When it comes to the breadcrumb, I have managed to put three different streams there, yet I removed "Mark site read" to make room thinking that not many used it. (Plus it's dangerously close to Unread Content where it is anyway) Now with my site finally live after an upgrade from 3.4.5, a few members have asked for it. They still have it in the mobile version, but it would be good to put it back somewhere in the desktop version. Has anyone moved it to the footer or the user menu (or somewhere else) and cares to share the code please?

I see how I can do subscriptions with Commerce..... like $20 for 30 days access to a certain user group etc.... Can it be done with a 1 time purchase as well? Meaning pay $20 for 30 days access (non-renewing). So when they purchase it moves them into user group, then at the end of 30 days they are moved out of the group?

Hi all, getting errors from SendGrid, and trying to figure out why, and how to get around them. We have already set up the white-listed domain and email associations. Here is the error: Reason: 550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [IPAddresss Redacted] weren't sent. I moved my community from one url to another. Everything works but I can't find a way to change the name for the tabs. I went from Gamerdads.ca to GameCanadian.ca.... but it stills shows GamerDads.ca on the tab and I changed my general configuration too in the admin panel. What am I missing?

I like to keep a clean ship so have developed the habit of Pruning/Deleting old inactive Memberships. This began when I was still on the old Software Ikonboard (I was likely one of the last survivors of that BB Software.) It was PERL based and the less data baggage the better, and I also Pruned old Topics, saving the best to an Archive Forum. How would one Prune "Dead Wood" Memberships on IPS, preferably a Mass type Prune rather than one at a time of course. With the criteria being a Member that had not signed-in to the Board for let's say 2 years. (That's an arbitrary number. Hello I have a site with members registering on mountain tops and acitivity feed menu like this. All activity looks like this - and this is what I wan't for all members by default. Not like this - that is All content. This is my settings in ACP. I just can't figure out how to alter this so that they see every summit climb for every member.. Did I miss anything?

Hello folks, Hopefully this is in the right section. If not, feel free to move it. I'm having a little bit of a problem updating our software through the AdminCP since I do not know how to manually run SQL queries on the database and it's giving a warning saying the large size of the database may cause it to time out. I asked in a support ticket, and was informed that we really needed to have somebody who knew how to manually run these queries when updating. I am not that person. So, we're looking for somebody experienced with this sort of thing that would be willing to update us to the latest version and run the queries that pop up (and perhaps in the future also…

Hi, I am trying to activate the Google Loginhandler, but whatever I do I get the error "Google rejected the details provided. Please check the details you provided have been entered correctly and try again." I am pretty sure I set up Oauth, put in the correct Cookie URL and Call Back URL and activated the Google+ API as best as to follow the outdated Invision Tutorial. Does anybody have an idea what the reason could be? - Marian

For some reason my Pages article RSS feed is not in chron order: https://www.celiac.com/articles.html/?rss=1 It is also showing some older stuff from from Feb. 22, for example, while skipping certain items in between. I did just have IPS import all my articles recently from a different application, and we've run the re-indexing on all posts, articles, comments, etc., and this is now complete. Any ideas?

Hello, I'd like to either get some advice if possible, or report a possible bug with IPS 4.2.x with regard to dealing with directories on SMB shares. I have a test installation located on an SMB share, with the html root of the website located on a share like so: \\smbserver.domain.net\web\ips4\html The problem is, regardless of any variation of the above path I enter into the constants.php for either the Datastore or Temp directory, IPS creates all the files in the wrong location. Specifically, instead of creating the files here: \\smbserver.domain.net\web\ips4\html ... it creates it here instead: \\smbserver.domain.net\web\smbserver.domain.ne…

You have 2 categories in this database. You can only have 1 category to store records in the database directly. I am confused so I have to make a separate database for each category in pages now? I just renewed my IPB license to start on my site again. I finally have the time to work on it. I didn't think I had to make a separate database for each category before. [edit] I have added articles to more than 1 category. I am just wondering what the warning is for now.

Hey there! We have several marked events on our website for featuring, that have a display banner... usually a picture from a previous year, or a company banner logo... like such: We're building our website homepage off REST API calls to display in a different template, and would like a way to retrieve these images. I did not see it in the JSON response for EVENT however... Is this something that can be currently achieved? If not, could this be added to a future update? We'd really love to have this ability

We decided to limit the image post size to 700 pixels maximum in width and length and when we was doing the work on the forum server many of the attachments was over sized 2000 plus x 2000 plus of nothing of great value, members just download from the web and uploaded to the forum... Now on the forum this is a global setting and not in group content setting which only allows the same setting for all forum members but we have a group of members that post regular photo reports which want to use larger images.. i'm asking if this can be added into group content setting then we could create a secondary groups ie "photography" which will allow them members to post la…
