Hi, My community is on 4.2.9 with a custom theme / skin. I previously tried to blindly upgrade to 4.3, and everything broke. I've reverted back, but I can't find what the requirements for 4.3 are. Can somebody link me to what makes a theme 4.3 ready? Thanks!

Hi guys, I was wondering if it's possible for users to select from pre-defined tags. In my case, I am making an Operating System forum and want the prefix choices to be Windows, MacOS, Linux, Other. Is this possible? If so... how? Thank you!

IPS 4.3.1 When a member receives a email with new content notification or a mail with private message notification, in the section of "You might also be interested in..." every day of the week they appear correctly translated. However, when sending a bulk mail, in the bulk mail preview they appear well translated, but upon receiving it, some days of the week do not appear translated. Correct mail. Incorrect mail: And look also at the different time format!

Hi, I've noticed that hundreds and hundreds of emails are bouncing back for invalid emails as a result of my bulk emails. If I copy/paste each of the invalid emails into a list, is there a way to mass move these users to an unsubscribed member group so these emails don't bounce anymore? What's the most efficient way to handle this?

Hi, so I upgraded to the latest version today. It all seemed fine, but no one are able to write in the reply field now, using any browser, pc or phone. None of the text boxes in the whole forum works... If you click in the field, nothing happens.. If you type something it does not appear in the reply field. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance folks, I am still getting an error message after jumping through the hoops. We moved to SSL login for Facebook, and I followed the instructions verbatim at https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/how-to-use-ips-community-suite/social-sign-in/43-and-above/facebook-r300/ But I am still getting this error when I try to login to our community: Does anyone have any suggestions how to get FB login to work, or some trouble shooting methods? We had a small set of Emoticons we were using, then switched to the new Emoji. I left the old ones active, but they are listed at the bottom. Is there a way to list them at the top instead?

I'm dabbling in the use of the social media promotion tools and have been attempting to share a topic to twitter. The opening post contains an image. When promoting the post I'm choosing to add the image, but Twitter doesn't use this... It uses the share image instead. (the one defined in the theme) Is this the intended behaviour or am I doing something wrong?

This issue has been escalated and sitting as a support ticket for quite a while for me... so I thought I would also give Peer to Peer support a try to see if anybody else might have a solution. The Problem: I have imported nearly 5,000 members to my site and chose to send a confirmation email. All 5,000 received the confirmation email. My groups settings in ACP show that all those users are part of the group I put them into. However, those members do NOT show up in my Members list until they have logged in with the password that was sent to them. From the email that went out, I have received about 5 emails back asking to remove their account …

Hi, so my bloggers are posting within their blog - But when links of the blog posts themselves are posted to social media, the image that appears (via meta or opengraph, etc) is the cover image of the blog itself .. not the image used for that particular post. Is this working as designed? how can I get the actual blog post image to be used? Thanks!

I have been trying to configure my sharing options to include facebook groups for hours this evening, eventually contacting support of which I am awaiting response. I'm still able to select my pages, and there is an option to share to multiple FB entities, but NO groups. I am not sure if this is an issue with the theme that i am using of if the case is the same with the standard theme. When i edit a page, i have the drawer to the left, that i can drag and drop widgets onto the page. One of them is a Guest sign up promt. This widget has some text that i can edit, but i want to specify this text depending on what page it is set to. So if i use it on the front page, it should have one text. But if i use it on a blog, it should have an other text. If i use it on calendar, it should have a whole different text. At the moment, if i edit the text, it will change across all pages that this widges is being used. Is there a way to c…

So I have set the title of my site "My site - News, Forums and more!" and that's the title I want shown to users for the homepage - both on the site and on google listings for SEO purposes etc... However the name of the application shows up before the official site title. So when I have the forums set at the homepage the title is "Forums - My site - News, Forums and more!" or in my case I have the 'Our Picks' page set to the homepage and the title is "Our Picks - My site - News, Forums and more!" How can I remove the name of the application from the title ONLY on the homepage (if it's set as the default application.) Thanks.

Good afternoon! I'm trying to figure out how I can edit the appearance of the author pane within forum posts in 4.3. Specifically, as a default setting, the "Interests" field from the user profile appears there, and I'd like to make that go away. Some people fill that box with more text than the majority of the forum posts, which makes display a little interesting. I just can't figure out where to specify what should appear in this pane.
