I'm pretty sure that isn't the right place for this, but I'm hoping that posting this here get some attention. I'm terribly frustrated right now by the lack of status updates regarding the data transfer from my Dreamhost server to my recently-rented Advanced 200 cloud server. The last communication I received from Invision staff was nearly 48 hours ago and my request for a simple status update to communicate to my community have gone unanswered. I'm just looking for something to tell them that things are proceeding along - that's all. I forgot to add some things on import. How can I mass update users? For example: I imported all of my members and forgot to add their telephone numbers on import. How can I go back in and mass add telephone numbers? I don't see an option on import to do it again or to update on import. Will I have to do this through the mysql database? If so, what do I need to do in there?

When I look at my 404 error logs I see 2545 404 error messages on robots.txt How do I resolve this? Why is there no robots.txt file included with invision community? If search engines keep getting 404 error messages anywhere on my site, they are going to consider the site garbage and lower its ranking, correct? Is there a best method for adding a robots.txt file?

Hello all, My blog includes mix of original and re posted articles (from other blogs or websites). My SEO company warned me that re posted articles can hurt my site rankings - unless I link to the original article and use rel=canonical. How can I add rel=canonical tag to the link I include in the article? Thanks!

Is there a way to disable the (i think they are javascript/jquery) pop-ups in gallery? For example, when clicking "Create" the "Choose Category" and "Add Images" windows shows up as a pop-up or overlay. The same thing happens when viewing an image. When I click the thumbnail of an already uploaded image, it shows up in a pop-up/overlay rather than in the same level as the thumbnail. How do I disable this?

Hi IPS buddies, how many keys are used by average on Redis on your forums? I ask because on our environment only about 180 to 190 keys are used during the day, this looks a bit sparse to me. WordPress for example uses by far more keys... Thanks, Thomas

I know this might be a stupid question and the option might be right there in my face but I just can't see it. I have a database with multiple categories and the URL for the records will have the categories name in it. I do not want this. How can I have my website display articles from my database as this: www.mywebsite.com/record-title instead of the way it is now, where the URL shows the category name such as this: www.mywebsite.com/category/record-title In other words, I want the URLs to all my records to have only the website and record title. I’m (very belatedly, I know!) trying to upgrade a small test forum before attempting to do so on my actual forum, from v.3.3.4 to v.4.3.3, and am having a problem even getting started with it. We've moved from IPS 3.4 to IC 4.3 and it's great but I have a query about PayPal and Commerce that I hope someone may be able to answer, namely: We had/have subscriptions running under v. 3.4 and they used the PayPal IPN code/URL to work at PayPal's site. Is this still needed with IC 4.3 Commerce and "Billing Agreements"? All's fine for new subs under 4.3 so far, but I'm thinking of the legacy subscriptions. Also, is the PayPal IPN URL still need at the PayPal site for product purchases? So far I've been unable to find a post/guide telling me the answer. Any info. much appreciated!

Template core/front/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme I upgraded and the global template gets this error.

Hi All, How can I put a nice footer like the one in this website ( invisioncommunity.com ) ? Where & What code do I need to place to get a responsive footer like this ? Hello people, I am trying to setup OAuth right now, but having some trouble with it. My setup : One IPB forum, version 4.3, on the subdomain forum.xxx.com (with SSL). One Symfony website, on the subdomain www.xxx.com (with SSL). I want my users to be able to login on my Symfony website using their IPB credentials. So far, it was working seamlessly with IPSConnect.
