If I write a page review and give a rating, delete the review it still shows the rating stars and there is no more option to write a review again. IPS 4.3.1 Can someone test this out? 01-05-_2018_23-22-15.mp4

It's just been reported to me that facebook log in isn't working. Upon testing myself I get this message The domain manager had no domains listed. Am I supposed to put my site URL in because I tried that and im still getting the same error. Any help appreciated

Hi everyone, I'm trying to enable Twitter login on my forums but am having trouble and not sure where to look for a solution. After setting up the Twitter login according to this IPS manual, I get the following error when I click the "Twitter login/register": Some background info: I created a consumer and secret key and plugged them both into the IPS settings I added a privacy policy/terms URL to the Twitter app settings The app permissions are set to "Read and write" I enabled "Request email addresses from users" in the app settings The Facebook login works fine. Any clues on to where I should look next?

Currently when I promote a post to facebook using the promote feature and select a load of images it creates an album on the page. I get a lot of image views but very low click through rate as clicking the images just opens up a slideshow on facebook. If I manually post a topic to facebook then manually add images beneath it creates a scrolling slideshow, clicking on these images link the user straight through to my forum. I have done a few of these manually and the CTR goes through the roof compared to the built in promote feature. Is there a way of doing this automatically, or is there likely to be in the future?

Can somebody point me towards where and how to achieve this? Like I want to send 5 recent topics (with a brief summary of each topic) in the bulk email footer, what code I should add, how to the Bulk Email tags? I tried searching everywhere on the forums but couldn't find anything related. No tutorial or guide by IPS even. Meanwhile I also purchased @HeadStand Newsletters app, but still unable to achieve that. Though that app shows to add *|recenttopics|* tag when drafting the email in template, but the output not looks as good as the official IPS email which we get having beautiful email footers with Recent topics or Our Pics etc. If there is some guide how to …

Dear folks, our Facebook login no longer functions, I have created a new login app at Facebook Dev panel, and upon logging into our community via Facebook, we are confronted with an error message: Insecure Login Blocked: You can't get an access token or log in to this app from an insecure page. Try re-loading the page as https:// I have never had an SSL cert for our community, do I really need one to use the Facebook login? And if I do need one, are there any unintended behaviors I may experience in our community with a new SSL? Thanks!

I've had facebook running for logins for some time now and all of a sudden it's broke. I get: Can't Load URL: The domain of this URL isn't included in the app's domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings. Click okay and I'm told I must enable profile sharing. However, I CAN sync facebook within my account settings. Nothing has changed, all the the facebook app settings are correct. It used to work.

Hello ! :) I changed to https yesterday and then I upgraded my community to version 4.3. About 10 hours later, I noticed that tasks are locked : In fact, everything seemed to be fine until I decided to watermark images in the gallery and so to rebuild the images it contains. Rebuilding gallery images and Reindexing posts are stuck at 97,82% and 40,79%. If I try running the tasks manually, I get a blank page, except for the notifications sendings. I would like to find information about this problem, but I don't know what to search for in the server logs. Can someone help me with this ? Thank you.

Hello again! I'm sorry to post twice in quick succession, but if I don't ask now I'll forget. Again. I'd like to edit the registration confirmation email to include information about other areas of the site. I found the template for this, and hit a wall there. It's a bunch of code and nothing else. I don't even know what the email says in its default state, much less where to insert custom content (or if I even should on that page). Can someone point me to a guide on how to customize outgoing emails? Thanks again! -Dev

Morning all! I have the forum set to email the inbound address when a registration is ready for approval. By my read of things, since I have it set to require both email validation and admin approval, I should be getting that email as soon as the email address is verified. (Is that right?) The issue is, that email isn't getting sent. All other forum emails - registration email validation, admin approval confirmation, password resets, etc. - are going out as they should. I have confirmed I entered the inbound address correctly. If someone could guide me on what I might have missed here, I'll be most appreciative! -Dev

I get an error on my google maps integration that is as follows. What does this mean in normal English and where do I find these settings weather they belong to Google or my site? That API key is not valid or does not have the Google Maps JavaScript API and/or Google Static Maps API enabled and/or Google Maps Geocoding API enabled. Make sure you have followed all of the steps in the setup instructions. You may have to wait a few minutes after enabling the API for it to take effect.

For a few weeks a number of members have said they keep getting unable to connect errors on my forum. I didn’t use Firefox so wasn’t aware of the issue but after downloading, i get the same. I can view a number of pages but then it will get stuck on connecting to my site... then time out Ive asked my hosts and ad network but neither have found out why it’s happening. Invision yet to reply It also tried it on the default 4.2 theme with no edits or ads so it can’t be ad related Ive also tried a number of other IPS forums but neither have the same issue

I've upgraded a couple of sites to 4.3.1 from 4.2.9 and found the new Gallery layout is broken on both when viewed from an iPad, where you have the masonry style image layout in Featured and New Images. What I couldn't work out was why it's okay in the default theme but not my existing themes even when all templates and custom CSS were removed or reset to default. After a few hours of testing, I found out the reason why. It's related to whether the sidebar is active or not, not whether you can actually see it or not. Hi community, How can we add multiple keywords in search engine optimization section > Meta tags. IPB 4.3 I have added multiple "keywords" and entered single keyword in each but when save it, it only picks the last one so i presume all keywords needs to go in single text box, can some please confirm? I want to update my forum to 4.2.9 before I tackle the upgrade to 4.3.1, however I get an error when doing so: I assumed that since you have 4.2.9 available, I would be able to upgrade to this version before downloading 4.3.1 and upgrading to the latest version. I have copied all the correct files for 4.2.9 and I feel like I am being forced to upgrade to a version I do not want to just yet. Is this the case?

Hey guys, until 4.2.9 all automatic upgrades went fine but i just tried to update to 4.3.1 and.. the upgrader locked me out. "The upgrader uses PHP sessions to store data, however PHP sessions are currently not working correctly on your server. This is an issue you will need to contact your host about."
