Having finally completed and configured the upgrade from 3.4.9 to 4.3.4 successfully, I did a backup of the database, and then imported it into my local test instance. This seems to have broken the loading of CSS and JS files, as both the main forums and ACP of the test version load vanilla pages with lots of broken functionality. Is there something in the database I can adjust to fix this, or is something else causing it? Kev

Dear folks, I am having a brain cramp here. I am changing my default application from Forums to Pages, and of course making a page the default page for a specified pages folder. So now when the logo or site url is accessed the user is taken to the default page, or in my case, a landing page. Can someone remind me if there is a way to impose posting restricting such that a user gets a certain number of posts on a per sub forum basis with granular timing (periods less than one day). Basically I want to limit users who spam conversations with so many posts it overwhelms the discussions to be limited to X posts an hour in that specific sub forum. Doable?

Hello. I have a database in which there is a table that stores shops names. I have a special column containing the value 0 or 1. If the store is promoted, the value is 1. If not, then the value is 0. My question is: can I sort the list displaying these records from the database, so that the promoted stores (those with the value 1) are sorted alphabetically at the very top, and the others (with the value 0) will be displayed after these records also alphabetically ?.

I'm looking to change the option where "Ranks" are given after a certain amount of content posts and I'd like to give the ranks much like titles to members due to the better styling you can do with ranks rather than the titles where you can't style at all.

Hey. I am trying to upload a language pack to my forum. When I click upload button I getting error - Request entity too large . This is error 413 . My server is apache. I tried change value client_max_body_size in htaccess file but this does not work. Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

Every time I click on on text in the editor, it comes up highlighted. Or move with the arrow keys. It does not do it here, or anywhere else. Clicking insert stops it but only once, it always starts again. Only one the one site. Any ideas what causes this? Thanks JM

I've logged a support ticket about this, but not knowing how long that will take, and with our forum completely offline for the duration, I thought I'd post the problem here too, in case it's something the community can help with. Basically, after uploading all the files for v4.3.4 via FTP, and navigating to /admin/upgrade/, I'm presented with the following fatal PHP error: I've re-uploaded the files using the 'replace if newer/different' option, in case something failed to upload properly, but this made no difference. I'm currently in the process of re-uploading all files from scratch, but I suspect the outcome will be the same. Anyone have any ideas? …

Why is this so complicated? I'm trying to get the Facebook Share and Promote functions to work on two forum sites and it is next to impossible to figure out! Hi, actually on our website files are sorted in each category per adding date, we would like to sort them (as here in the marketplace) by latest modification, how it can be done ? A suggetion by the way, we should have a "Recently updated" Box on the Downloads home, when a user update a file it shouldbe visible on the homepage as its new update, at least on a 'latest updates' box ! thanks

On July 2nd I started getting tons of eMail bounces from various domains. These bounces are all associated with automatic notifications for topics, etc. All of them come back with the error message of "Message rejected for spam or virus content". Does anyone have any ideas on this? I'm not sure where/how to start looking for issues.

Hello, Was just talking to IPS Support about a feature I hoped existed. Basically I was looking to replicate a feature available as a plugin on Xenforo since we just recently switched over to Invision Community. What this feature does is convert any linked images in posts to a locally hosted attachment. Purpose is to avoid image leaching, which often results in complaints from the target site and also to avoid broken images over time since it's not unusual for sites to switch things up or disappear altogether resulting in a bunch of broken images in order threads. Anyhow, there is a work around using the proxy features of Xenforo to serve from local server …

I have just installed commerce to list a few products, but I don't wish to use the support feature for now. I have disabled it in ACP>Apps>Permissions but it still appears in navigation - albeit when clicked it says no permission to view it. Is there a different way to disable this part of the commerce app so that it doesn't show in navigation bar at top, as I may want to use it in the future.
