear to work anymore and my members are wanting that ID number back as we refer to that ID many times when a topic is very long so they can find the previous post easily. Anybody know of a fix or similar plugin? Thanks

Hi, I am still using version 3.4.5 because my host still needs to upgrade their php however, it is probably something simple b ut when I share a post from our forum to say Twitter for example the IPB icon appears instead of the topic image, (see attachment) can someone please advise why this is happening and what I need to do to fix the problem, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
