When clicking on a forum icon on the index page you automatically mark a forum as read. However, on my mobile skin they get a popup asking if the user is sure they want to mark the forum as read. Can I also include such popup on the normal desktop skin? So they first get a warning, then they mark the forum as read. Thanks in advance!

Does this happen to anyone else? I contacted support but can not find an explanation. In some messages from months ago, when accessing them some image has disappeared. They are local images, upload the upload folder by the users. I do not find an explanation of why they are deleted. Maybe something related to the Redis cache system?

Good morning friendos, Our website recently (about a week ago) updated with a strange account authorization check and as a result, has caused many users to not be able to login anymore. This personally happen to my Admin account when it asked for a birthday security question and I incorrectly answered it. As a result, I'm logged in but can no longer access the Admin CP and neither can the rest of my staff. The main concern is that when you choose the option to send am account recovery email, nothing is sent. This has happened to both staff and regular members. We checked to make sure the email address weren't dropping the email in a spam/junk folder but nothing …

Hi, I have an issue when using safari on Mac. Every time I open my site I get a pop up that won't disappear regardless of what option I choose. I'm not sure if theres an issue in my browser or the website itself. Updates to Safari don't fix it. Keen to know if this is just restricted to me or if other users are having the same issue. As well as not allowing you into the site it also freeezes up safari leaving no other option but force quitting. Screen shot attached. URL is https://arbtalk.co.uk. I think it's a good idea to put Feature in moderator actions. Only appears in these actions Unfeature. For Feature you have to do it by editing the post.

I'm running a 4.3.5 forum with the Gallery module. I was wondering if there's any way to change the order of photos in an album after they have been uploaded? It seems you can drag and drop the photos to change the order when uploading them, but I don't see any way to do this after the images have been submitted. It would be extremely useful to be able to do this using the same drag and drop mechanism when uploading the photos. Thanks, ..Al

Hey all, We are in the process of moving our community back to Invision (moving off of it a few years ago when 4.0 was in development hell), but I have run into a problem where imported posts just seem to be a mess of unformatted BBCode. Line breaks also have been removed, so every post with multiple paragraphs is now one giant paragraph of text. Did I miss a conversion step somewhere?

I can't find a way to get the "Record Feed" block to show only on the main IP.Pages index page only. The block shows on every IP.Pages page. It's driving me nuts. I tried creating a custom block for it thinking it would give me more control but it does the same thing. Can someone point me in the right direction to accomplish this? Thank you.

So a long time ago when I set up IPB, I likely followed some guide that recommended I install forums in a /forums/ subdirectory. A decade has passed, and my site still lives at domain.com/forums and the files are installed in /forums/. I am helping with a school PTO (i.e. PTA) website. I created custom profile fields to show what committee some members are on. I would like to have those fields show in the Staff directory. I am seeing a huge increase in errors from my site's tags. The errors are 429, and in Webmaster tools it says: I believe these are related to the flood control setting in admin...so google's bot is being blocked from the search due to the flood control setting. My question is this--the links listed all actually work, I tested them. Since such a spike in errors could have a negative impact in google search, what is the best way to handle this? A "nofollow" on the tags? Any idea how to do that?

If you have an element on a form that you mark as required, but then hide using a YesNo control, that element will still be required causing error messages such as the following: "An invalid form control with name='mms_selected_pfield' is not focusable." I'm looking into a temporary work around to fix this, however I would think it would make more sense to have IPS make un-mark elements as "Required" once they have been hidden on the form.
